Plot

Five workers from the Pegasus Auto Garage discover Dappu, an alien from another planet. Gekisou Sentai Carranger

"Fighting for traffic safety! Gekisou Sentai Ca-a-a-a-arranger!" (戦う交通安全!激走戦隊!カー~レンジャー!, Tatakau kotsu anzen! Gekisou Sentai! Caaaaaranger!)

The Carrangers consist of five employees at the 'Pegasus Auto Garage. Advertisements for the series show that the first kana in the Carangers' names spell "automobile" (「じ・ど・う・し・ゃ」(自動車), "Ji・Do・U・Shi・Ya" (jidōsha)) in Japanese.

  • Kyousuke Jinnai (陣内 恭介, Jinnai Kyōsuke) / Red Racer (レッドレーサー, Reddo Rēsā) is 23 years old. He is a test driver at the Pegasus auto garage, normally only assigned to do errands and odd jobs. Kyousuke is originally insensitive enough to abandon his team because he wants to drive his boss's classic car. Soon, though, Kyousuke realized that he had a responsibility as Carranger leader and became very conscientious, although the role of leader sometimes gets to him and he is overwhelmed by the stress of being responsible for the team. He fell in love with Zonnette, although at first she only loves his Red Racer alter ego, and is eventually able to confess his love to her. He is a very brave, heroic man who was willing to risk his life to fight as Kyousuke and not Red Racer to prove his love for Zonnette.
    • Formula Weapon: Fender Sword (フェンダーソード, Fendā Sōdo)
    • Special attack: Driving Attack (ドライビングアタック, Doraibingu Atakku) (A flying punch)
  • Naoki Domon (土門 直樹, Domon Naoki) / Blue Racer (ブルーレーサー, Burū Rēsā) is the youngest and smartest of the team, 17 years old and very polite and shy. He works as a car designer at Pegasus Garage. Naoki is also an animal lover.
    • Formula Weapon: Muffler Guns (マフラーガン, Mafurā Gan)
    • Special attacks: Hairpin Kick (ヘアピンキック, Heapin Kikku) (A spinning roundhouse kick) , Hyper Hairpin Kick (ハイパーヘアピンキック, Haipā Heapin Kikku) (A flying somersaulting kick), Passing Flash (パッシングフラッシュ, Passhingu Furasshu) (A blinding flash from Blue Racer's helmet headlights)
  • Minoru Uesugi (上杉 実, Uesugi Minoru) / Green Racer (グリーンレーサー, Gurīn Rēsā) is the oldest of the team, 24 years old, and a bungling salesman at Pegasus. He once loses the bracelet portion of the Accel Changer (and thus the Green Racer powers) while practicing victory poses after a fight. Minoru speaks with Osaka-ben.
    • Formula Weapon: Engine Cannon (エンジンキャノン, Enjin Kyanon)
    • Special attack: error: {{nihongo}}: Japanese or romaji text required (help) (Green Racer skims along the ground face-down and sweeps his enemy over)
  • Natsumi Shinohara (志乃原 菜摘, Shinohara Natsumi) / Yellow Racer (イエローレーサー, Ierō Rēsā) is 19 years old. A genius mechanic at Pegasus Garage, Natsumi is able to fix any machine in minutes. She uses a legendary wrench given to her by the owner of a garage she visited as a child, but later learns she can still fix anything without the wrench.
    • Formula Weapon: Side Knuckles (サイドナックル, Saido Nakkuru)
    • Special attacks: error: {{nihongo}}: Japanese or romaji text required (help) (A flying chop similar to waving a checkered flag), error: {{nihongo}}: Japanese or romaji text required (help) (Yellow Racer runs around an enemy vehicle and dismantles it in seconds)
  • Youko Yagami (八神 洋子, Yagami Yōko) / Pink Racer (ピンクレーサー, Pinku Rēsā) is 19 years old. She is secretary at Pegasus Garage, calculating the expenses and payroll. Youko is very self-conscious about her weight because she loves to eat sweets, and frequently consults magazine fortune-telling articles to predict her future. She dreams of becoming an idol someday and marrying a rich husband, and has a terrible sense of direction.
    • Formula Weapon: Bumper Bow (バンパーボゥ, Banpā Bō)
    • Special attacks: Wheel Spin Kick (ホイルスピンキック, Hoiru Supin Kikku) (Pink Racer rolls along the ground and delivers an upward kick from below the enemy), Wheel Spin Shield (ホイルスピンシールド, Hoiru Supin Shīrudo) (Pink Racer spins in mid-air, creating a shield that deflects enemy attacks), Pink Flying Attack (ピンクフライングアタック, Pinku Furaingu Atakku) (A jumping punch), Pink Giant Swing (ピンクジャイアントスウィング, Pinku Jaianto Suwingu) (Pink Racer grabs her enemy by the legs, swings him in a circle, and tosses him into something hard, like a rock face), Pink Bomb Punch (ピンク爆弾パンチ, Pinku Bakudan Panchi) (A powerful uppercut punch), Bi Blade Returning Wiper (バイブレードおかえしワイパー, Bai Burēdo Okaeshi Waipā) (Pink Racer spins her Bi Blade like a fan, which can deflect projectile attacks)

Allies

Hazardians

Aliens from Planet Hazard, which was destroyed by the Bowzock prior to turning their attention to Earth.

  • Hazardian Dappu (ダップ, Dappu): One of the few survivors of planet Hazard, which was destroyed by the Bowzock. He is the keeper of the 'Kurumagic' (a pun on Kuruma (car) and Magic) power, which he gives to the five Pegasus employees. The Carrangers' power is dependent on their friendship with Dappu. Through about episode 18, he wore a cloak, until the events of that episode forced him into Earth-style clothes.
  • VRV Master (VRVマスター, Bui Aru Bui Masutā): Known as the "Lone Wolf of Space" (宇宙の一匹狼, Uchuu no ippiki ookami), he appeared suddenly while Dappu was in the hibernation that his race goes into. He gave the Carrangers the VRV Machines after the RV Robo had been stolen by Bowzock. It was later revealed that the VRV Master was Dappu's father. He was addicted to coffee milk, which was the reason why he wasn't in hibernation himself.

