ArbCom

Hi, you seem to be pretty new at this (or, well, are you?...) – so, anyway, just a friendly piece of advice: the arbcom page is not for debating your political opinions. The evidence page is for just that, evidence to assemble the facts of what happened, and the evidence talk page is also for just that, talk about how to present the evidence most fairly. You'd do yourself and all of us a big favour if you helped to keep the noise level down and reduce the derailing of discussion into political advocacy and discussion of the content issue. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 13:00, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

I note that you are very new to wikipedia. Therefore there is something that I think you should know. ArbCom only addresses matters of conduct. Your proposals for how to interpret policy regarding the subject being discussed will fall on deaf ears there, because even when they accepted the case they indicated that they would not decide the name of the article. Any comments on how to change the article name should be confined to either the Talk:Macedonia page or some other related page. But your proposed changes to the name on the ArbCom pages are basically irrelevant to the subject, will almost by definition not be addressed in the arbitration, and, basically, just make a complicated situation that much harder to understand. I would very sincerely urge you to cease using the ArbCom pages as a platform to discuss your own ideas regarding a matter the ArbCom has already said it will not address. Thank you. I just merged your topics 'cause you both basically told me the same thing. Point taken into consideration. Thanks for letting me know what ArbCom pages are meant for; I am new to wikipedia and wasn't aware of that. It will take some time to revise my statement. --Radjenef (talk) 13:21, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Misplaced Pages:Requests for arbitration/Macedonia 2/Evidence

Thank you for adding evidence to Macedonia 2. We ask all participants and commentators to limit the size of their evidence to 1,000 words. Please trim your statement accordingly. Neat, concisely presented statements are much more likely to be understood and to influence the decisions of the Arbitrators.

For the Arbitration Committee. KnightLago (talk) 19:59, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Yes, yes, thank you! I am actually in the process of doing that :) --Radjenef (talk) 22:03, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
Done! I am currently down to 818 words. I do plan on bringing this down even further, but it will have to wait, I don't have time to do this right now. --Radjenef (talk) 11:36, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Prior editing?

You were evidently not a new user even when you did your first edits under this account in February 2008. As you are now taking part in Arbitration ostensibly as a quasi-newcomer, I think it would be fair if you disclosed what and under what id you edited prior to that. Thank you. I never had an account before this one, honestly. Even after I created it, I only logged in sporadically. I have been a long time reader of wikipedia prior to creating the account, but I guess that doesn't count. I am also a very fast learner, clever (all Oxonians are I guess), handsome and immensely modest (in case that is somehow relevant). --Radjenef (talk) 15:16, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
