The only times her hair is out of her usual style is in episodes '''Ghost Of A Kiss''' (though it is her ancestor, whom looked exactly like Pucca), '''Ring Ring's Party Favors''' when she was blasted out of the Goh-rong when Ring Ring uses her hyper beam, destroying most of it, and her hair ties snap off, and '''He Loves Me Not''' where her hair was flowing from an unusual power. Pucca is also a talented musician, as evidenced in '''And the Band Played Rong''', '''Sooga Size Me''', and a few other episodes. ===Gyarados===
{{Expand section|date=May 2010}}
A Gyarados that is the ] of Ring Ring. She was first seen in a transition, then in "Ring Ring's Party Favors". She often is prone to profound rampage attacks, especially when Pucca is chosen over Ring Ring. In "Little Miss Sooga", Ring Ring even tried holding Gyarados inside her (by saying 'I'm too perfect to be angry'), but Gyarados' rage was too strong, and so after several lapses Ring Ring transformed and started a rampage. Luckily Pucca came to the rescue and defeated Gyarados. She also uses the catchphrase again in "Enter The Dragon Girls".

Gyarados has semi-sentient blue hair, long red lances for arms, and can also use a hyper beam in various ways. Mostly, Gyarados uses her hair to attack but in "Puccapatra" she doesn't. Sometimes, as evidenced in "Chefnapped" and "The Ring Ring Touch", Gyarados can actually use the lances as stilts. . She wears a red traditional gown, like those who perform in ]. She is always angry (as seen in "It's a Ring Ring Thing" and "Ring Ring's Party Favours"). Whenever she is not rampaging she is fighting someone, mostly Pucca. She is shown to take on both Pucca ''and'' Ching in "Ching It On", but she proves to be no match for them.

Pai Ri Long is shown to have multiple theme tunes in the series, like Pucca and Ching. She once split from Ring Ring in the episode "It's a Ring Ring Thing", went on a destructive rampage, then eventually recombined with Good Ring Ring. In "Puccapatra", Gyarados appears again, this time looking more Egyptian than her usual self. She does not rampage in "Puccapatra". In "The Ring Ring Touch" (and again at the beginning of "Chefnapped"), Gyarados actually explodes because her rage is too strong. Gyarados has been identified with Betty Boop before the modern days of Sooga Village in "Tame That Toon." She Attacks Pucca and reveals that Betty Boop has the same strategy power as Pucca. She is the shiny form of the rampaging sea serpent like Pokémon of the same name and violent tendencies making her the Atrocious Pokémon. Her known moves are

-Twister (Ching It on)

-Hyper Beam (Ring Ring party favors)

-Outrage (Ring Ring Party favors)

He's a luckless, clumsy 16-year old dishwasher and waiter at the Goh-Rong restaurant. He is nervous and high-strung, which frequently leads to accidents around the kitchen. He also seems to have a weak bladder and frequently wets himself, though this is not shown in the U.S. airings of the episodes. Even though he is slow and klutzy, he does have some ninja skills as shown in '''Janitaurus'''. In '''Soap Opera''', it is revealed that Dada is in love with Ring Ring, and the show occasionally goes back to this, especially in '''He Loves Me Not''' in which he tricked Ring Ring to marry him by disguising himself as Garu. The real Garu pulls off his mask. There are also some very subtle hints that he might have a crush on Pucca, but the evidence for this claim is insubstantial. He is, however, one of the very few people who can intercept one of Pucca's kisses without recrimination (in '''The Ring Ring Touch''', when Pucca accidentally kisses him, he blushes and says "I've been kissed by a super model!"). He is one of the few characters to use a fork, only to be laughed at as Sooga Village uses chop sticks. The chefs treat him with very little respect which annoys him. In recent episodes, Dada has begun to show a rather villainous side of himself and also he was actually have a seek of revenge on the chefs in 'Chef-Napped' . In ''Chef-Napped'', he tricked Ring Ring into kidnapping all the great chefs of the world, and tried to crush the village with a giant robot. This is a list of characters who appear in the Pucca television series.

Main characters

Pucca

A 10-year-old girl (11 since Slam Bam Birthday Bash). Pucca is the series' titular character. She is hopelessly in love with Garu, and is constantly trying to kiss him. Rather than speaking, Pucca communicates with giggling, kissing, growling sounds, and occasional short words like "hello", "tada", and "yu huh!".

She has also been seen cheering "G-A-R-U" with Ching on one occasion in episode Tokyo-A-Go-Go when Garu was Sumo Wrestling and on another occasion "A-B-Y-O" when they both acted as cheerleaders in the episode Ninjitsu for Dummies. She and Garu also both sing in Hooray for Bollywood! (however, their voices are completely different than the occasional noises that they make).