Signal Family

Robotic people from the Police Planet.

  • SignalMan (シグナルマン, Shigunaruman): An intergalactic robotic police officer assigned to Earth, and something of a Sixth Ranger figure. He is from the Police Planet, where he left behind his wife Sigue, and son Sigtarou. He can sometimes be more of a hindrance than a help to the Carrangers, because of his intense training in the rules of traffic. He briefly left Earth and returned to his homeworld to spend time with his family only to find that it was polluted by five-colored exhaust created by Exhaus to warp SignalMan's mind. Deceived that the Carrangers were behind it, he went back to Earth to perform police brutality on them, and sort of became the new leader of the Bowzock. Fortunately, the Carrangers managed to restore their friend to normal by tricking him into drinking natural mineral water. SignalMan can usually be seen operating from the Kobaan Base (コバーンベース, Kōban Bēsu), a small Police booth, which can be nearly everywhere in Japan (except places where people might actually pass it...).
    • Signal Weapon: Signizer (シグナイザー, Shigunaizā), SignalMan's badge, has three modes, a recording device, Police Baton Mode (ポリスバトンモード, Porisu Baton Mōdo), and Gun Mode (ガンモード, Gan Mōdo), in which form he usually shoots enemies in the knees to incapacitate them without using lethal force. It can also call the PoliSpeeder.
  • Sigue (イグエ, Shigue): SignalMan's wife, from whom he is separated.
  • Sigtarou (シグタロウ, Shigutarō): SignalMan's son, who got sick from the five-colored exhaust created by Exhaus, but soon got well by also drinking natural mineral water.

Tenma Family

A family involved in the Carrangers' lives. The father is the owner of the Pegasus Garage where the gang works, and his son befriended Signalman.

  • Souichirou Tenma (天馬 総一郎, Tenma Sōichirō): Owner of the Pegasus Garage.
  • Yoshie Tenma (天馬 良江, Tenma Yoshie): Souichirou's wife.
  • Ichitarou Tenma (天馬 市太郎, Tenma Ichitarō): Souichirou's son, who is close friends with SignalMan.

Others

"Dreamy traffic safety! Gekisou Shoujo White Racer!"

  • Radietta Fanbelt (ラジエッタ・ファンベルト, Rajietta Fanberuto) / White Racer (ホワイトレーサー, Howaito Rēsā): The younger sister of Zonnette, and a huge Carranger fan. With magic, she dons an outfit modeled after the Carrangers (to the point of having the number six as an identifier) and calls herself "White Racer". She drives the Radiacar which can become a robot, but for only one minute. First aided Carrangers against the Zokurangers, able to shapeshift. Calls Red Racer "big brother" because of his love for Zonnette. Transforms by saying "Tiramisu, konjac, mille-feuille".
    • Weapon: Riddle Bombs (謎々爆弾, Nazonazo Bakudan), Volleyball-sized explosives that detonate if the enemy who catches it does not know the answer to White Racer's riddles.
  • Speed King Max (スピード王マックス, Supīdo Ō Makkusu) (9): The "Speed King of Space", who was brainwashed/deformed by a super-soaker created by Grotch. Since then, he became KK Esu (クークーエス, Kū Kū Esu) the Bowzock's best dish washer. He could blast lasers from his oversized eye and create an ear-piercing "squeaky clean" hurricane. Once he returned to his original self, he died protecting Dappu from Zelmonda.
  • Chouriki Sentai Ohranger: First met by Jinnai when Hoshino and Yokkaichi found and cornered Bara Mobile, the last known Machine-Beast. After Bara Mobile shows his injuries to Jinnai, he believed that Bara Moblie was the victim and that, as long as he is not a Bowzock, he is not an enemy. This upsets the OHRangers at first and they begin to battle against the Carrangers as Red Racer tries to take Bara Mobile to safety. After a few explanations, Red Racer realizes his mistake as Bara Mobile explained why the OHRangers were after him. But Hoshino was kidnapped, and the Carrangers were put through a military training course by Miura. The reason at first he did this was that he believed the Carrangers were not serious in their work, much to Jinnai's embarrassment on his team's part when they thought Miura was joking. Miura soon after the training believed the Carrangers are ready to help, he sends them in OHRangerRobo to the Bowzock base to rescue OHRed. After the rescue, the OHRangers and Carrangers, along with SignalMan, finally kill Bara Mobile, SS Statanzo, and the Norishiron Extra. Both teams then celebrated at the end of the day.
  • Denji Sentai Megaranger: The Carrangers came along to help the Megarangers when they were dealing with both Helmedor and Crab-Nejilar.

Arsenal

  • Accel Changer (アクセルチェンジャー, Akuseru Chenjā): The transformation device of the Carrangers. It is a brace that uses an Accel Key (アクセルキー, Akuseru Kī) to activate, like an automobile ignition switch. The transformation call is "Racing! Accel Changer" (激走!アクセルチェンジャー, Gekisō! Akuseru Chenjā).
  • Navick Blaster (ナビックブラスター, Nabikku Burastā): A combination of the Auto Punisher and the Car Navick. Its shots seek out their target, and are three times more powerful than the Auto Punisher.
    • Auto Blaster (オートブラスター, Ōto Burasutā): The Carrangers' standard sidearm. When a catch is pulled, it expands out and generates stronger shots, becoming the Auto Punisher (オートパニッシャー, Ōto Panisshā).
    • Car Navick (カーナビック, Kā Nabikku): Used to find something. Can transform into a gun, Navick Shot (ナビックショット, Nabikku Shotto), which fires homing blasts.
  • ViBlade (バイブレード, Bai Burēdo): A sword that all the Carrangers possess. The handle on the hilt can be pulled, giving the sword additional power through rapid vibration.
  • Giga Formula (ギガフォーミュラー, Giga Fōmyurā): Made from their individual weapons, it initially appears as a car, and can transform into the Formula Nova (フォーミュラーノバ, Fōmyurā Noba), the team's finishing cannon.
  • Giga Booster (ギガブースター, Giga Būsutā): The Carrangers' auxiliary weapon. It initially appears as a car, and can transform into a cannon, Booster Cannon (ブースターキャノン, Būsutā Kyanon), or a jet, Booster Jet (ブースタージェット, Būsutā Jetto). It can be attached to the Dragon Cruiser.

