The Nexus

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Nexus (professional wrestling), please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Misplaced Pages:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. The information you're referring to about Sheffield does not explicitly state that Sheffield is out of the group. --☆ Antoshi ☆ 03:27, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

Your source is not reliable enough. Like I've said before, until WWE itself gives actual information that he is NOT in the group, he is NOT to be removed from the list of current members. --☆ Antoshi ☆ 04:04, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

November 2010

Please remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors, which you did not do on Nexus (professional wrestling). Thank you. Reaper Eternal (talk) 03:54, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Nexus (professional wrestling). Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful, then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Reaper Eternal (talk) 03:59, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of HTC Sabor

The article HTC Sabor has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Completed unreferenced, speculative rumors about a product. Fails WP:CRYSTAL.

While all contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:13, 28 November 2010 (UTC)

Re your message: The sources do not need to be from Google or HTC, but they do need to be from a reliable source. Generally, rumors about future products are not from reliable sources. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:19, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
Re your message: No, that does not appear to be a reliable source nor does the original source of that story. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:27, 28 November 2010 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Htc-glacier-mytouch-4g.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Htc-glacier-mytouch-4g.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Misplaced Pages's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 10:10, 28 November 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. SoWhy 10:10, 28 November 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Mytouch4gggg.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Mytouch4gggg.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. SoWhy 10:22, 28 November 2010 (UTC)

File:Mytouch4gggg.jpg

I have tagged File:Mytouch4gggg.jpg as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Misplaced Pages, it must be included in at least one article. Otherwise, it will be deleted in seven days. SoWhy 13:19, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

I noticed you re-added it before and I re-removed it. Please note that non-free images must follow our non-free content criteria and this image fails WP:NFCC#8, since it's not needed in order for the reader to understand the article. It would be purely decorative, which is not allowed. So please do not re-add it to the article. Regards SoWhy 13:23, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
Again, please read the policy I linked above. File:Mytouch4gggg.jpg does not belong in List of HTC phones because non-free images should not be used where they are not necessary and it's certainly not necessary on that list, where it's too small to be of any use. Even if one argued to include a non-free picture in that list, this specific image is still not the right choice, since it's clearly an inferior choice to the current image in the phone's article which does show the back and does not show an unnecessary promotional caption. File:Mytouch4gggg.jpg listed for deletion

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Mytouch4gggg.jpg, has been listed at Misplaced Pages:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Serebii (website)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Serebii (website) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 07:13, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

Hi again. I don't want to appear as if I'm stalking you but I had to delete this page for copyright-related reasons. You copied the text from this wiki as far as I can see. This wiki does only grant content to be used and modified for non-commercial uses. Unfortunately, content added to Misplaced Pages must be available for everyone to use and adapt with attribution, so adding that content to Misplaced Pages constituted a copyright violation and in the interest of the project, it had to be removed as soon as possible. In the future, if you want to incorporate content from other pages, please make sure that they use the same license as Misplaced Pages does. Also, whenever you do incorporate content from a source with such a license, you have to attribute the source in your edit summary or in the article's footer, otherwise it will still be a copyright violation. Regards SoWhy 09:07, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

File:Serebii.PNG

I have tagged File:Serebii.PNG as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Misplaced Pages, it must be included in at least one article. Otherwise, it will be deleted in seven days. Melesse (talk) 10:24, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

You cannot put fair use images on your user page. And also there is no "Project Wikiranger".—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 03:31, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Victini poster

Please find a version of the poster that does not have a watermark from a fansite on it.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 01:03, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

The Poster has the watermark removed, any other ProblemsK.O.K Kev (talk) 02:28, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
Okay, it's clear you just used MS Paint to get rid of the watermark. Please try to find the original image instead.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 03:08, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
There are several versions. The original is too small(50px), the second from a japanese doll has a plush, and the last two you've seen. I'll look but so far this is the best there is
Just try to find the original. Filb.de found it, so you can too.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 03:13, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
Look, this poster is Great. With no disrespect but I don't see you adding upgrades or better versions. BTW Filb.de has almost 20 ppl if not alot more who dedicate their life to Pokemon. I'm adding the poster back. Please don't Start an Edit War.I;m just trying to improve this article.
We're not using it until someone can find the original image. I don't have to add a better image. The articles doesn't need to have a better image. The textual logo is fine.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 04:29, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
And stop commenting on my user talk. That is why I am talking to you here. And you are not allowed to have any of the images you put on your user page on your user page.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 04:35, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! What the hell is wrong with my image? First there's a watermark, then when the water mark is removed, there's still an issue. Your not helping the image at all ,just giving it a bad history. I haven't seen you do any better. According to Misplaced Pages, you'r ethe one starting a war. The image is 350px, it shows the purpose an dtwo main character Pokemon. BTW Stop deleting this and leave my userpage alone.
You cannot use any images that have a copyright on them on your user page. It is explicitly written in policy (see WP:Non-free content policy). You cannot have the images from Serebii on your page.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 04:42, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
Alright But What's Wrong with The Poster?!
It's not the original image. It had the Filb.de watermark on it and now you just used MS Paint to cover it. Find the original image, then upload it.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 04:52, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
I talked to some people and the original was removed but just for YOU an alternative WITHOUT the watermark(http://blog.pokemon-movie.jp/2009/)! Is it better or can this end until The PKMN company release more images, THEN i'll reupload. The info's barely from today. WAITK.O.K Kev (talk) 05:06, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. —Ryūlóng (竜龙) 05:00, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Serebii

Serebii is not a reliable source and should not be linked to, unless an article about the subject actually is made and is kept on the English Misplaced Pages. Do not say "Serebii says..." anywhere on Misplaced Pages again.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 23:51, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Non-free files in your user space

Hey there K.O.K Kev, thank you for your contributions. I am a bot, alerting you that non-free files are not allowed in user or talk space. I removed some files I found on User:K.O.K Kev. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use files to your user-space drafts or your talk page.

Replaceable fair use File:Htc-glacier-mytouch-4g.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Htc-glacier-mytouch-4g.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Misplaced Pages articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. SchuminWeb (Talk) 18:08, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:KangPodkolPoD.PNG

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:KangPodkolPoD.PNG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Misplaced Pages constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 23:51, 15 December 2010 (UTC)

Fair use images

Stop putting fair use images on your userpage. I am not here to translate the damn Pokemon Global Link webpage for you. If you can't navigate it, don't go to it. Leave me alone. Don't put fair use images on your userpage and if you continue to upload screencaps of webpages just to ask people what they are you will be blocked.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:39, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:KangPodkolPoD.PNG

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:KangPodkolPoD.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 11:38, 18 December 2010 (UTC)

Let me be as clear as I possibly can. If the fair-use image makes another appearance on your userpage, I will block you from editing. This use of copyrighted material is not acceptable per the WP:NFCC. 11:40, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
