This comment upon the revision of my motion to reinstate a well established link, that had been efficiently used for almost a year should be removed immediately. The link contributed greatly to Misplaced Pages by providing its users with a page to visit in which they did not have to sift through hours of information just to receive the basics. Most people are only looking for how to select the correct size screw or to decipher the type and size of screw they should use for their project. This link, "http://www.hingedummy.info/screwinfopage2.htm, provides that information in a concise and easy to understand manner.

On a personal note, maybe you and some other wiki users should rethink their attitudes about their power as sole arbiters of what is and is not a good link.

The link contributed greatly to Misplaced Pages by providing its users with a page to visit in which they did not have to sift through hours of information just to receive the basics. Most people are only looking for how to select the correct size screw or to decipher the type and size of screw they should use for their project.