Vehicles

  • Speeder Machines (スピーダーマシン, Supīdā Mashin): Go-karts that serve as transportation for the Carrangers before the Legendary Cars arrived. They are docked inside the Ranger Vehicles, to serve as cockpits.
    • Red Speeder 1 (レッドスピーダー1, Reddo Supīdā 1): Red Racer's Speeder Machine. Was equipped with the Speeder Gun (スピーダーガン, Supīdā Gan).
    • Blue Speeder 2 (ブルーススピーダー1, Burū Supīdā 2): Blue Racer's Speeder Machine. Was not equipped with a weapon, but was the fastest of the Speeder Machines.
    • Green Speeder 3 (グリーンスピーダー1, Gurīn Supīdā 3): Green Racer's Speeder Machine. Was equipped with the Speeder Missile (スピーダーミサイル, Supīdā Misairu).
    • Yellow Speeder 4 (イエロースピーダー1, Ierō Supīdā 4): Yellow Racer's Speeder Machine. Was equipped with two sawblades called the Speeder Cutters (スピーダーカッター, Supīdā Kattā).
    • Pink Speeder 5 (ピンクスピーダー1, Pinku Supīdā 5): Pink Racer's Speeder Machine. Was equipped with the Speeder Radar (スピーダーレーダー, Supīdā Rēdā).
  • Polispeeder (ポリスピーダー, Porisupīdā): Signalman's personal police bike. It can travel through outer space, and has some degree of intelligence.
  • Radiacar (ラジエッカー, Rajiekkaa): Radiatta Fanbelt/White Racer's buggy-like cat-motif vehicle.
  • Wild Cars (野生の車, Yasei no Kuruma): Two vehicles who were confined within a meteorite by God. They soon became the Carrangers' new means of transportation.
    • Pegasus Thunder (ペガサスサンダー, Pegasasu Sandā): One of the two "Wild Cars". A red fourth generation Chevy Camaro that was confined within a meteorite by God along with Dragon Cruiser. Able to act on its own. It is able to fly and it is equipped with lasers, the Pegasus Laser (ペガサスレーザー, Pegasasu Rēzā). It also has the finishing attack Pegasus Final Burning (ペガサスファイナルバーニング, Pegasasu Fainaru Bāningu) (A barrage of deadly energy blasts). Used by Red & Pink Racer.
    • Dragon Cruiser (ドラゴンクルーザー, Doragon Kurūzā): The other of the two "Wild Cars". A blue Jeep that was confined within a meteorite by God along with Pegasus Thunder. Can act on its own. Armed with the Dragon Claw (ドラゴンクロー, Doragon Kurō) winch, and Giga Booster can be mounted on top. Used by Blue, Green & Yellow Racer.

KuruMagic Mecha

Some of the mecha in the series were created by Dappu, while some were brought to Earth by SignalMan and VRV Master.

