Don't Add Rubbish Information! -Adri K.-

I saw someone added information that Buffon and Ibrahimovic (he wrote 'Ibraimovic') will join Milan. He added those two names at the bottom of 'In' list in transfer section. I've deleted it.

List of Famous Former Players

The list should be alphabatized by players' last names. The way it is set up now, they are listed by country, then alphabatized, but the way the countries are listed follows no rhyme or reason.~~Kane 7/10/06

No, that's not my point. What I was trying to ask is: Edgar Davids and Clarence Seedorf, both from Suriname. They have never played for Suriname, but they still have two flags. Jose Altafini played for both Brazil and Italy, but he only have one flag.

I agree with the removal; and seeing as how there is no "documentation" here as to why the removal was good, I'll forward the following: The content is very opinionated and lacks justification (i.e. citation from a respectable source). That's about football culture. Neither Inter or Milan fans denies about that, is part of their history. Now, what do you want? a table about the percentages of left wing fans in the team? Info about supporters were true (and can be verified on the Italian wikipedia). However, it would be better to add a supporters section like the ones of english clubs (e.g. Manchester Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea). – Luxic 16:56, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Whoa... innecesary information?. I'm sure the one who made that deletion has never put a foot on a stadium and it's a "TV fan". Every club page should have information about what the members of that club like or why they feel that on their teams. It's valuable information for the true football fan who likes to know about real and important history of the clubs, aside of wich famous player played there. Milan is not 3rd but 2nd in number of club supporters in Italy as erroneous stated in the main wikipedia Milan page

As written in a more recent article (august 2007) of La Repubblica, and as already written in an other article of Misplaced Pages (associazione calcio milan), the supporters of ac milan are more than the inter ones.

Here is what is written in the wikipedia article:

Team Colours Wrong

The home shorts are black they are only usually white to prevent a kit clash (on derby day for example)

I have removed this image from the article, and placed it in here for now. Partly because the image does not show Kaka actually scoring against Manchester United as stated in the comment. It's been reviewed a long time ago following a request by a huge AC Milan fan, and unanimously rejected. This article has actually worsened with time following an improvement I made some time ago. grammar, plurality

This page has some grammatical problems. The most obvious one, to me, is the change in plurality of “AC Milan.” Personally, I would say the term is singular, but it is often given plural verbs. Maybe there’s an inconsistency with American/European spellings, but regardless it should at least be consistent. For example:

"Associazione Calcio Milan… is an Italian professional football club…. AC Milan have won 18 officially recognised international titles… The club have won what is today known as the UEFA Champions League on seven occasions… AC Milan is the second most successful club with 17 league titles; only Juventus have won more (27)."

I tried to fix this problem a few weeks ago but the article was reverted within the day, so obviously someone disagrees with me. Please explain yourself.Panda bearx (talk) 06:59, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Ignazio Abate is a midfielder

This is something that should be corrected. For a while he was a forward. I did edit this section making the change but someone keeps changing it back. He is considered a winger, a position on the midfield. You can even see this by going to his page. He's a winger that plays on the right... making him a midfielder... not a forward. Ronaldinho

I understand some editors on here are ANGRY that Ronaldinho has signed for Milan. He has signed officially for Milan. This is fact. All is pending is a medical. He is a Milan player and an agreement was reached OFFICIALLY by both Barcelona and Milan. You can check ACMilan.com and FCBarcelona's website.

Reality is when a player has signed the contract. Until then, we wait for the official signing announcement per WP:CRYSTAL. Someone said the same words about Lilian Thuram; he already signed a contract, but then he failed the medical. That website is maintained by the guys who organize the Serie A tournament, so when a transfer is finalized and the contract is registered, it is listed there: Antonini is a co-ownership resolution, not a full transfer, and is therefore listed in a different section .
