Per your summary in edit, I was wondering which page says that a citation must immediately follow a quote. Everything I've read just mentions that the quote must be attributed (which it was at the end of the paragraph in the old case). :I almost think you're taking that too literally. True it states that it should be placed directly after the citation, but I think that is rather to contrast with its other recommended placement. I believe that the way the page was written did not account for the possibility that more info about the review/paper would follow the quote. It simply makes more sense to cite the entire thought, as opposed to attributing every sentence to the same citation. I see I am not alone in my thinking as other video game articles, such as ], take ] just as liberally. What do you think? Your Sandbox version looks excellent! Copy that into the article and I think I'm ready to support! Reywas92 16:12, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Citing quotations
Per your summary in this edit, I was wondering which page says that a citation must immediately follow a quote. Everything I've read just mentions that the quote must be attributed (which it was at the end of the paragraph in the old case). Thanks, Artichoker 15:27, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

It simply makes more sense to cite the entire thought, as opposed to attributing every sentence to the same citation. I see I am not alone in my thinking as other video game articles, such as Halo: Combat Evolved, take WP:Citations#When quoting someone just as liberally. What do you think? - Good idea. I have composed a query. Artichoker 16:54, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