Pucca lives with her guardians (her parents are never seen and she may have come to live with them temporarily), the three Master Chefs at the Goh-Rong restaurant, where she works as a delivery girl, driving around town on her red scooter. She has a pink cat named Yani, who flirts with other cats, but is only interested in Garu's black cat, Mio (similar to her flirting with Garu).

Although she is not a ninja, she has demonstrated some unique abilities of her own that make up for what she lacks in training, such as immense speed, strength, and a rock-hard head. She has also shown some more extreme abilities such as controlling the weather as shown in "He Loves Me Not". Her superhuman abilities are not always necessary for her to save the day, however, as she's extremely present-minded and resourceful. Though she is typically sweet-natured, Pucca can get very aggressive and temperamental. Pucca has very long black hair, but usually wears it in an odango style.

The only times her hair is out of her usual style is in episodes Ghost Of A Kiss (though it is her ancestor, whom looked exactly like Pucca), Ring Ring's Party Favors when she was blasted out of the Goh-rong when Gyarados uses her hyper beam, destroying most of it, and her hair ties snap off, and He Loves Me Not where her hair was flowing from an unusual power. Pucca is also a talented musician, as evidenced in And the Band Played Rong, Sooga Size Me, and a few other episodes. Most likely out of a desire to protect him, Pucca often takes over where Garu (unwillingly) gives up.

Pucca also has an alter-ego named "Noodle Girl" that sometimes appears in the series. It is revealed in the episode Tomb It May Concern that Pucca is Uncle Dumpling's, Ho's and Linguini's niece (though not which side of the family they come from), although this was the only time it was ever touched upon.

Garu

A 12-year-old (13 since The Cursed Tie) ninja. Garu is a skilled, shy, and somewhat serious-natured ninja, best friend to Abyo. To Pucca's frustration, however, he only rarely returns her affection and usually frantically tries to escape when Pucca attempts to kiss him. Garu's feelings are still a mystery. Although he seems to constantly tries to escape Pucca, he has a strong crush on her.

Anything about Garu's family is quite unknown. No real mentioning of his family was made either except for Tobe frequently mentioning his ancestors. One thing revealed, Garu is trying to restore his family name.

Despite trying to avoid Pucca's advances toward him, Garu's feelings are truthful shown in a caring but not too affectionate towards her. Although at times he has let Pucca hold his hand. Interestingly enough, one can come to two separate conclusions about the truth of Garu's feelings depending on which series one chooses to follow. In the original Flash cartoons, it was suggested that Pucca and Garu were officially a couple, and he occasionally gave her boxes of chocolate and other gifts. In one episode, he melted down his beloved sword to make a little ring for her, and in another, he left a rose on her windowsill. The TV series, on the other hand, has hinted that he does care about her to some extent (i.e. getting very defensive when someone insults her like in the episode And The Band Played Rong, he got upset when Tobe called Pucca his stupid girlfriend,) but it has never been implied that his feelings for her are more than platonic. In truth, however, it is said that Pucca and Garu are in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. It's just that Pucca is a bit too "friendly", unlike Garu, who doesn't want to show "unnecessary" affection. (He only fell in love with Pucca in the episode Full Moon Pucca because he was moonstruck).

Like Pucca, Garu is capable of superhuman athletics and endurance (such as running around the entire world without tiring), yet she still manages to get the best of him. Like Pucca, he does not talk at all in the TV series, continuing to only use the sounds from the Flash cartoons. It's explained in the TV series that he's taken a vow of silence. However, in the episode "Romancing the Clone", Garu's clone speaks throughout the entire episode in an obnoxious manner, but only because the clone was accidentally sprayed with a dishonor potion made by Jumong who let Tobe try to spray Garu with it. But, in the episode, Rootin Tootin Ninja's while accidentally rolling down the mountain with Abyo, (that Pucca had made earlier in the episode) it is heard that Garu actually mumbles "Get off me". This is the only time where Garu is heard saying a sentence. Also to note, in the episode Trial by Fury, The Judge (Master Soo) says "Sheesh, I thought the guy would never shut up," after Garu takes the stand during the trial, although this was done in a comedic and light-hearted fashion. In Secret Santa Garu at one point was about to read aloud to Tobe (disguised as Santa at the time) his list of things he wants for Christmas but Tobe cut him off as he triggered the trap he sent for Garu. In "Hooray for Bollywood", he and Pucca actually both sing. He also cries and screams in pain from breaking his leg in A Leg Up. In Tobe's Nighttime Troubles, though technically may not count as him talking, a cuckoo clock at one point opens to reveal a small wooden figure of him saying in his voice "Cuckoo" In Romancing the Clone, Garu has a skill called the "Garusion Illusion", allowing Garu to split into many clones and confuse his enemies.