  • Scramble Intersection Robo (スクランブル交差ロボ, Sukuranburu Kōsa Robo): The RV and VRV Robos interchange their limbs with the command "Super Emergency Fusion!" (スーパー緊急合体!, Supā Kinkyū Gattai!). The robot formed with the RV Robo's torso and the VRV Robo's limbs can use the Victrailer weaponry, and the Victory Twister finishing attack.
    • Ranger Vehicles (レンジャービークル, Renjā Bīkuru): Car-like mecha created by Dappu when he infused his Kurumagic power into the Carranger's dream cars. They are normally stored at Pegasus Garage until the command "Ranger Vehicles!" is given. When the command "Racing Fusion!" (激走合体!, Gekisō Gattai!) is given, the five vehicles link up to form RV Robo (RVロボ, Aru Bui Robo), who uses the RV Sword (RVソード, Aru Bui Sōdo) as its primary weapon in its Violent Dash Cut (激走斬り, Gekisō Kiri), where the robot "spins" while dashing towards the enemy, slashing though it repeatedly and destroying it, posing as it explodes in the background (making it the first Sentai Robo Sword Attack that does not involve an aura of energy). Also able to use the tire-shaped Radial Shield (ラジアルシールド, Rajiaru Shīrudo) and Plagnade Spark (プラグネードスパーク, Puragunēdo Supāku) energy blast from headlights on chest. Other attacks include Yellow Vehicle Kick, Yellow Vehicle Spin Kick (イエロービークル回転キック, Ierō Bīkuru Kaiten Kikku), Pink Vehicle Punch (ピンクビークルパンチ, Pinku Bīkuru Panchi), and RV Hairpin Kick. Limbs are interchangeable with VRV Robo in order to become the Worldly Billowing-Fast Robo Special. RV Robo was destroyed in the finale, but when the heroes had their party, RV Robo was shown rebullt along with VRV Robo. It also appeared again for Megaranger vs. Carranger, and its power helped to power up GaoKing in Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai.
      • Red Vehicle (レッドビークル, Reddo Bīkuru): Piloted by Red Racer. Race car. Forms the head and chest of RV Robo.
      • Blue Vehicle (ブルービークル, Burū Bīkuru): Piloted by Blue Racer. 4x4 pickup. Forms the body and upper legs of RV Robo. Attack is Regulus Beam.
      • Green Vehicle (グリーンビークル, Gurīn Bīkuru): Piloted by Green Racer. Minivan. Forms RV Robo's lower right leg.
      • Yellow Vehicle (イエロービークル, Ierō Bīkuru): Piloted by Yellow Racer. SUV. Forms RV Robo's lower left leg.
      • Pink Vehicle (ピンクビークル, Pinku Bīkuru): Piloted by Pink Racer. Compact car. Forms RV Robo's arms.
    • Victory Ranger Vehicles (ビクトリーレンジャービークル, Bikutorī Renjā Bīkuru): New vehicles provided by VRV Master when the RV Robo was abducted by Bowzock during Dapp's hibernation. They normally stay in Victrailer until they are needed. They are initially vehicles, the VRV Machines (VRVマシン, Bui Aru Bui Mashin) can turn into individual robots, called VRV Fighters (VRVファイター, Bui Aru Bui Faitā), by the command "Fighter Change!", and combine into the standard giant-robot form, VRV Robo (VRVロボ, Bui Aru Bui Robo), by the command "Certain Victory Fusion!" (必勝合体!, Hisshō Gattai!). VRV Robo uses Victrailer's arms as its twin cannon weapons to perform the Victory Twister (ビクトリーツイスター, Bikutorī Tsuisutā) finishing attack where it fires both cannons at a monster. Also armed with the rarely used V Guns (Vガン, Bui Gan), small laser guns. Limbs are interchangeable with RV Robo in order to become Worldly Billowing-Fast Robo Special. VRV and RV Robo also have a combo final attack called the RV Sword Twister Cutter (RVソードツイスターカッター, Aru Bui Sōdo Tsuisutā Kattā), VRV Robo fires the Victory Twister, which is split into three by RV Robo's Violent Dash Cut. VRV Robo was destroyed in the finale but when the heroes had a party, it was shown rebuilt along with RV robo. V-fire appeared in Gaoranger vs Super Sentai.
      • V-Fire (Vファイヤー, Bui Faiyā): Piloted by Red Racer. Fires high-pressure water from its nozzle. After being destroyed in the finale, VRV Robo was shown rebuilt in the party. it appeared in gaoranger vs super sentai. V-Fire's front end forms Fire Fighter (ファイヤーファイター, Faiyā Faitā)'s chest, revealing the head, and the rear end forms the legs, revealing the arms. Forms VRV Robo's chest and head. Stored in Victrailer's tractor.
      • V-Police (Vポリス, Bui Porisu): Piloted by Blue Racer. Fires a supersonic beam called Police Siren Sonic (ポリスサイレンソニック, Porisu Sairen Sonikku). V-Police's front end becomes Police Fighter (ポリスファイター, Porisu Faitā)'s chest, revealing the head. The front wheel areas form the arms, and the rear end forms the legs. Forms VRV Robo's torso and upper legs. Stored in Victrailer's second trailer, to V-Dozer's right.
      • V-Dump (Vダンプ, Bui Danpu): Piloted by Green Racer. The bucket carries large iron balls, which are dumped in front of enemies to make them slip and fall. V-Dump's cabin end forms Dump Fighter (ダンプファイター, Danpu Faitā)'s back, the bucket forms the feet, and the front wheel forms the arms. Forms VRV Robo's lower right leg. Stored in Victrailer's first trailer, to V-Rescue's left.
      • V-Dozer (Vドーザー, Bui Dōzā): Piloted by Yellow Racer. The spoilers on the back can change into a bulldozer bucket. V-Dozer's front end forms Dozer Fighter (ドーザーファイター, Dōzā Faitā)'s chest, the front wheel areas become the arms, and the rear end becomes the legs with the Dozer buckets as the feet, and the cockpit turns sideways. Forms VRV Robo's lower left leg. Stored in Victrailer's second trailer, to V-Police's left.
      • V-Rescue (Vレスキュー, Bui Resukyū): Piloted by Pink Racer. Fires a giant hypodermic needle. V-Rescue's front wheel areas form Rescue Fighter (レスキューファイター, Resukyū Faitā)'s arms, the rear end forms the legs, and the entire vehicle slits to reveal the head. Forms VRV Robo's arms. Stored in Victrailer's first trailer, to V-Dump's right.
  • Sirender (サイレンダー, Sairendā): SignalMan's personal police cruiser that transforms into a law-enforcement robot when SignalMan says "Stand up! Sirender!" (スタンドアップ! サイレンダー, Sutando Appu! Sairendā). Comes (amidst regular-sized police cars) when SignalMan uses the Signal Whistle (シグナルホイッスル, Shigunaru Hoissuru). In its robot mode it is armed with the Siren Vulcan (サイレンバルカン, Sairen Barukan), a powerful laser gun, the Wappagun (ワッパガン, Wappagan), a handcuff that shoots off on a chain, Siren Daggers (サイレンダガー, Sairen Dagā), blades that extends from the wrists, and Siren Shield (サイレンシールド, Sairen Shīrudo), a riot squad shield. Another weapon is the Signal Flash (シグナルフラッシュ, Shigunaru Furasshu) energy blast, an attack similar to the RV Robo's Plagnade Spark attack. The front end becomes the lower legs (with the windshield as the feet), the rear end becomes the forearms (with the back wheels in front of the lower arms), and the back window becomes the upper back which reveals the head.
  • Victrailer (ビクトレーラー, Bikutorērā): A three-trailer vehicle transport that holds the VRV Machines (some sources say that it can alternatively carry the Ranger Vehicles) until the command "Victrailer Go!" is given. After releasing them, Victrailer "stack-transforms" into a giant robot (The tractor forms the top, the first trailer becomes the middle section, and the second trailer forms the arms and the bottom section), Victrailer Battle Mode (ビクトレーラーバトルモード, Bikutorērā Batoru Mōdo), who serves to provide its arms for VRV Robo to use as weapons in its finisher. They are called the V Bazooka (Vバズーカ, Bui Bazūka) and the V Vulcan (Vバルカン, Bui Barukan). Despite having an appearance similar to the "base-robos" of old, and clearly having the weaponry to hold such a position, it never directly enters combat. Victrailer is stored in VRV Master's headquarters underneath Tokyo Dome when not in use.
  • RadiaCar Robo (ラジエッカーロボ, Rajiekkā Robo): The White Racer's mecha, magically formed out of the Radiacar. Its head somewhat resembles Hello Kitty, and various parts of the robot retain a car-like motif, with the dashboard and steering wheel displayed on the waist, while wheels axle details are visible on the limbs. The Radiacar Robo can only retain this form for one minute.

