Revision as of 01:08, 14 March 2008

Welcome to my talk page. Here you can leave any messages you want for me. I don't reply on this page however, and will post a reply on your own talk page (unless you don't have one or I wish to leave a message for other readers as well). To make it easier for me, please have a talk link in your signature.

Also now I'm in regular service with the Israel Defense Forces, which means I may not be able to reply quickly.

Also, while I accept or even welcome criticism (as you can see, there's some on the page), I will delete any personal attacks. Please don't bother.

Image:Jaffa-jerusalem railway.png

Thank you very much for posting this map.

However, I wanted to note that from Lod you note the old Eastern railway line as "unused". This is not so in practice as while that line no longer reaches Hadera from Lod, it does go all the way to Kfar Saba. So I think marking it as 'unused', at least from Lod, is incorrect. North of Kfar Saba it is unused, but south of it, it is definitely in usage. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikiliki (talkcontribs) 04:04, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for correcting the map. However, according to your own ledgend, the Lod-Rosh Ha'ayin line should have been drawn in red or purple as it is quite often used by frieght trains and empty passenger trains.

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Relentless.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Relentless.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Misplaced Pages:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Misplaced Pages policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:21, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Keigun uniform.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Keigun uniform.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Misplaced Pages constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Project FMF (talk) 23:02, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

List of Bleach locations

Bleh my internet connection has been very unreliable recently. Although it has been a month since that AFD and discussion, I was under the assumption that most people wanted it to be merged into Bleach settings in the main article. I personally thought that would bring up a lot of clutter, so I suggested to merge it to a new article, List of Bleach locations, but most didn't see it that way here. Most manga and anime series usually have an article like that because usually a single article for a specific place cannot stand alone. Then there is a problem with Karakura Town. Some admin deleted it, based on the number of votes, so all the information is gone there. Now somebody else has merged everything into the Bleach (manga)#setting area, giving the main article too many copyrighted images and it might lose its GA status because of that, plus making everything untidy and cluttered.--Hanaichi 02:14, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

IDF Spokesperson's Unit

Just wanted to let you know that I agree with your deletion of the IP added info in IDF Spokesperson's Unit. In the very least it was written in an un-encyclopedic way without sources, and at the worst it was a major copyvio. Joshdboz (talk) 02:21, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Esperanto stamp

Thanks for the tip at Talk:Postage stamps and postal history of Israel, I left you a question there. Kol tuv, HG | Talk 03:48, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Hey, how's it going? But you didn't even notice that I found a source?! Look again. Cheers, HG | Talk 10:33, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Template:User IDF

A tag has been placed on Template:User IDF requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Bleach character cleanup

I've started a discussion over cleanup of the Bleach characters here. Comments would be appreciated. Cheers, Sephiroth BCR 03:52, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Arad Visitor Center

Actually I will like to see a reference that "Arad Visitor Center" is a tourist information centre. I think a google book search will be helpful. I know it is not controversial information, but reference makes an article complete and it looks good. Do you have any book related to tourism which describe this fact. If it is possible to give a reference on this, it will be good. Thanks. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 16:28, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for that-do you know of any to add or where I can find a source for them? Flymeoutofhere (talk) 21:06, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for that - sorry - I meant a source for additional proposed buildings/updates - where do you think is best. Flymeoutofhere (talk) 21:54, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks again for that information. This is just an idea but could we ask some of the people in those forums to add info onto here. Do you think that is a good idea? Flymeoutofhere (talk) 18:51, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
OK - will do so. Flymeoutofhere (talk) 20:00, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