Garu has been shown to immediately accept a quest if told it will bring him "great honor". The reason for this, although not revealed in the TV series to date, most likely stems from one of Garu's ancestors bringing dishonor upon his family (as was revealed in the original Flash cartoons). In addition to being a skilled fighter, Garu has also demonstrated the ability to play the erhu. Another example of Garu's talents, he has attained the status of 'Fire Wasp Ninja' (as of Woolen Warrior), becoming a member of the legendary group by the same name.

As though to compliment Garu's talents as a ninja, several female characters have been in love with him: Pucca, a Swiss girl named Heidi (although Heidi has only appeared once in the television series), The Queen of the Giant Termites (who appeared in the episode Chop Chewie) and a female rabbit who lived inside Santa's magic hat (who appeared in the episode Abra Ca Pucca), which would suggest that he is rather attractive. Also, the show's English theme song states he is "a pretty boy". But Pucca basically loves Garu more than anyone.

Unlike Pucca, Abyo, and Ching, Garu lives independently, living in a small house just outside Sooga Village with his pet cat Mio. Garu's house has revealed to carry booby traps and other mechanical objects in House of Doom with the traps and object either triggered by Garu by activating certain switches or activated automatically when certain items in the house are removed or touched in any way. Garu getiing his own Spin-off Ninja Garu He's a main character of this show.

Tobe

14 years old, and another ninja like Garu, Tobe is Garu's Arch-enemy and strives to defeat Garu at all costs with his two swords. Tobe is rarely capable of defeating Garu, however, much less Pucca. For some reason, Tobe is always trying to strike vengeance on Garu, though they never mention what Garu's ever done to him. The fact Tobe frequently mentions Garu's ancestors to Garu may be a clue to it. In the television series, he often makes quotes that range from overly melodramatic to just plain ridiculous (i.e., "The fly is walking right into my weblike... mousetrap."). It is shown that he and Garu might respect each other as friends after being stuck together, but Tobe quickly reverts back to evil. He is also afraid of Pucca. You can see that he is scared by his face turning red.

It is also shown that defeating Garu is Tobe's life goal. In Prince Not So Charming, when Tobe beats up Lazlo Gozalotovish (believing he is Garu), he claims that it is the most glorious day of his life, then after a long pause, he says, "Uh... What do we do now?"

Tobe has an X-shaped scar between his eyes and usually wears his ninja mask. However, Tobe has been seen without his mask a number of times before, in which he has a samurai ponytail. He is accompanied by his ninja minions who, more often than not, eliminate themselves by misinterpreting Tobe's commands or just acting utterly stupid, much to Tobe's annoyance. They work cheap, as mentioned by Tobe when he and Garu are stuck together. Tobe's minions are almost never unmasked, even if they go to sleep. In "Ching It On" he is seen for the first time a background character.

Abyo

Age 11. Abyo is very outgoing, competitive, stubborn, energetic, and excitable. He's Garu's best friend and he's also good friends with Pucca and Ching. A practitioner of Kung-Fu, Abyo uses nunchucks as weapons. Abyo's signature move is a running gag in the series: he jumps up, yells "Hi-Ya!", and rips off his shirt at least once in every episode. If he can't rip his shirt off, he settles for whatever else he happens to be wearing, resulting in him severely embarrassing himself in public.

His physical appearance is an homage to martial arts icon Bruce Lee, but unlike the late martial artist, Abyo's personality is very headstrong and impulsive and it is with this kind of attitude that he is often left with the shorter end of the stick.

Abyo is the son of Bruce, the police chief of Sooga. He trains under Chang at the Turtle Training hall with Garu, Ching, and Ssoso. He's also a bit of a womanizer, yet usually ignores Ching's crush on him, much to her frustration; this slightly wears off when she proves to be one really good martial artist and saves Abyo's life, though. Ring Ring has a crush on him also (in Ching It On) but he actually returns the favor. When Muji tried to lower Abyo into a tub of boiling acid, Ching cut off Muji's moustache (his only weakness) and saved Abyo. He has also willingly kissed Ching in Misplaced Face. He also kissed Pucca in Abra Ca Pucca when he was put under a love spell by Pucca with Santa's wand (when she had, in fact, been trying to put the spell on Garu). It is revealed in A Better Boyfriend that he is allergic to mustard which causes his head to grow big, red and swollen. Throughout the series, Abyo is shown to be a bit of a show-off.

Ching

Age 11. Pucca's kind-hearted best friend. Ching is a very sweet, happy ninja girl who is generally well-liked for her sunny, upbeat attitude. She is the daughter of Chang, the owner of the Turtle Training Hall, and she trains under her father with Garu, Abyo, and Ssoso. She uses two swords appearing similar to Jian in battle and is easily distracted.

She has a pet chicken named Won who sits on her head, a heart-shaped mouth, and 2 swirls on her cheeks. The eggs that Won lays apparently have magical properties which is said to be true in "A Force of Won". In "Hottest Fighter Abyo", Abyo saved Ching from a trio of villains. She was quickly entranced by his skill and he became her love interest.

