Heather Hunter

I am so glad you cut this sentence from the Heather Hunter article: "and Wyclef Jean (unknown track for Heather's debut album that didn't make the final release)." Because this was totally sketchy. Don't you think if you had Wyclef Jean in the studio, you'd put that track out? There is still a lot of baloney in this article. K72ndst (talk) 04:23, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Yes probably so.  :-) If there is anything else that sticks out like baloney, will you please let me know?

If you do not mind my asking, do you know or are you related to the persons depicted in this photograph? Coccyx Bloccyx (talk) 22:15, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Busted! That's me. Why do you ask? jk (talk) 23:27, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

Is there a way to permanently turn off these quotes and blog banter? I find it both intrusive and annoying. Coccyx Bloccyx 23:25, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Try adding the following code to User:Coccyx Bloccyx/monobook.css
#siteNoticeBig { display: none; }
#siteNoticeSmall { display: none; }
Then bypass your cache (ctrl+F5 on many browsers). If that doesn't work, replace the helpme template I am turning off--Fuhghettaboutit 23:52, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Chillum

Hi. Just wondering why you made that page redirect to the city Chillum, Maryland? --Where next Columbus? (talk) 19:50, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

Other articles

Can you please suggest what to do with the Shake (cannabis) article? It recently had an unsourced-template birthday (tagged since December 2006). You might also want to take a look at the Blunt (cigar) page as well. Coccyx Bloccyx (talk) 18:49, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

My recommendation: Delete Shake_(cannabis) because Misplaced Pages is not a dictionary for slang. Keep Blunt_(cigar) but possibly rename it to "Marijuana cigar." Although it's a slang term, the article is not simply pointlessly referencing a slang term. It's describing the actual widespread phenomenon of rolling marijuana or other drugs into a cigar. So, it's notable enough to be kept and there are certainly mainstream sources out there. Whether it should be called "blunt" or "marijuana cigar" depends on which term is more widely used by the mainstream. Zenwhat (talk) 19:26, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
I can move the article to Marijuana cigar if you think that is a good idea. I too am having difficulty finding sources to document which term is most popularly used. Coccyx Bloccyx (talk) 21:59, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
I don't know if that's necessary. Like I said, a person would have to dig through the sources to figure out whether "blunt" is a more widely used term than "marijuana cigar." I don't really know. It's hard to tell based on what you find in Google. I'd just leave it be for now until somebody else challenges it. Zenwhat (talk) 22:01, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Your comment on J & C glossary

Greetings. Regarding Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Glossary of Jewish and Christian terms, just wanted to let you know that WP has many glossaries. See Category:Glossaries. I think most people are voting to split the article because of concerns over neutrality and original research (and feasibility) in the comparative approach. Thanks. HG | Talk 21:16, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

I think you're overreacting

You left me a message about my 'research post' but all I did was revert your deletion....

Please be a bit more careful and clear in your posts on people's talk pages. --Nahome (talk) 01:30, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
