I'm Realist2 and I joined Misplaced Pages on May 27, 2009. I am a University student and currently live in the United Kingdom, although I am not British. I speak Spanish and English fluently (or so I like to think), and could also survive if I were stranded in France. I only use the internet for Misplaced Pages and studies, my main focus here is music.

I didn't really become a "notable" Wikipedian until March 2008 when I received two blocks (in that month alone) for breaching ]. The first block was deserved but the second was unwarranted and incorrect in my opinion. In April, I helped get ] and was blocked for "harassment and personal attacks". Apparently calling (I did this on my own talk page by the way) an indefinitely blocked, racist, trolling sock puppet a "bigot" is a blockable offense. How I could be harassing someone who wasn't allowed to edit Misplaced Pages anymore and could only see the "insult" if they came to my talk page is anyone's guess. Anyway, I have not been blocked since. In June, I created a ]. Towards the end of July, I got ] to ], my greatest achievement at Misplaced Pages to date. In December, I ran for adminship but withdrew after a few hours, possibly the quickest ] withdrawal (with a decent support percentage) ever.

I support adding the GA symbol to the cover of Good articles, do you?
I am a GA reviewer here at Misplaced Pages. If you want an article nominated for review, let me know.
As a model next generation GA reviewer, I fulfill my duties with a certain level of passion.
To truly become a next generation reviewer one should:
Never be afraid to take on difficult or controversial articles.
Feel free to review any articles regardless of your background knowledge: a fresh set of eyes usually helps an article.
Improve the article yourself if possible; you want to help people not depress them with bad news.
When you have reviewed an article, be it a fail, a pass or on hold, inform the nominator personally.
Advise the nominator to put the article on their watchlist.
If you change the status of the review, again inform the nominator.
If you pass the article, why not suggest brief improvements to get it to FA. Encouragement really helps.
Well those are my thoughts, if you think there are more ways to improve the review process give me a bell.
* In collaboration with other Misplaced Pages editors, notably User:Kodster, who provided numerous copy edits. My greatest achievement here at Misplaced Pages, something I am very proud of.
Awards - Yes, I'm popular/talented/embattled, get over it!
I gladly give this Barnstar to Realist2, for being a member of the new generation of GA reviewers who are precise, friendly, and actually work on articles while reviewing them, because they don't want to depress people, but help them. Truly well-deserved. Enjoy.--andreasegde (talk) 17:44, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

All Around Amazing Barnstar
For all of the help, kindness, and support I have received throughout our work together on No Jacket Required, I award you this barnstar. Though unfortunately the FAN will most likely not go through, it was, is, and will always be a privilege to have worked with you on the article. Without your guidance and support, I doubt the article would have looked anywhere near as good as it does now, let alone even have a chance to be a featured article. With your help and guidance, I was able to turn an article from a GA to a very close FAC, which is something that is no easy task for an article about an album. Although the article won't pass its FAN, I want to thank you for your help and support, and hope that in the future, we can fix the concerns that were left to us by the users at the FAN page, and give it another go. Thanks again. You friend, CarpetCrawler 19:46, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

The Defender of the Wiki Barnstar
Honestly, if it wasn't for all of your hard work, the Michael Jackson article would have been total crap yesterday. That would have been a disaster, IMO. If it was filled with false information, and a lack of sources, and all of that stuff, the media would be ripping Misplaced Pages apart. While for a bad reason, your work was seen by over a million people yesterday. That's certainly something to be proud of. Thank you for all of your work on Jackson's article! :) – (iMatthew • talk) at 12:49, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Wiki work I have done that has been plagiarized by major mainstream publications
The Times made an article over-viewing Michael Jackson's career which they released on August 15, 2008 Seen here. It is quite clearly plagiarism of the Jackson article, take a look at the August 14, 2008 version of the article. That article took me a long time to get to featured states, it appears that they did not acknowledge me or more importantly Misplaced Pages in their publication. I might add that The Times's (long time Jackson bashers) version was not as neutral as mine. I'm unhappy with the way they presented the information on vitiligo, the label dispute of 2000-2002, the critical reception of the Invincible album and the commercial reception of Thriller 25 (they only mentioned the "moderate hit singles", but not the successful album itself). I apologize to offended readers and the article subject, I do not endorse the manner in which the publication cherry picked information from the article to meet their own ends. In some respects it is probably best that they did not name us as their source. I only hope that the publication will learn from it's mistake and continue to produce neutral material.

My comments - Lets get back to some Realism
I think the superbowl thing suffers with slight undue weight. Most people outside the US shake their head in confusion at all the fuss, it panders to US viewpoint as a major incident, instead of an international, no big deal, viewpoint. Almost as much time is dedicated to it as the child sexual abuse accusation of 1993 against MJ over at Michael Jackson. Those allegations were significantly a much bigger deal than some tit falling out of a bra. Just saying it how it is. It needs a trim. - Me talking about Janet Jackson's Super bowl incident seen here.
I installed it, damn it's a sexy tool, everything I could need. Cheers. Me talking about Twinkle.
My essays and things that annoy me - Well I am opinionated