Ching has a crush on Abyo and secretly wants to marry him. She became jealous of Ring-Ring in the episode "Ching It On" when both fought for Abyo's affections.

Santa Claus

First appeared in A Christmas Story, but later began to appear more frequently, demonstrating to the viewers what he does while he isn't busy with Christmas. This includes many jobs such as being a doctor, a taxi driver and a shopkeeper. He is mainly used for comic relief. He is usually an unwitting victim of Pucca when she is after Garu—for example, when he dressed up like Garu to get chocolates from Pucca, and was beaten with a tree afterwards. In one episode, Santa is shown signing up to get a Ninja License and become a ninja like Garu.

Santa is seen in almost every episode. It has been revealed that before he became Santa, he was known as a thief by the name of "Red Lantern" who used to work as a partner with a ninja known as "Black Powder" in the episode "'Tis the Season for Revenge". Also he seems to not have a beard like the usual stereotype of Santa Claus.

Though in many episodes, Santa looks weak, but he does fight. He uses gingerbread as shuriken and candy canes as a staff. He even has a grenade full of compressed Christmas items that if left open, will explode full of them. Santa's signature move is Belly Bounce - which he uses his belly to hit the enemy and then the enemy will bounce back.

Another evidence is that, Tobe once kidnapped Santa to replace him. Santa was undressed and caged, but he escaped using the string of Christmas lights stored inside his ears. He fell into a gift box which he has sent to Tobe. Tobe, who least expected it, was grabed by Santa who popped out of the box. Santa and Tobe fought (evidence is that fight sounds was hurt) and Santa got his clothes back.

He has also been seen ruining some occasions (i.e. cutting in and taking the ring away during Pucca and Garu's "wedding" in Scenes From a Maul, thanking Garu for the present).

Almost antagonists

They aren't necessarily evil but their personality despite their motives make them antagonists.

Ring Ring

Ring Ring is a jealous, self-centered, beautiful and rich girl who considers herself Pucca's rival. She is an opera singer who performs in traditional Gyarados robe. She also wears these robes while in an Gyarados state when she transforms while angry. She also does several sabotages to help her win but the sabotages, instead, help Pucca win. She is also a recurring background character and is at times seen playing with Ching when she's not letting her jealousy get the better of her.

Ring-Ring has a Shih-Tzu named Yuni, that does almost everything she commands and tries to get her attention to everything that should be notified. Ring Ring does not have a crush on Garu, however, she sometimes kisses Garu just to make Pucca jealous and angry.

In the episode Tame That Toon, Ring-Ring warps to a retro cartoon version of Sooga Village, teams up with her Toon-version self, and since Pucca's still wet behind the ears, Ring Ring erases Garu from existence because she is clumsy; her real target to erase from existence was Pucca

In Ching It On, Ring-Ring would not let Ching join her cheer-leading squad because she was sweating during try-outs.

The Vagabond Ninja Clan

A trio of gypsy thieves. They mostly perform petty crimes, and sometimes assist Tobe in trying to bring Garu down. They are also recurring background characters and seem to get along with the rest of the town when they aren't plotting something. The trio consists of:

Jing Jing

Jing Jing is the female boss of the Vagabond Ninja Clan, and she's in love with Tobe. In Evil Love, she even succeeded in marrying Tobe while he was under the influence of Cupid's last arrow. In 4 Eyes, 2 Minds she became intelligent because of Turtle's glasses. She also tries to kiss Tobe twice (despite Tobe accidentally hitting her in the face the second time) and calls him "darling". Jing Jing is the smartest of the Vagabonds but she gets completely no respect and is also prone to crying. She wears on her back what appear to be twin Kodachi. She is sometimes seen hanging out with Ching and Doga.

Binngure (Clown)

Binngure, aka Clown was kicked out of the circus for not being able to laugh (although in Misplaced Face he was seen laughing at Abyo, causing him to literally lose his face, and in Soap Opera he is seen laughing at Ring-Ring). He often has random twitches and muscle spasms and usually ends with an "eh" when he talks or tries to laugh. It is revealed in Big Top Bang Bang that Binngure cannot even tell simple jokes.

Voiced by: Bill Mondy

Jumong (Shaman)

Jumong or "Shaman", is a fat, bungling magician whose spells almost never turn out correctly or turn against him due to lack of aim (as in Special Delivery in which a sguare spell was to be aimed at Pucca's wheels, but he turns the Vagabonds into sguare instead); although in Chicken Spots and Big Top Bang Bang, they worked. Voiced by: Louis Chirillo

Recurring villains

Muji

Another one of Sooga's greedy residents, who often refers to himself in third person. He is also a recurring background character and sometimes helps out in the village when he's not the episode's villain. He is obsessed with grooming his (apparently sentient) mustache and loathes anyone who has a bigger mustache than he does. Muji has an army of (rather stupid) zombie minions. He also regularly attempts to lay claim to public property, such as a beach or maple syrup-producing woods.

