Seemingly the school is a breeding ground for hindu militancy and the institution became famous after the arrest of the Col. Prohit and attracting more militant attitude with serious RSS members admitting their wards in to the school in a big way

Bhonsala Military School is a residential military school in Nasik, Maharashtra state, India operasted by the Central Hindu Military Education Society (CHMES).

The school's commandant is Lt. Col. S. S. Raikar, PSC (Retd). The principal is Shri R.R. Kute. The chief training officer is Capt. N. D. Joshi (Retd.).

A controversial ex-major of the Territorial Army, Prabhakar Kulkarni, was formerly the school's commandant, but resigned in 1989.
