Vis Medicatrix Naturae

"If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much, we would have found the safest way to health." Hippocrates (460 B.C. – 370 B.C.)

" “The Art of Medicine consists in entertaining the patient while Nature cures the disease. Voltaire (1694-1778)

The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest her or his patients in the care of the human frame, in a proper diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease. Thomas A. Edison (1847 - 1931)

I am a chiropractic doctor and kinesiologist who practices manual medicine and supportive therapies to rehabilitate and optimize the neuromusculoskeletal system while improving health and wellbeing. I am committed to evidence-based practice standards, embrace research into conservative and complementary therapies. I have obtained additional certifications in medical acupuncture, ergonomics and am a certified strength and conditioning specialist. I favour a holistic, natural, patient-centered approach to health care and wellness based on the best evidence and clinical experience.

  • I believe in integrated medicine so that patients can benefit from the expertise of both conventional and complementary approaches.
  • I believe in the necessity of both qualitative and quantitative research to advance our knowledge of the body and our experience as human beings.
  • I believe in objective, scientific skepticism as a means of increasing my understanding of myself and my environment.
  • I believe in collaborating with others who morally obey the spirit and the law of editing wikipedia articles.

You scored as Idealist

Idealism centers around the belief that we are moving towards something greater. An odd mix of evolutionist and spiritualist, you see the divine within ourselves, waiting to emerge over time. Many religious traditions express how the divine spirit lost its identity, thus creating our world of turmoil, but in time it will find itself and all things will again become one.