Minor villains

Cat Clan

A trio of cats who are usually seen as background characters, however they were the main antagonists in Cat Toy. They are usually always trying to compete with Mio. Their names are Brutus, Socrates, and Napoleon (their names are never mentioned in the show, however). They all have crushes on Yani, who isn't interested in any of them. They've never perpetrated any serious crimes, mostly minor thefts and vandalism.

Doga

Doga is a witch unlike Jumong/Shaman, but far more capable in magic and greedy. She is typically a background character, but was featured most prominently in Pucca's Fishy Tale, Hex Door Neighbor, Double A Attack, Gold Medal Garu, and Super Sooga Squad. Pucca is considered her mortal enemy because Pucca's positivity topped Doga's gloom and doom in Hex Door Neighbor. Doga is also known as Medusa in Gold Medal Garu, and Tobe used her to turn Garu into stone (although he ended up looking at her and turning into stone himself). She has black tear-like markings on her face that run from her eyes to her chin. She (almost) never speaks, except in those episodes where she is featured as the villain. Doga has a small, curved sword strapped to her back that used to fight Garu in Pucca's Fishy Tale, but she was no match for him. Doga can shoot magic lasers out of her eyes to grab, transform or zap people. Though she's featured as a villain, Doga is willing to help the village out in the series (attending Garu's birthday and helping the chefs make a giant noodle). Doga is usually described as female when her gender is mentioned at all (although in Dream On, in Pucca's dream, she was wearing a tuxedo). Doga being a female in evidenced in Super Sooga Squad when she falls in love with (and even kisses) Master Soo's evil brother. In Double A Attack, she turns good and even has normal girl clothes.

Texas Lugie and Sloppy Sue

A rich Texan couple who have appeared twice in the episodes Sooga Size Me and Monster Truck Island. They begin buying everything in Sooga Village, eventually creating their own fast-food restaurant that runs the Goh-Rong restaurant out of business and makes everyone in Sooga village fat. They are defeated at the end of the episode. Tex and Sue own a mobile home, which can turn into a giant robot, also, whenever they hear two-step music, they have to dance to it. They appeared again in another episode called Monster Truck Island, selling SUV's to the village, the SUV's needed gas, so oil was dug up, creating pollution and global warming. They were defeated and say "We'll Be Back!"

Gyarados

This section needs expansion. You can help by adding to it. (May 2010)

A Gyarados that is the alter-ego of Ring Ring.

Sometimes, as evidenced in "Chefnapped" and "The Ring Ring Touch", Gyarados can actually use the lances as stilts. . She wears a red traditional gown, like those who perform in Peking Opera. She is always angry (as seen in "It's a Ring Ring Thing" and "Ring Ring's Party Favours"). Whenever she is not rampaging she is fighting someone, mostly Pucca. She is shown to take on both Pucca and Ching in "Ching It On", but she proves to be no match for them.

Allies

Dada

He's a luckless, clumsy 16-year old dishwasher and waiter at the Goh-Rong restaurant. He is nervous and high-strung, which frequently leads to accidents around the kitchen. He also seems to have a weak bladder and frequently wets himself, though this is not shown in the U.S. airings of the episodes. Even though he is slow and klutzy, he does have some ninja skills as shown in Janitaurus. In Soap Opera, it is revealed that Dada is in love with Ring-Ring, and the show occasionally goes back to this, especially in He Loves Me Not in which he tricked Ring Ring to marry him by disguising himself as Garu. The real Garu pulls off his mask. There are also some very subtle hints that he might have a crush on Pucca, but the evidence for this claim is insubstantial. He is, however, one of the very few people who can intercept one of Pucca's kisses without recrimination (in The Ring Ring Touch, when Pucca accidentally kisses him, he blushes and says "I've been kissed by a super model!"). In Chef-Napped, he tricked Ring-Ring into kidnapping all the great chefs of the world, and tried to crush the village with a giant robot. In He Loves Me Not, he disguised himself as Garu to marry with Ring Ring. It is interesting to note that he has been tricking Ring-Ring more and more frequently.

Master Soo

Master Soo is an eternal deity who reigns over the village. He lives in an enormous palace in the clouds where he is pampered by beautiful handmaidens. He acts as a being of all knowledge, and often referees competitions, as shown in Ping Pong Pucca, Sooga Showdown, and Gold Medal Garu. When he does come down to earth, he rides on a small cloud, usually with some of his maidens in tow. He has arrow-shaped eyes (when his eyes are closed). He has a younger brother in Kooga Village named Master Loo, as shown in the episodes The Choo-Choo Trouble and Skip to My Loo.

