	The Baseball Channel is the tentative name for ]'s planned television channel, devoted solely to baseball. It is scheduled to begin broadcasting in 2009.

	As part of the negotiations surrounding the ] TV package, both ] and ] (owned by a consortium of major cable companies) were granted partial ownership in the planned network.
