::::Of course it was my POV, what other POV would I have about your closure? In my view it was a poor rationale (and I have read it several times) and I stand by that. If you feel the eventual closure vindicates your decision to NAC, then fine. Note that I accepted your close: I did not ask for it to be reopened, I did not comment again in the AfD when it was reopened and I had no plans to take it to DRV. In fact I did not even !vote to delete the article in the first place! I have no general problems with articles on high schools and I am not a deletionist on high school articles. Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Redbank Plains State High School

Hello, I reverted your closure of this afd. I provided an explanation on the page. Jerry delusional ¤ kangaroo 02:41, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

If you bothered to read the closing decision that I offered, you will have noticed that there were two reasons for my NAC -- the second reason, which you ignored, was the fact the AfD nominator complained about a no-sourced article and another editor provided more than enough reliable sources to confirm its notability. Coupled with the fact this was heading in a unanimous Keep (which included statements by other editors that supported the notability of the subject matter), I believe my judgment was correct. I stand by my NAC as being a proper decision. Ecoleetage (talk) 03:15, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
For the record, this AfD was closed again by an other admin about one hour after my NAC was improperly reverted. I consider this to be a vindication of my judgment. Ecoleetage (talk) 03:45, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
I am sorry if you were offended by my comments, but if you wish to make non-admin closures, expect criticism of your actions. If you find criticism of your actions "insulting" then perhaps you should not be performing admin-like activities. Regards, Mattinbgn\ 06:54, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
When someone offers "criticism," I expect them to know what they are talking about. You obviously misread the NAC rationale and passed judgment based on your POV on the notability of high schools. As I stated earlier, my judgment has been confirmed. Thank you and be well. Ecoleetage (talk) 11:04, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

(see Our own school) I don't even disagree with the decision to keep the article. Its just that the "inherant notability" argument that you (at least partly) relied upon is bogus and should not be used to close AfDs as it is abundantly clear that it does not have consensus per WP:SCHOOLS. Re: FYI on COI

Hi Eco! I want to thank you about your message. I didn't know that kind of rule, and I can't find it in wikipedia Italy. (I don't also know if this way of contacting you is right... I hate technology!) I am in the O.U.C.H Italy, and me and my group, helped by 2 neurologist, decided to write "Cefalea a Grappolo" because no one in Italy did before. I am in the Scientific Commitee of the Ouch and I tried to be more scientific as possible (I'm not a doctor). Now I'm trying to write the sources, and it's very difficult... Hope to talk to you soon, and thank thank thank you!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by JudeOUCH (talkcontribs) 07:36, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Message from Eco: If anyone is reading this page, please take a few minutes to read this DYK-honoured article -- it is an extraordinary slice of history that deserves to be told. I am sharing this DYK with Poeticbent and Piotrus and I am very glad that we worked together to bring this article to the project. Thanks! Ecoleetage (talk) 10:48, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