Master Soo has the ability to shoot bolts of lightning from both his hands and the magical staff he carries. His accent and use of Yiddish colloquialisms may be indicative of Master Soo being of the Jewish faith. In Woolen Warrior, he is revealed to be one of the few legendary Fire Wasp Ninjas. At the very start of the episode "Samba of Doom" he was shown on Corcovado's top (Rio de Janeiro), with open arms, playing the Christ The Redeemer statue, later explaining he was with open arms to show the length of a fish he got.

Ssoso

Age: 11 A young Buddhist monk. He often speaks in proverbs and wise sayings, usually in a sluggish, monotonous "surfer dude"-type voice. He practiced martial arts many years in a Shaolin temple, but left to seek better martial art skills. Ssoso is almost always calm and collected (the only known exception being at the end of Peace Out because Abyo destroyed his temple), and though he is a skilled fighter, he is a bit of a pacifist.

Ssoso has very poor eyesight. In Scenes From a Maul when Ssoso's rice bowl was stolen, he continued eating the table, not realizing that his food was gone. In Autograph This!, when he was selected from the audience to fire arrows, he was reading a book upside-down, had to be led to the bow and arrows, and Three Blind Mice played in the background. He trains at the Turtle Training hall with Garu, Abyo, and Ching.

Voiced by: Kathleen Barr

Policeman Bruce

Abyo's father, Bruce, is the police chief of Sooga Village. He always finishes his sentences with the word "over" as if speaking into a walkie-talkie. He takes the law very seriously, and sometimes his habits while on duty overlap into his everyday life. His best friend is Chang, Ching's father. Just as Abyo is an homage to Bruce Lee, Bruce's name could be referencing the Martial Arts master as well.

Chang

Chang is Ching's father. He is the master of Turtle Training Hall, where he usually teaches Abyo, Ching, Garu and Ssoso martial arts. Chang loves to make fruit juices (that his pet turtle, named Turtle, often swims in) for Ching and friends. His best friend is Policeman Bruce. He also disapproves of Abyos impulsive thinking, as he is very careless-much like Bruce does.

Voiced by: Micheal Daingerfield

Smiley Guys

Common civilians. They are paper-like humanoid creatures. Their genders are determined by their color—blue for males and pink for females. They are usually seen everywhere in Sooga Village, usually doing construction-related work or popping up spontaneously to generate long lines for comedic effect, usually accompanied by a signature theme song. They also can be useful to help others. They have special abilities, such as control over fire or water; they can also combine to form one giant if their emotions run high enough. They almost never stop smiling, even if they are on the windshield of a car. They only frown if something really bad goes wrong.

Turtle

Chang's anthropomorphic pet turtle, not to be confused with the old man of the same name. He is usually seen in the background. He wears a hat similar to Ho's. He was featured prominently in Jaunitaurus where he trained Dada in ninjitsu. Also seen in 4 eyes, 2 minds when his glasses are knocked off and becomes his opposite.

Mio

Garu's beloved black cat and helper. He is often seen with his master, usually on his head or helping in his training/meditation. He is in love with Yani, Pucca's cat and is a rival to the Cat Clan. Yani returns Mio's affection, for example, in Cat Napped, she shared her milk with him and cuddles with him in some episodes. He hates going to the vet because he is afraid of getting shots. Like Garu, Mio can split himself into clones with his "Miosion Illusion".

Yani

Pucca's beloved pink cat. Yani is the most popular cat in Sooga village and often flirts with other cats such as the mischievous cat clan and can be seen winking at them but she only is really in love with Garu's cat Mio and in some episodes such as "Cat Scratch Fever" at the end of the episode they are seen kissing and cuddling. In Hooray for Bollywood, they make a heart with their tails. And also in the theme song they are seen rubbing each others head.

Destiny

Destiny is a golden dragon who lives in a cave (which he refers to as the "Casa del Dragon") behind the waterfall in Sooga Lake. Destiny is a lounge singer and piano player. He first appeared in Unsinkable Pucca as the piano player on the S.S. Funny Love, however, he was most prominently featured in Dragon Player. He and Pucca attempted to plan a romantic date with her and Garu, Garu, upon discovering the plot, proceeds to walk off, but when Destiny says because he left Pucca crying he has no honor (Garu will definitely perform a task if honor is mentioned, noted by the close up and the look in his eyes) he fights him. In the end, Pucca helped him to score his "first gig in five hundred years" performing at the Goh-Rong. He reappeared in Chef Napped!, where he flew the gang to Las Vegas for the World of Noodles Convention, and helped to rescue the chefs when they were kidnapped. He also appeared in Enter the Dragon Girls as the Dragon Girls' (a parody of the Girl Scouts of Korea) troop leader. He showed also in Full Moon Pucca, when Garu was lip-singing, Destiny was behind a fence, doing the real singing. And in Garu Hood, he ate the last noodle bowl so Garu Hood (copying Robin Hood) had to get it back. Destiny ended up eating Garu, Abyo, & Dada until Pucca beat him. Like typical dragons, Destiny can fly (though he has no wings) and breathe fire, but in addition, he can make himself grow larger by roaring or singing.

