Apologies
Considering I am no longer going to contribute to Misplaced Pages, I don't see the point of leaving enemies behind me. I apologise for the overheated comment on your talk page, which you have duly deleted. The fact that we disagree over a law journal is no good reason for leaving a trail of hatred behind me. All the best. --Grasshopper6 (talk) 15:09, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

Sean Hannity
Greetings, Niteshift! I've asked an admin whom I respect greatly to weigh in on the whole Sean Hannity/waterboarding/sock puppet issue. Though he and I have collaborated on several articles in the past, we come from very distinct worldviews. As a self-described conservative Christian, he's actually probably more inclined to side with you, although I trust him completely to strive for a neutral point of view. (Not saying you don't... but again, I've worked with him many times.) Mainly, I'm hoping he can get to the bottom of the issue of sockpuppets and SPA's thwarting our efforts at consensus building. Looking forward to working with him, and you! -- JeffBillman (talk) 23:52, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
- Please don't think that I've supported the inclusion of the waterboarding statement because I want to see criticism of him for the sake of criticism — I believe that it's better included as an example of his political views on a touchy subject. And your userboxes — see mine if you've not already looked. I'm not suspecting you of being a staffer working with a hidden POV :-) Nyttend (talk) 13:19, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
- After giving the matter quite a bit of thought, I decided I agree with you on the Hal Turner issue. It's just not notable to an article on Sean Hannity. Indeed, about all that is notable about Hannity's days at WABC is that which already appears in the article-- and I say that as a fan of Hannity since shortly before his leaving WGST. (Yes, really! A non-traditional Libertarian who is a fan of a faithful Catholic conservative. Whodda thunk it? ;-) ) What worries me, though, is how the article has been redacted to the point that it does now seem to be askew of NPOV. And although the POV I think it now represents is not my own, that does not make it any more worrisome to me than if it had taken a POV that more closely matches my own. Cheers! -- JeffBillman (talk) 00:49, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

FYI
Rahm has created a new account and is editing under User_talk:See-Threepio. So far, doesn't seem to be especially disruptive, although MOS violations persist. I'll take a closer gander at his recent edits and go from there. Anyway, FYI. --EEMIV (talk) 19:57, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

Lauren Bernat
I recently recreated the article as Wii Fit Girl and was quickly reverted due to the previous AfD. However, I feel that the version I wrote clearly addressed the complaints of the article being about someone who is famous for only the YouTube video, in spite of the fact that she has been sued for the video, the lawsuit being covered by several news media outlets such as Fox News, she has appeared as a spokesperson for Electronic Arts' EA Sports Active, and has spawned several homages and "copycats". Perhaps the original version that was deleted seemed to be covering a person who was only famous for one thing, but this one I think clearly shows that she has done more than just be the Wii Fit Girl. If you could give your opinion on the matter to me, that would be excellent. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 06:16, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
AfD notice for All Star Cashville Prince
You posted this on my talk page: http://en.wikipedia.org/search/?title=User_talk:Flowanda&diff=336210238&oldid=334757125 , but I don't see a current AfD discussion, even though the article needs serious editing. Flowanda | Talk 09:01, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
- The link you placed on my page on January 6 was not to the second AfD you initiated many days before. I just now see the discussion you referenced, but only after the second AfD closed. Flowanda | Talk 05:30, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
Live action film
Perhaps not your decision point, but the film which you correctly state is yet to be released featuring Isaac Jin Solstein (in articles for deletion) is by no means an animated film, as the accompanying discussion makes clear. Perhaps there is other information you may be mistaken about or possibly overlooked, such as stage experience. Thank you. 76.15.38.62 (talk) 04:39, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- Based on an animated feature......no, I didn't miss anything on his stage experience. It's not notable. Can't really consider a 290 seat theater all that important. Niteshift36 (talk) 05:01, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

Discussion about ISCF & IKF
Niteshift36, You are on the west coast and so am I. Why can't we discuss the issues you have with both the ISCF MMA site and IKF Kickboxing site over the phone? That way you can clearly explain to me what "YOU" don't like about the information on each site and what "YOU" would rather see there because your posts on both our info pages continue to confuse us here and we have no idea what "YOU" like and dislike or what "YOU" feel is acceptable to you. We have taken the time to research other related sites and we don't see you posting on them and their info is pretty much the same as we have on ours. So instead of posting things that we have to "Guess" what is wrong, please take the time to either e-mail me or better yet, call me directly so that we can get these sites cleaned up. My office phone number is: 916-663-2467. My direct e-mail is: steve@IFightSports.com Looking forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Steve Fossum President IKF & ISCF. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.5.253.232 (talk) 01:49, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Initial Military Training
I added the links back to the Deputy Commanding General for Initial Military Training. This website is the Army Page for initial Military Training. This site will provide many young recruits accurate information about BCT. Please leave this link in because we want to ensure new recruits go to the place where they can reach information about their upcoming journey. We are also going to use Social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. If you have any suggestions please let me know. The BCT is a total of 10 weeks but the last week is a reinforcement week to finishing up admin. issues before recruits go to AIT. I know there is a lot of information out there we just want ensure new recruits to have better access to the information they need to be successful in their journeys. Thank You, Habi - Chief Ops Officer DCG-IMT.
