Fair use rationale for Image:Crest3.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Crest3.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Misplaced Pages constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Fat Joe discography

Well, it seems it was fixed. I mean, I see no trouble in the chart. In the history, an anonymous user seemed to have fixed it. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 01:42, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Fat Joe. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Chamillionaire Mixtape Messiah 4 Cover.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Chamillionaire Mixtape Messiah 4 Cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 20:25, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Fat Joe

Why did you remove my image? It is also a free image. Rappingwonders (talk) 20:29, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Well, even if that's the case, it's a little bit like vandalism to remove mine from the infobox and not put it onto another part of the article. Rappingwonders (talk) 20:36, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi Anthony, that pic was an obvious copyvio. Every image from that uploader was found on the internet - see User talk:Pakicheck2#Images. Spellcast (talk) 22:40, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

No problem. Chances are, a better quality pic will eventually be added. Spellcast (talk) 22:45, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 22:44, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Hey! Nothing much is going on over here. I've just seen your user name around on some Packer's page so I thought you may be interested in the Packers WikiProject. Any help on any page would be great! If you need any help or want some collaboration on a certain article you can contact any member, the project talk page, or me! Keep up the good work and good luck editing!
Gonzo fan2007 06:56, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
Yeah sadly there are a lot of Packers articles that need work done. That's why I reactivated the WikiProject, so maybe some of these articles can be improved and the overall content coverage is better. Feel free to go to the talk page of the WikiProject if you need any help or run into a snag. There will always be someone there to help out. Keep up the good work and good luck editing!

On dealing with vandals

As is noted at WP:VANDAL, the first step in dealing with vandalism is to warn the user about their contact. Since that was not done, I went ahead and warned the user.

Had the vandalism been severe, then an immediate block might have been warranted. In this case, it's not: the vandalism is not that severe, it's not that recent (nearly two hours old now), and the user had not gotten any warnings before.

As the instructions at WP:AIV say, make sure a user has gotten a final warning before reporting the vandalism there. —C.Fred (talk) 01:50, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Right. Warnings escalate, from level 1 to level 4. If somebody's gotten a level 4 warning (stop or you'll be blocked) and they keep doing it, that's when you report them. The cheat sheet of standard warnings messages is WP:TUSER, if that helps for your reference. —C.Fred (talk) 02:01, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi, the recent edit you made to More Money has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. RFPP for Fat Joe

I semi-protected the article for an additional month. Your request was overlooked because you added it to the wrong section. You were adding it to the Fullfilled/denied Requests section, which are automatically cleaned by a bot. You need to add new requests to the Current requests for protection section. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:38, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Re your message: No problem. =) Luckily, I caught your second repost before the bot swept it again. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:44, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