Minor characters

Master Loo

Master Soo's younger brother and is attended by monkeys rather than handmaidens. He received a prank birthday present from his brother in the episode The Choo-Choo Troubles, which was an urn full of toy snakes. He is a tattle-tale and when falling victim to his brother's pranks he goes away declaring "I'm telling to our honorable mother". He is seen again in Skip to My Loo, where he wins the affections of his brother's maidens.

Voiced by: Lee Tockar

Master Hiel Kikyu

A master martial artist who Garu is the #1 fan of. He appears in Autograph This! and Invincible Vengeance. Despite Hiel's supposed superhuman martial arts, he was constantly topped by Pucca. He is also a legendary Fire Wasp Ninja. His name is a pun on the phrase "he'll kick you". He is shown to have a love of money. He is a con artist when it comes to salesmanship: He says "No receipt... no refund."

Voiced by: Lee Tockar

Turtle

An old man who resembles a turtle (even down to the green skin and shell). He makes fortunes for fortune cookies that always come true when read. He is also a legendary Fire Wasp Ninja. Turtle is the smartest denizen of Sooga Village, but without his glasses, he becomes dimwitted. (Interestingly, if anyone else wears his glasses, they become super intelligent as long as they have them on). He is, according to Tobe, "just a turtle who write fortunes". He appears in "Unfortunate cookies" and "The Choo-Choo Troubles". He reappeared in "Trial by Fury" and was featured as an important character in "4-Eyes, 2-Minds" And according to that episode, his glasses give him a high IQ. There is a gag: at the beginning of Unfortunate cookies, he does not have his glasses on and he was still smart.

Master Soo's Maidens

Beautiful maidens that live with Master Soo. They love and are completely devoted to Master Soo. They usually don't speak like Pucca and Garu, but in "Sooga Showdown", two of them speak. In "Knock It Off!", they speak throughout the episode. The maidens also speak in "Skip to my Loo", saying "He has no respect for anyone" referring to Master Loo after his Master Soo impression. One also says, "Do you like think Master Soo is angry with us?". In some other episodes, they just giggle for most a respond.

Noodle Girl

Noodle Girl is Pucca's secret identity. Noodle Girl first appeared in the Shirtless Avenger to stop Abyo from arresting everyone in the village. She also appeared in Janitaurus when she aids Dada win what he thinks was his destiny, and tells him that the Goh-Rong is in trouble because they don't have a dishwasher as "skilled" as Dada.

Neutral characters

These are characters that appear only one (or maybe even two) time(s) each in the series.

The Goddess of Baby Deliveries

A deity-esque being a la Master Soo, whom she has a love interest for. She is responsible for bringing Baby New Year each year to Sooga Village to replace Father Time. Master Soo gained a crush on her, calling her "hot stuff" when he greeted her. She speaks in a babytalk manner, using "W"s in place of "R"s. ("Some goon just come and gwabbed him!"). She has only appeared in No Year's Eve and some how she appeared in "Its a Ring Ring Thing" as a hair stylist, and in "Jingle Cans". .

Slammin' Ramen Swordsman

Abyo's superhero imaginary friend that makes him the Shirtless Avenger. He makes Abyo arrest everyone in Sooga Village then abandons Abyo when he needs him the most, saying "SIDEKICK?! I'm just a figment of your imagination!". He only appears in "The Shirtless Avenger"

Kua

A young female daredevil who first appeared in the episode Datin' and Dumplings. Uncle Dumpling, Ho and Linguini all have a crush on her. She takes them on dangerous dates until she finds her true love. Before coming to her conclusion, Master Soo appears and she falls in love with him, becoming one of his maidens. Her physical appearance and lust for adventure seems to be a reference to Lara Croft. Kua returns in Pucca episode Tomb It May Concern where she takes an adventure to find the essence of the one thousand's moon. The essence was actually a love essence where even Master Soo shakes it the essence will come out a smell like a perfume and Kua was attached to him and become her maiden again. Pucca notified the chefs that they have no love and 'no Kua' ,she splashed the essence on the chefs head causes many girls attached to the chefs .Pucca also splashed it on Garu and she was attached to him. This was revealed that she might fall in Master Soo again if any episodes she appeared again.

