'''Aelita Schaeffer''' (voiced by ]) is the youngest in the group and the more naive one of the five, having had comparatively less experience with the real world than her friends. Thought to be an ] within Lyoko for the first two seasons. She is the daughter of Franz Hopper, who designed both the supercomputer and Xana. She manages to settle into her new life by the start of the third season, making more jokes and generally being less naive, and more reflected in her combat skills. Aelita is also capable of running the supercomputer in the event that Jeremie cannot. On Earth, her full name is Aelita Stones. In "Wrong Exposure" it is revealed that Aelita's true last name is Schaeffer, but that her father had changed it to Hopper, her mother's maiden name, to make a fresh start (she was naturally born on earth instead of Lyoko; she was put into Lyoko by Franz Hopper to protect her from Government agents, making her truly about 22 years old, as Jeremie pointed out in "Wrong Exposure".) But later X.A.N.A attacked Aelita and stole the keys from her and she forgot her childhood life from when she was from earth.

==History==
In ], Aelita was 12 years old, meaning she was likely born in either ] or ]. Her father, Franz Hopper, was a science teacher at Kadic.
Upon the Government arriving at his home, he took Aelita and himself to a "world where they would be safe" (Lyoko). Upon arriving at the factory, they both virtualized on Lyoko, where Aelita had a full form, but Franz appeared as a bubble, and they were attacked by XANA, and Aelita was told to go into a tower. The Supercomputer was then shut down somehow for at least a decade until Jeremie Belpois turned it back on while looking for parts at a factory. When he met Aelita, he thought she was an A.I., and named her "Maya" Once the other Lyoko warriors came on lyoko, and she entered a Tower again in order to deactivate it, she discovered her true name was Aelita. For a long period of time after that ('''The Trap''' was their 1 year anniversary of meeting Aelita, so it was likely over one year), Jeremie was sworn to bring Aelita to the real world, still unaware that she was a human. When she was finally materialized on Earth, she had no memory whatsoever of her previous life on Earth, and appeared as she did back in 1994, as there is no aging process on Lyoko. She began to re-discover Earth, and lived with ] for a short period of time before they were able to get her to Kadic Academy under the name "Aelita Stones" (though Yumi told her parents Aelita's last name was "Lyoko"), and posed as the ] of ], and Jeremie made a fake birth certificate.
==Appearance==
Aelita's hair is pink on Lyoko and in the real world as well. Aelita wears two main outfits throughout the series. Her daytime outfit in the first season is a maroon skirt, yellow shirt and pink jacket. She wears a dark pink jumper dress over a light pink hooded long sleeved shirt and dark pink knee boots for the second and third season. In the fourth season, her outfit consists of a dark purple dress that comes to her knees and light pink Quarter length leggings underneath. Her boots are a deep red. Her night clothes consist of white socks and an over sized pink t-shirt with a red letter A on the front.

She wears two different outfits depending on the season. For the first three seasons, Aelita's outfit consists of a pink mini skirt and a matching top that go over trousers and a long shirt that are both off-white, and matching shoes. She also has elf-like ears, with a small dangle earring in the left one. Her eyes are green. In the fourth season, Aelita receives a new pink form-fitting suit on Lyoko, which has a pair of retractable energy wings that enable Aelita to fly.

==Personality and Traits==
Her main interest is music, specifically audio mixing. Her childhood memories show that Franz Hopper taught her to play the piano at an early age. In the fourth season, she wins a contest to star in one of the ]' concerts, which she did in "Music to Soothe the Savage Beast". She, like Jeremie, is also a capable programmer and an excellent student.

==Lyoko==
Aelita's main power on Lyoko is her creativity, which allows her to alter small portions of Lyoko's terrain at will. She can use the same power to create clones of herself, though they have limited functionality, acting in a pre-determined manner. Aelita also has the power to deactivate the towers on Lyoko, the main component in stopping Xana's attacks in the real world. In the third season, Aelita is able to defend herself by generating pink orbs called "Energy Fields", which can destroy any monster on contact, regardless of where they hit. Two energy fields can also be touched together, forming something like a chain that can stop certain attacks (such as a Megatank's shot)

==Trivia==
* Aelita is truly 22 years old, as there is no aging process on Lyoko.
* Aelita and Jeremie have been shown to have a romantic relationship several times throughout the series, most likely since he had put so much time in saving her and bringing her back to Earth.
* Aelita had to pose as ]'s cousin in order to attend Kadic.
* Aelita was at first thought to be a A.I., but was revealed to be a human.
* It is unknown if any other members of her family are alive.

Aelita Schaeffer (voiced by Sharon Mann) is the youngest in the group and the more naive one of the five, having had comparatively less experience with the real world than her friends. Thought to be an A.I within Lyoko for the first two seasons. But later X.A.N.A attacked Aelita and stole the keys from her and she forgot her childhood life from when she was from earth.

History

In 1994, Aelita was 12 years old, meaning she was likely born in either 1981 or 1982. For a long period of time after that (The Trap was their 1 year anniversary of meeting Aelita, so it was likely over one year), Jeremie was sworn to bring Aelita to the real world, still unaware that she was a human. When she was finally materialized on Earth, she had no memory whatsoever of her previous life on Earth, and appeared as she did back in 1994, as there is no aging process on Lyoko. She began to re-discover Earth, and lived with Yumi Ishiyama for a short period of time before they were able to get her to Kadic Academy under the name "Aelita Stones" (though Yumi told her parents Aelita's last name was "Lyoko"), and posed as the cousin of Odd Della Robbia, and Jeremie made a fake birth certificate.

Aelita's hair is pink on Lyoko and in the real world as well. Aelita wears two main outfits throughout the series. Her daytime outfit in the first season is a maroon skirt, yellow shirt and pink jacket. Personality and Traits

Her main interest is music, specifically audio mixing. Her childhood memories show that Franz Hopper taught her to play the piano at an early age. In the fourth season, she wins a contest to star in one of the Subdigitals' concerts, which she did in "Music to Soothe the Savage Beast". She, like Jeremie, is also a capable programmer and an excellent student.