Villains

  • Reckless Dash Emperor Exhaus (暴走皇帝エグゾス, Bōsōgōtei Eguzosu) (35-48): He is the true villain of the series who hired the Bowzock to do his dirty work. His ultimate plan was to build a giant road for aliens across the Milky Way, and to destroy Earth because it was in the way of the road. Exhaus kidnapped Dappu and tried to drain his Kurumagic Power to use for his own robots, turning it into Akumagic Power, but his plan backfired when Dappu overloaded the robots with power. He betrayed the Bowzock and took over the operation personally, only to fight the Carrangers personally when he absorbed the evil energies of the entire universe into his body to assume a fighting form, Exhaus Super-Strong (エグゾス・スーパーストロング, Eguzosu Sūpā Sutorongu). In this form he seemed unbeatable, destroying both VRV Robo and RV Robo, but was fed stale imo-youkan by Gynamo, causing him to weaken and shrink to human size so he could be finished off by the Carrangers.
  • Space Bōsōzoku Bowzock (宇宙暴走族ボーゾック, Uchū Bōsōzoku Bōzokku): An intergalactic biker gang with no love for the rules of traffic. Hired by Exhaus to pave the way for his highway by, blowing every planet in the way of construction. They have targeted Earth, the last of such planets, for destruction and frequently hang out at the BB Saloon, a bar in the Baribarian spacecraft. After he had absorbed the Carrangers' Carmagic Power, Exhaus set the Baribarian spacecraft on fire and sent it crashing to Earth, only to have it stopped by Sirender and the Carranger in human form take control of it and drove it straight into Exhaus to try and kill him.
    • President Gynamo (総長ガイナモ, Sōchō Gainamo): Leader of the Bowzock, and is madly in love with Zonnette. At the end of the series, he re-opened the fried-meats restaurant that he set up while Ritchiker took over the Bowzock.
    • Beauty Zonnette (美女ゾンネット, Bijo Zonnetto) (1-45, 48): A buxom member of Bowzock who uses her feminine wiles, and Gynamo's crush on her, for her own selfish pleasures. Zonnette drives a pink convertible called the Zonnecar. She fell madly in love with Red Racer after seeing him in action. As time passed she also fell for the man behind the mask. She is RadiaTta's big sister and the princess OF another planet. At the end of the series, she becomes "purified" and resumed her true-form, Vanity Mirror Fanbelt (バニティーミラー・ファンベルト, Banitī Mirā Fanberuto), returning to her home planet for an arranged marriage, though she turns them all down since Red Racer is still in her heart. She returned during the finale and talked Gynamo into teaming up with the Carrangers.
    • Instructor Ritchhiker (リッチハイカー教授, Ritchihaikā Kyōju) (16-31): Briefly hired by Gynamo as his "Evil Director of Human Resources". Ritchhiker served as the mastermind who devised the plans to deal with the Carrangers and SignalMan, who was apparently an old enemy of Ritchhiker's. He was struck by lightning during the Bowzock festival and gained a second form to go with his accidental power boost called RitchRitchhiker (リッチリッチハイカー, RitchiRitchihaikā). With his new power, he kicked out Gynamo and Zonette and took over as leader of the Bowzock. He piloted the Braking in both of its' forms to destroy the Carrangers, but only managed to capture RV Robo before Braking was finally destroyed by VRV Robo, going out in a blaze with its' pilot.
    • Deputy Leader Zelmoda (副長ゼルモダ, Fukuchō Zerumoda): Second in command of the Bowzock, and Gynamo's friend. His main weapon is a sword made up of playing cards. At the end of the series, he and Grotch help work at Gynamo's restaurant while going to elementary school for education.
    • Inventor Grotch (発明家グラッチ, Hatsumeika Guratchi): Bowzock inventor. He is responsible for many of the weapons used by the Bowzock such as the Fattening Spray and Forgetfulness Water-Gun, as well as for picking the imo-youkan, used to make the Bowzock grow. He was the one who discovered the imo-youkan by accident when he once rebelled against the Bowzock, and tried to destroy the Carrangers himself while eating at an Imocho. Fortunately, the imo-youkan he ate had expired and wore off before either he or the Carrangers could do harm to each other. At the end of the series, he and Zelmoda helped work at Gynamo's restaurant while going to elementary school for education.
    • Reckless Driving Squadron Zokuranger (暴走戦隊ゾクレンジャー, Bōsō Sentai Zokurenjā) (25): Notable for being an "Evil Sentai"-parody in a Sentai-parody show, and even had their own theme song - a remix of the Carranger theme. Other than SS Pamaan, the other members were made out of the Gorotsuki that have hung out in the BB Saloon for the entire series. They tossed a ball to each member like J.A.K.Q. and Kakuranger. Grotch gave them their own bazooka called the Zokuren Bazooka, powered by Zonnette's necklace. After SS Pamaan is killed, the others continued helping the Bowzock out the best they could.
      • SS Pamaan (スースーパマーン, Sū Sū Pamān) / "ZokuRed" (ゾクレッド, "Zokkureddo") (25): Bowzock's best hero researcher. He was leader of the Zokuranger, calling himself ZokuRed, usually fought with Red Racer. He wielded a two-laser hole gun and a sword similar to Red Racer's. He was killed by RV Robo while he was saying the name of his sword's final attack, which had a very long name ("Great Galaxy Blitzkrieg Science Darkness Sword: Lightning Blitzkrieg Plasma Cyber Aurora Centrifugal Gravity Super Thunder..." (大銀河電撃科学暗黒剣・稲妻電撃プラズマサイバーオーロラ遠心重力スーパーサンダー..., Dai Ginga Dengeki Kagaku Ankoku Ken Inazuma Dengeki Purazuma Saibā Ōrora Enshin Jūryoku Sūpā Sandā...)), one that referred to several Sentai Robos' final sword attacks from previous series.
      • ZokuBlue (ゾクブルー, Zokuburū): A Gorotsuki who fought with Blue Racer. He fought with a butcher's knife hooked with a chain to a sickle and later wield two guns similar to Blue Racer's weapons.

