Username

Hello,

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Misplaced Pages's username policy for the following reason: Your username contains the word "admin" which is prohibited by the username policy.. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

It wasn't quite approved, it was simply not actioned. I've opened a new RFCN here: Misplaced Pages:Requests for comment/User names#Adminster, where your participation is encouraged. –xeno (talk) 19:33, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

At the RFCN I suggested Addminster (talk · contribs) as a suggested compromise. Everyone else believes this is a simple way to solve the issue with possible misunderstandings with the name. You are engaging in an edit war. It's not appropriate, and your use of offensive comments in articles is especially not appropriate. Then don't make so many offensive comments there! Did it ever occur to you that your pointless comments here are rude and offensive? You drip with anger and hate, like a fresh-fried squirrel. Stay away from the dark side! My Kindergarten teacher taught me something just a few short years ago. It went something like this: "Do unto others as you..."
