Blanking wikilinks

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Fort Hood shooting. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Grsz 23:10, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Arrest of Two New Jersey Men Bound for Somalia
A tag has been placed on Arrest of Two New Jersey Men Bound for Somalia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Hello. It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on others' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Misplaced Pages's principle of consensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. You are now a Reviewer
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Misplaced Pages:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 05:11, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Misplaced Pages is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Misplaced Pages uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Cannondalerdr (talk) 16:25, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

I have again removed the statements regarding facebook groups from Nidal Malik Hasan. It simply does not add anything to the article. There would have to be an exceptional reason to include this kind of stuff and I can't image that there is one in this case. If you think that there are legitimate grounds for inclusion, please raise them on the talk page. Regards, wjemather 20:56, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- Who/Where says it has to be exceptional, as long as it is verifiable and notable? It was worth noting by the ADL, who are a notable group. It shows popular support on the internet for the attack and Nidal Hasan. What is the objection? Bachcell (talk) 22:52, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- As I stated in the edit summary, you find all kinds of crap on facebook. It is not an indicator of popular support for anything. Of course groups like the ADL (who have a clear agenda) will report on anything and everything like this, however trivial, but that does not make it notable. This is really a discussion for the article talk page, should you feel that it really should be included. wjemather 08:31, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Lockheed Electra
Your addition to the lead, dealing with the re-emergance of turboprops in the 21st century is only very loosly related to the Electra; the purpose of the introduction is to introduce the subject of the article and is not intended to describe events of no relevance to the history of the Electra. Baltimore Chronicle
You need to find independent reliable sources to substantiate the view that the website "focuses on conflicts in the Middle East critical of Israel and moderate Muslim states" and "publish(es) news critical of Israel and supportive of Palestine and 9/11 truth". It is entirely insufficient to point to headlines and stories from the Chronicle to support such a claim (WP:OR). wjemather 22:15, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
No true reliable source
I'm afraid personal blogs don't meet WP:RS, unless they've been written by a recognised authority. Probably better to search through Google News and various published book searches, than the broader internet, if you want to find further examples of No True Scotsman. --McGeddon (talk) 16:33, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

Absolute final warning
Your comments at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Mohamed Osman Mohamud seem to imply that cetain editors have "radical muslim / arab sympathies". You have been warned for these kinds of personal attacks before so you are well aware that it is totally unacceptable. I am giving you the chance now to retract those comments before taking the matter to WP:ANI. wjemather 12:43, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
Why are you confronting me with a threat? That's hardly WP:CIVIL. I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about the bigger problem of other editors (I'm thinking of one that starts with an "N") who actually posts pro-palestine/jihadist prose on their user page. I won't mention his name for fear of threats like this one. Sure I'll remove it if you think it causes confusion, since it wasn't specific to you. But as constructive criticism, if you would cease and desist impeding edits which illuminate dangerous violent extremists, that would help your case even more. It seems you were in agreement with that fellow that wanted to declare edit wars on editors who thought people like Woodson might be dangerous terrorists. I find it difficult to understand why you wouldn't consider him and this Portland bomber to be a danger as well. The next time there are international headlines about a religious radical extremist, do you intend to afd them as well? My impression of your nomination on the basis of one event and notnews is that your true motive is surpressing the notable point of view that the Portland bomber is a dangerous terrorist, which is inconsistent with neutral NPOV - airing ALL notable points of view. A further constructive suggestion is to demonstrate your good faith and dedication to neutral point of view is to withdraw your afd, and simply find a notable and reliable source counter the view that Mohamud is a terrorist, if indeed that is your point of view. Bachcell (talk) 00:49, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
- It was not a threat, it was a warning. Your behaviour in making serious allegations against other contributors is not acceptable in any way shape or form. Your refactoring of you AfD comments has done little to alleviate the problem. Please try again. Regardless of who you refer to above (I can guess), it is not acceptable to equate being pro-palestine with holding jihadist views, so suggest you strike that also. I will AfD any article I genuinely think fails criteria for inclusion regardless of the subject matter. wjemather 08:26, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
May I direct your attention to which explains this user box, which is a masked statement for support for Hezbollah, an organization determined to be a terrorist organization by the US and other governments. Thankfully I don't see you displaying this box. Perhaps you don't agree that terrorist organizations pose a threat to your safety and mine, but your POV is hardly grounds for bullying and intimiditating other editors for pointing out the POV of other problematic editors. I can't tell what your point of view is, but it is clear your position opposes documenting terrorist incidents as "trivial non-notable" matters, and declaring "it is not acceptable to equate being pro-palestine with holding jihadist views" and your cavalier attitude towards support for terrorist organizations. It is quite a prevalent if disputed view, whether correct or not, that "palestinean rights" is just a part of the "jihad" against non-muslims, though it would have to be sourced to be placed in an the article space. You have a right to your POV, but please do not ridicule warn, condemn, harass and afd other editors for having opposing POV if they use notable, reliable international headlines to create articles on alleged terrorists.
? | This user supports the right of all individuals and groups to violently resist military aggression and occupation by other parties, but due to an alleged consensus he is disallowed from naming particular individuals or groups which certain administrators find to be unacceptable. |
|} Bachcell (talk) 18:10, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
- Again, it is not accepable to equate palestinean rights or pro-palestine views with terrorism or jihad. It is without question, a personal attack which you should strike at your earliest opportunity. I am well aware it is a view that proliferates various internet blogs and forums but it is one that can only be described as an extremist fringe view. As far as terrorist, or alleged terrorist, incidents go, the vast majority are insufficiently notable to justify a dedicated article. We have various timelines and lists of such incidents and as per our policies and guidelines, a one of two line summary in one of those is more that sufficient coverage for an encyclopaedia. Note that I am not seeking to erase all mention of these incident, far from it, I would just rather see them put in some proper perspective. wjemather 20:02, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Man Sentenced for Threatening Illinois Mosque
The article Man Sentenced for Threatening Illinois Mosque has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Appears to violate WP:ONEEVENT (and this title...sheesh).
While all contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Erpert (let's talk about it) 06:37, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
