College Hill is a reality television series on Black Entertainment Television that visits historically black colleges. The show operates on the same premise as MTV's The Real World in following the lives of young adults living together. However, it also focuses specifically on life at a historically black institution of higher learning.
Season Information
The first season premiered January 28, 2004 at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The second season from 2005 was at Langston University in Langston, Oklahoma.
The third season premiered in March of 2006 and was at Virginia State University in Ettrick, Virginia (near Petersburg in the Richmond area).
The fourth season premiered in March of 2007 and was at the University of the Virgin Islands on the island of St. Thomas, in the Charlotte Amalie area.
BET had a second College Hill season in Fall 2007. The fifth season was a spin-off of The Apprentice show entitled College Hill Interns; it premiered on BET on October 23rd 2008. The season was filmed in Chicago, Illinois and centered around a group of students working together in a summer internship.
On March 11th 2008, the fifth season of College Hill will premiere about Atlanta, GA.This season features students from Georgia State University, Clark Atlanta University, University of West Georgia, and Morehouse College. These four universities make up the Atlanta University Center.