    • Combatant Wumpers (戦闘員ワンパー, Sentōin Wanpā): The henchmen/grunts. Can shoot ink from their octopus-like mouths. They are contained in Zelmonda's jar, similar to that of aquatic pets. They come in many colors; green, blue, white and pink. White tended to be rarer than others and were often the butt of a quick gag.

BarriCars

Giant car-mecha.

  • Norishiron 12 (ノリシロン12, Norishiron Tuerubu) (37-38, Carranger vs. OHRanger. 46): Piloted by Zelmoda. Created from giant cardboard punchouts from a magazine provided by Exhaus (similar to a real magazine, TV Land, that includes punchout cardboard toys based on Sentai shows) and then made real. Was beating the VRV Robo and Sirender, but retreated when its' arm fell off because Grotch forgot to install an important pin. It reappeared later, helping the giant PP Chiipuri, but was accidentally sprayed with his youth cream and returned to its' cardboard sheets before exploding and being destroyed in the process. Another version of Norishiron called Norishiron Extra (ノリシロン増刊, Norishiron Zōkan) that was red in color and was used only during Carranger vs. Ohranger and was destroyed by Sirender. Norishiron Final (ノリシロン最終, Norishiron Fainaru) was another version of Norishiron repainted black that was used towards the end of the series and was piloted by Gynamo, Zelmoda, and Grotch. Destroyed after a short fight with the VRV Robo.

  • Helmedor (ヘルメドー, Herumedō) (Megaranger vs. Carranger): A Space Biker who wanted to build a motorcycle racing ramp thought the Milky Way, a scheme similar to Exhaus. He teamed up with Shibolena and was eventually taken under her control via a/her magic kiss. Killed by RV Robo.

Gorotsuki

They are chosen to find and fight the Carrangers, based on their talents, and are Bowzock's "monster of the week." When defeated, most of them eat imo-youkan, a yellow cube-shaped food made from jellied sweet potatoes to grow. It has to be from one store, Imocho, for this to happen, otherwise they shrink. As Grotch found out, out-of-date Imo-youkan from Imocho only enlarges the consumer for a short while until he reverts back to original size. Gorotsuki had a habit of saying their names a lot, usually having them at the end of sentences.

