Erin Burnett page
I wanted to thank you for the effort put forth on the EB page. If you ever need my help with a page you've worked, please feel free to send me an email.
In regards to Erin Burnett's birthday, she stated on the Morning Joe Show that she would prefer it not be made public. She also stated on TV that her birthday is not May 3, which I had orignally added to the page. I had no trouble finding that her birthday is in July using ancestory.com; but I chose not to reference this per the subject's request. - ICarriere 01:26, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Don't remove speedies
Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:
- Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
- Make your case on the article's talk page.
Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. 70.116.31.203 14:09, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
- you know, that is a mis-statement of WP policy. Anyone but the author can remove the tag. See WP:CSD. The need to use hangon only applies to the person who wrote the article. DGG (talk) 02:45, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
DON'T MISUSE speedies
On a related note: Universal Savings Bank was tagged improperly by User:spryde; there were links in the speedied article to several pieces of significant news coverage. These are a prima facie evidence of importance/significance. --Elvey 17:30, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- Elvey, I read through the article and I did not see anything that claimed notability. I therefore tagged it as such. It looked like any other piece of advert that tries to get put onto Misplaced Pages on a daily basis. spryde | talk 16:00, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- The sentence I bolded, above, is obviously untrue. The version you marked for speedy deletion was, if anything, overly critical. Again, your speedy tag was improper and careless. --Elvey 19:24, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Alright
Ok i ll leave it alone, but can you tell me what happened with David Silveria? Where does it say he left? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ash48GotdaLife (talk • contribs) 22:28, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Well yeah but does that for sure mean hes out or is it just an assumption? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ash48GotdaLife (talk • contribs) 23:25, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Could you do me a favor: If anything else about David comes up pass it on to me please, it'd be appreciated —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ash48GotdaLife (talk • contribs) 02:42, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

hI. Quite frankly I've had enough of some of the people on here. Not only did the Preity Zinta get 25 supports for an FA but was rejected by a small group, now the same group of editors are attempting to demote it not only from an A but from a GA back to a B class article and are gain attempting to delete images. I've put some weeks of effort into this - it took me ages to find a license to help wikipedia and it takes weeks for the article to eventually pass a GA and A with flying colours, but it makes we wonder if there is any point in anything I do on here if this is the kind of response I get ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ 13:24, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- I have dealt with the same thing. You just have to push through it and eventually you will come out on top. Some people do not get the hint the first time. spryde | talk 13:31, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
I always try to keep away from any wiki councilling as much as possible and concentrate on what I think is most important -the articles - building this website into what it clearly has immense potential in. I almost always try to avoid this sort of situation which I don't think helps anybody, and as you know I am almost always completely civil and very friendly, but if somebody appears to be disruptive to my progression and attempts to wipe out weeks of hard work I will stamp down on them hard and should quite rightly be reactive to them. It really does make me question this system if an article can pass GA and A with flying colours after being reviewed by several people including adminsitrators that a have a lot of expereice in GA's and receive so much support for an FA only to be back where we started with. If I just stepped away from it I would lose all of what I have spent a lot of time working for. I just wish I didn't have to encounter people like this. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ 13:57, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Actually...
I was just going with what the website said. It only lists Jonathan Davis, Munky and Fieldy as members of the band in the bios section. I edited the pages to reflect this. Plus, David was supposed to be back in the band in October of this year. Check Kornspace.com, look around, and you'll also find the interview where JD specifically stated that David will not be returning. Therefore, reverting my edits would be vandalism because you would be removing a true statement from the mouth of JD himself. BEst to just leave it alone. Dark Executioner 15:42, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Dark Executioner
I thought that that was odd too, but then again he's been gone for a while, with no news emerging otherwise about his plans to return. That's pretty much what is accepted. Like I said, just leave it alone for now, because 1. Kornspace produces a bucnh more information than nearly any other site about them on the web, and 2. he pretty much has been replaced by several different people already, like Joey Jordison and, most recently, Michael Jochum. Dark Executioner 15:49, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Dark Executioner
Hey, have oyu heard the news? Ray Luzier is the new official drummer for Korn, at least for their early 2008 European tour. This pretty much confirms that David is (Sadly) gone. Just wanted to inform you of that. Oh yeah - there's a really pesky anonymous user who keeps denying David's departure on Korn's talk page, and it's borderlining disrespectful. If he keeps it up, I think that we should report him. Dark Executioner 15:51, 12 November 2007 (UTC)Dark Executioner
Alright he seems to have calmed down, but keep an eye on him. There's just no convincing him that David is not a part of Korn anymore, though! AS long as Korn keeps finding good replacements for David, I don't really care, but it is seeming a bit Spinal Tap-ish to me. I appreciate your help - I finally found a Korn fan who isn't an immature pottymouth that knows nothing about the band except for "Twisted Transistor," "Coming Undone" or "Evolution." 2007 Jenkem moral panic
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article 2007 Jenkem moral panic, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Misplaced Pages is not" and Misplaced Pages's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of the page. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 14:10, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry for the template, I didn't realize that you were an experienced editor. Anyway, I prodded it because I think people are more likely to find this information at the main Jenkem article, and that further news should be added there instead of creating a separate article with a title that people aren't as likely to search for. As you know, you have the right to remove the tag if you disagree. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 14:12, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

I Agree...
I agree, Spryde... However, this first came to my attention on Youtube... The Video was from TrueNorth15, one of my subscriptions... That clues that this was a hoax were the links to the left of the video screen, and that when I read the articles, I got the message even more clearly... Huffing the fumes from raw sewage... what crap, if you'll excuse the pun... Michael 15:12, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
Assumptions
Are you assuming that someone who works with skepticism isn't also interested in alternative views or vice-versa? I don't understand your question, I guess. ScienceApologist 18:30, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Certainly people who wish to promote a particular anti-scientific or pseudoscientific idea would find it uncomfortable to share space with someone who was opposed to such promotion, but Misplaced Pages is supposed to be a place where people of different persuasions and opinions can share their ideas. Alternative views seems to be about coordinating the efforts of people who are interested in editing articles about alternative views. It doesn't say that one must be promoting those views in order to be in the project. ScienceApologist 18:36, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
