Civic Center, San Francisco article

How is a vendor setting up at the Civic Center relevant to its history and why is it notable enough to warrant mentioning at all in the article? To me, having this paragraph in the article smacks of advertising for the vendor and that's a definite no-no on WP. --sanfranman59 (talk) 02:15, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

And your unilateral removal of my writing smacks of facism. I left a longer note regarding your false charge on your talk page. --Br77rino (talk) 00:43, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
Wow ... fascism?? ... Come on. We're both just trying to build an encyclopedia here, no? I apologize if I was heavy-handed. I should have given you some time to respond to my note before I removed your text about the vendor. It's definitely not my habit to jump on new editors' work. I think if you check my edit history and talk page, you'll see that I'm not one to indiscriminately remove others' work. In this case, since I thought there was a reasonable chance that the edit was made by the vendor himself, I decided to be bold and remove it. That type of thing happens all the time out here. I was evidently mistaken in this case. Again, my apologies. --sanfranman59 (talk) 00:54, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Global warming

Thank you for your contributions to the encyclopedia! In case you are not already aware, an article to which you have recently contributed, Global warming, is on article probation. A detailed description of the terms of article probation may be found at Misplaced Pages:General sanctions/Climate change probation. Also note that the terms of some article probations extend to related articles and their associated talk pages.

The above is a templated message. Please accept it as a routine friendly notice, not as a claim that there is any problem with your edits. Thank you. -- TS 09:05, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