  • BB Donpa (ビービードンパ, BīBī Donpa) (2, 9): Bowzock's music conductor. He could make cars fly around as if they were dancing, and planned to make so much noise that aliens would blow up the Earth. His plan backfired; he made so much noise aliens blew him up. In battle, he could blast lasers from the horns on his wrists. He reappeared, slightly modified, in a dream Kyosuke had in episode 9.
  • RR Rii (リーリーリー, RīRī Rī) (3): Bowzock's exorcist. He wielded a massive hammer that could infuse and remove spirits, thus bringing inanimate objects to life to attack people. He could also use his hammer for basic weaponry purposes. Killed by the Formula Nova.
  • MM Mogu (モーモーモグー, MōMō Mogō) (4-5): Bowzock's biggest eater, armed with a giant fork and knife. Grotch brought him along to find out which Earth food made Gorotsukis enlarge. He shrunk from eating a non-Imocho-brand Imo-youkan. Mogu stayed this way, until he and Grotch made their way to Imocho, buying enough Imo-youkan to turn the tiny Mogu into a giant. Mogu was reluctant to attack until Grotch talked Mogu into a enlarged feeding frenzy. Mogu was the first to be killed by the RV Robo, as he was too busy eating to see the final attack coming. "Moguu-moguu" is the sound of chewing.
  • QQ Kyuutan (キューキューキュータン, KyūKyū Kyūtan) (6): Bowzock's best searcher. Hired by Gynamo to find a necklace that Zonnette wanted (which turned out to be a bridge), in the hopes of winning her affections. In battle, he wields a giant battle staff with a magnifying glass on it. Killed by RV Robo.
  • NN Nerenko (ネーネーネレンコ, NēNē Nerenko) (7): Bowzock's best graffiti artist. Used Grotch's fattening spray to make objects explode, after becoming too fat. In battle, he can also blast lasers from the face on his helmet. Killed by RV Robo.
  • YY Bingo (ヤーヤービンゴ, YāYā Bingo) (8): Bowzock's best racer. Quickly killed when Green Racer tricked him into crashing his car. In battle, he could blast energy from the horn on his head.
  • YY Gonza (ヤーヤーゴンザ, YāYā Gonza) (8): Bowzock's second best racer and YY Bingo's younger brother. He sought to avenge his brother's death. Like his brother, in battle, he could blast energy from the horn on his head. Bowzock's second best racer. Killed by RV Robo.
  • LL Onene (レーレーオネネ, RēRē Onene) (10): Bowzock's best bicycle gang leader. Tried to use special head bands to turn people into part of her bicycle gang. In battle, she wields a baton and can blast lasers from her helmeted eyeslot in the shape of the slot. She rides a motorcycle, while her brainwashed gang members ride bicycles. Killed by RV Robo.
  • PP Rappa (パーパーラッパー, PāPā Rappā) (11): Bowzock's best number magician. Could play havoc with any numbers and used cardboard shapes of numbers that exploded. He was beatdown by an irate Pink Racer when she believed Rappa screwed up her scale with his magic and made her think she was fat. Killed by RV Robo.
  • UU Uurin (ウーウーウーリン, ŪŪ Ūrin) (12-13): Bowzock's best traffic light destroyer. A feral alien beast sent, by the Bowzock, to eat SignalMan, when he(SignalMan) arrived on Earth. In battle, he could blast lasers from his eyes. Defeated but not killed by the RV Robo. Rebuilt into a second form, Revived UU Uurin (再生ウーウーウーリン, Saisei ŪŪ Uurin) with sprouted spikes extending from his body. In battle, the revived form could blast lasers from his eyes and the new spikes on his body. Killed by Sirender, a first for any Gorotsuki.
  • JJ Jetton (ジェージェージェットン, JēJē Jetton) (16): Bowzock's best wrestler. He was described as the Bowzock's dumbest Gorotsuki. Ritchhiker pretended to reform him to fool the Carrangers. Killed by the Carrangers & SignalMan.
  • ZZ Zeri (ゼーゼーゼリ, ZēZē Zeri) (17): Bowzock's fashion designer. He was a male Gorotsuki, though he acted very effeminantly. He made "Anger Jackets" that allowed Ritchihiker to control the actions of the wearers, which included SignalMan and Sirender. In battle, he could blast patchwork shaped lasers from his eyes as well as bind opponents with electrified fabric samples. Killed by the combined teamwork of Sirender & RV Robo.
  • OO Oopa (オーオーオーパ, ŌŌ Ōpa) (18): Bowzock's hot springs researcher. He tried to use a beam gun that Grotch fashioned to make the Carrangers undress and catch colds so they couldn't fight - notably forcing Dappu's costume change in the process. Could summon geysers of hot water in battle, as well as throw canteens as weapons, and breathe fire. Killed by RV Robo.
  • HH Deeo (ヒューヒューデーオ, HyūHyū Dēo) (19): Bowzock's best pitcher. He resembled a baseball. Kyousuke was eventually able to hit one of his pitches, a curve ball, after some training. He could throw baseball shaped lasers in battle, yet he was only able to do this after being empowered by a kiss from Zonnette. Killed by RV Robo.
  • WW Waritcho (ワリワリワリッチョ, WariWari Waritcho) (20): Bowzock's best excavator. Fits the theme of a bird. He was sent to find the legendary vehicles Pegasus Thunder and Dragon Cruiser, and did (accidentally). In battle, he wielded a pickaxe. He was eventually killed by the combined blasts of the legendary vehicles.
  • AA Abanba (アーアーアバンバ, ĀĀ Abanba) (21): Bowzock's best shaman. Could turn himself, others, and objects invisible. He was summoned to capture people on Earth so they could be used as sacrifices. The Bowzock wanted to feed these sacrifices to the "Evil God of Space" in order to bring them good luck. They believed this would stop their bad luck and give them an edge against the Carrangers. The girls invented the Carnavic, in order to track him down when he took the guys as sacrifices and became invisible. Wields a staff, which had the power to grant him his infamous invisibility. Killed by RV Robo, after Sirender destroyed his staff.
  • CC Chakkoo (チャーチャーチャッコー, ChāChā Chakkō) (22): Bowzock's best bug collector who tried to turn children into Bowzock. He managed to use SignalMan's need to obey the rules against him. In battle, he could release electrified bug nets and blast lasers from his eyes in the shape of his own bulgy, bug eyes. Killed by Sirender.
  • VV Goriin (ヴゥーヴゥーゴリーン, VūVū Gorīn) (23): Bowzock's best gold medal athlete. Resembles an Olympic torch. He was sent to steal a magical jewel from a princess.
  • TT Terurin (テーテーテルリン, TēTē Terurin) (24): Resembles a scale and an adding machine. He seemed to be the Bowzock's best mathematician and/or accountant. School children did not want the Carrangers to destroy him, as he helped them with their Math and/or homework. He could blasts ring-shaped laser beams from his eyes. Killed by RV Robo.
