Speedy deletion of Template:User Daugavpils/2
A tag has been placed on Template:User Daugavpils/2 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. Regarding your editing in article about Belarusians.
Dear Glebchik, before constantly clicking on "undo" saying that somebody is not Belarusian, please read biography of famous Belarusians (upper left corner section). You keep removing Kastuś Kalinoŭski and Tadeusz Kaściuszko from that section just because you don't consider them Belarusian despite of biographical and historical facts.
First of all, Kastuś Kalinoŭski's family has Polish background which was centuries ago but all his recent ancestors were Belarusian. Me for instance, I have Polish Catholic great-grandmother, all my other relatives are Belarusians. Does the fact that I have Polish background makes me not Belarusian even thought almost all my relatives are Belarusian?
Second, regarding Tadeusz Kaściuszko, again, please, read his biography, even here on Misplaced Pages. He was born in present-day Belarus, in Kosava to Belarusian parents. Yet, somehow he isn't Belarusian.

Since Ukrainians or Russian didn't exist at the time of Kievan Rus' people living in those times can not be listed as Russians. If you are nostalgic to the times Ukraine, Belarus and Russia where one country that is OK, but please do not let it influence a neutral style of editing. - Sorry, but Misplaced Pages is not a place for Ukrainian patriotic dreamings. Kievan Rus', Principality of Galicia-Volhynia and Cossack Hetmanate are not Ukraine (state, created after the October coup), so their capitals are not capitals of Ukraine. Kiev and Vladimir are historic capitals of Russia, because Kievan Rus' and Vladimir-Suzdal have direct dynastic connection with Grand Duchy of Moscow and later Russian Tsardom. Generally yes, but in this case WP:ENGVAR also comes into play. Just because the author of administrative centre preferred the Commonwealth spelling does not automatically mean that all articles linking to it should utilize it as well. Additionally, {{Infobox Russian inhabited locality}} is used in articles which predominantly use the American spelling, so your change introduces mass inconsistency as well. Linking through a redirect in this case is fine or, if it really bugs you, you can pipe the link through using ].