  • DD Donmo (ドードードンモ, DōDō Donmo) (26): Bowzock's best maniacal shopper, specifically over the phone. He used cellular phones on his wrists to order special weapons that were sent to him by missiles. He was killed by the new Booster Cannon. Apparently there were no imo-youkan in his favorite catalog, so he did not use/order any during his battle with the Carrangers, even though he needed to order some to keep himself alive longer.
  • XX Mileeno (クスクスミレーノ, KusuKusu Mirēno) (27): Bowzock's best pizza chef. An Italian Gorotsuki who wanted to make a "Carranger Pizza". Taking control of Pegasus Thunder and Dragon Cruiser, using special pizzas, Mireeno managed to fulfill his intention. SingalMan (whom he tricked earlier with "evil pizzas running amok") arrived though and freed both the rangers and their vehicles. Afterwards, Mileeno ate an Imoyoukan pizza and grew. Killed by Sirender & RV Robo.
  • HH Wasshoishoi (ホイホイワッショイショイ, HoiHoi Wasshoihoi) (28): Bowzock's best festival coordinator. He had Zelmonda kidnap Ichitarou for the Bowzock Festival, using a conductor for the "evil-power lightning" so they could suck the evil (& life) out of the boy. However, due to a miscalucation, it was Ritchihiker who was hit by the lightning, which transformed him and gave him more power. Wasshoishoi was killed by Sirender.
  • ZZ Gyuuri (ヅケヅケギューリー, ZukeZuke Gyūri) (32): Bowzock's biggest lover of kimchi. He piloted the RV Robo when it came under Bowzock control, with a row of explosives strapped to it. While VRV Robo & RV Robo battled, Red Racer managed to sneak inside the RV Robo, and in one of the best-remembered scenes in the show, fought Gyuuri on top of the waist-mounted explosives (halting RV Robo in the process). Red Racer managed to send the monster hurtling to the ground before shooting the bomb off and knocking it onto him. Gyuuri survived somehow and enlarged himself. Killed by VRV Robo.
  • UU Ussu (ウスウスウッス, UsuUsu Ussu) (33): Bowzock who drank Gekibaka (Violent Idiot) drinks to become mindlessly powerful. He rode a motorcycle, which he also poured a Gekibaka drink into the gas tank. This caused the speed to increase and triggered a massive forest fire. In battle, he could breathe fire as well, though this was strengthened with the help of the drink. Killed by VRV Robo.
  • FF Munchori (フィルフィルムンチョリ, FiruFiru Munchori) (34): Bowzock's scandal photographer. He was sent by Zelmonda to see if Zonette was having an affair. At one point, he gave the Carrangers embarrassing photographs of themselves messing up. Was pummeled by RadiaCar Robo before being killed by VRV Robo.
  • GG Boon (ゴンゴンボーン, GonGon Bōn) (35): Bowzock's best errand guy. When he first appeared, he was cutting a turn in front of Kyousuke when he was attempting to buy some boxed lunches (bento) for the others. Before they battled, unfortunately for him, he was hungry during that time too and couldn't put up much of a fight. This was also when SignalMan (who was drugged into being evil by the poisoned atmosphere of his planet) ambushed Kyuosuke too. Killed by VRV Robo.
  • BB Koiya (ブンブンコイヤ, BunBun Koiya) (36): Bowzock's best gardener. His best attack is sowing seeds onto his opponents that wrapped them in vines. These vines would sprout flowers that would attract Space Bees that sting them to death. After almost all of the bees were destroyed, Koiya gave his remaining Space Bee a piece of his Imo-youkan, which he ate some of as well. While the bee was killed by Sirender, Koiya was killed by VRV Robo.
  • PP Chiipuri (プリプリチープリ, PuriPuri Chīpuri) (38): Bowzock's best make-up artist. He was used to make the owner of Imocho young again with his youth cream. The owner thought he was getting old and was planning to close his store. Without imo-youkan from his store, Bowzocks couldn't grow to giant size anymore. SignalMan was also affected by the youth cream and temporarily became a child. Chiipuri accidentally destroyed the Norishiron 12 with a blast from his youth cream before being killed himself by VRV Robo.
  • CC Patchoone (チャムチャムパッチョーネ, ChamuChamu Patchōne) (39): Bowzock's best animal trainer. He was sent to gain back the Beager, an alien resembling an Earth dog, that eats concrete. Exhaus wanted to use the Beager to destroy Earth's roads, but Naoki had taken a liking to the animal. Wielded an electrified whip and could shoot beams from his eyepiece, during battle. Killed by VRV Robo.
  • OO Batton (オロオロバットン, OroOro Batton) (40): A Bowzock that was sent to distract the Carrangers by pretending to be their friend. Meanwhile the other Bowzocks tried to build a secret base under the city. Fits the theme of a vampire bat. He wielded a staff in battle with a hammer on one end and a drill on the other. Killed by Worldly Billowing-Fast Robo Special.
  • SS Sutatanzo (スタスタスタタンゾ, SutaSuta Sutatanzo) (Carranger vs. OHranger): Bowzock's best gas attendant, he was sent to use the three tanks of gasoline Exhaus gave the Bowzock to make cars fly. He could breathe fire. Killed by VRV Robo.
  • MM Shuurisukii (メチャメチャシューリスキー, MechaMecha Shūrisukī) (44): Bowzock's best auto mechanic, who was looking for a magical wrench, which turned out to be owned by Yellow Racer. He managed to steal it, turn it wretched, and created an awesome battle vehicle, for Exhaus, with it. Yellow Racer eventually gained back the wrench and destroyed the battle vehicle. Killed by VRV Robo.
  • EE Musubinofu (エンエンムスビノフ, EnEn Musubinofu) (45): Bowzock's best marriage master. Used by Zelmonda to cheer up his friend, Gynamo. His plan was to used this alien to force Zonette into marrying Gynamo through some sort of legality, and thus cheer up Gynamo. The plan backfired, and Zonette was purified soon after returning to her home planet. He could shoot arrows with a photograph in the middle, and whatever he hit (living or otherwise) fell in love with the subject of the picture. Killed by four of VRV Fighters (minus Fire Fighter) with the V Bazooka and V Vulcan.
  • Ballinger Z: This monster never appeared in the series, but it was seen in promotional pictures fighting the VRV Fighters. Had to be changed at the request of Dynamic Productions. This creature seems to the fit the theme of a grenade. Also, it bears a similarity to Mazinger Z, hence the suit from Dynamic Productions.

Goki-Chan

A breed of space cockroach that serve as guienapigs for Grotch's experiments, made human size via Imo-youkan. Only a few Goki-Chan that were altered by the experiments ended up fighting the Carrangers.

  • GG Goki-Chan (ゴーゴーゴキちゃん, GōGō Goki-chan) (5, 15): One was Bowzock's most powerful dancer, able to create earthquakes with his dancing using a special device. He was originally enlarged by Grotch's experiment with imo-yokan in Episode 5.
  • II Goki-Chan (イケイケゴキちゃん, IkeIke Goki-chan) (41, 43): Another was able to suck the energy out of people by kissing them.