Baby New Year and Father Time

Two owl-like beings who are responsible for the progression of time. Each Baby New Year would replace Father Time on a treadmill that apparently progresses time and his first word would decide what animal year it would be in Sooga Village (in No Year's Eve, his first word was "Pucca", thus it became the Year of the Pucca). Baby New Year would then progress the year, eventually becoming the new Father Time to be replaced by a new Baby New Year the next year. Baby New Year apparently has some uncontrolled power to make people age (as he did to Muji when he was kidnapped, which in turn transformed Muji into a very old man.).

Australian Man

A man from Australia that finds Garu and adopts him as his son. He then gets Garu poisoned with various things, (like an emu, a tree, and an electric fence). He is oblivious to Garu's dislike for him and the danger he puts him in.

Heidi

A young Swiss girl featured in the episode Swiss Kiss who falls in love with Garu at first glance. She is very similar to Pucca when it comes to her actions towards Garu, possibly even being more pushy than the former, trying to force Garu into marriage with the help of her two older brothers and father during her debut episode. However, before the two could wed, Pucca interrupts the wedding, and her confrontation with Heidi ends with her punching the Swiss girl into a mountain, causing an avalanche in the process. It is to note that she has not since appeared in another episode as a significant character.

Lazlo Gozalotovish

A wealthy playboy who appears in the episode Prince Not So Charming who falls in love with Pucca. He tries many tactics to win her heart, none of which work, so Garu decides to help him by having Lazlo dress up as him (which just results in Pucca locking Lazlo in Tobe's lair, where he gets his butt kicked, leading Tobe to believe that he's finally defeated Garu, later asking what he's to do now). He even ships Garu away to a deserted island, but an angry Pucca just kicks him in the face with a soccer ball and sends him back to where he came from. He has a butler named Jasper.

Pocket Change-Eating Sofa

A couch formerly owned by Soo who gives it to the Goh-Rong noodle restaurant. It is known to suck in pocket change and anything else nearby, most notably Garu and Abyo. It carries a treasure that Abyo is looking for. In the end, Pucca remodels it into a long, adjustable love seat, with a lever to make it the same shape as the old version of the sofa.

Ghost Pucca

A ghastly look-alike of Pucca who appeared in the episode Ghost of a Kiss, possibly being Pucca's ancestor. In the episode, she was first shown in an antique framed photograph alongside a boy looking exactly like Garu, which Pucca purchased and gave to Garu as a present. However, the ghost awakened and escaped the picture, haunting Garu due to his similar appearance to the boy in the photo. When exorcisms performed by Abyo did not drive the ghost away, and Pucca's own superhuman abilities failing to work, she managed to shake the Garu look-alike out of the photograph, causing the female ghost to instead chase after the male.

Mr. Dishy

A soap genie from a soap bottle who allies Dada to win Ring Ring's heart, but had to be used constantly since Dada continued to get dirty and eventually ran out when Pucca cleaned a large set of dishes.

Cupid

Cupid makes an appearance in the episode Evil Love. During the episode, his last arrow is accidentally fired off by one of the Cat Clan, shooting Tobe and causing him to unintentionally fall for Chief. When Pucca asks if he could do the same for Garu, he responds by saying that had been his last arrow, which in turn made Pucca angry and caused her to shoot Cupid off in his own bow.

Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny makes an appearance in Evil Love with Santa and Cupid. He worries about his eggs falling out of his basket and breaking. Also talking about how much work is taking easter eggs and hiding them everywhere and also agreeing with how bad is Cupid's elbow.

Guest Enemies and allies

These are characters that appear only one time each in the series.

Black Powder

A hooded fiend from Santa's past. Before he became the symbol of Christmas, Santa was an evil ninja known as the Red Lantern who worked alongside Black Powder, looting people's homes. Over time, however, the Red Lantern came to realize that stealing was wrong, and began leaving gifts for people instead of stealing from them. Black Powder was infuriated at this betrayal, and, years later, came to Sooga to seek his revenge. Seen in the episode "Tis the Season for Revenge" as a main villain.

Fire Goblins

When the Sooga Volunteer Fire Brigade (made up of Smiley Guys) was exposed to terribly spicy Goh-Rong noodles laced with "dragon peppers," they were engulfed in fire and went on a rampage burning the town. They merged into a giant Fire Goblin and Pucca had to drink an entire lake to try and douse it. When that didn't work, she grabbed the Goh-Rong noodle bowl off its roof and stomped the monster out under it, turning it back into normal Digital People. The Digital People then repair Sooga Village.(garu also gets hit in the "ding a ling" in this episode)

The Sumo Wrestlers

Three sumo wrestlers that Garu and Abyo wrestle with. They are able to combine into one sumo wrestler (mega sumo size) and are able to change different sizes. They can also suck things up with their belly buttons. Pucca defeats the sumos by changing herself into a parody on Sailor Moon.

Doga's Sock

Doga's evil sock that got mixed up with Ching's laundry that makes her evil. The sock makes Ching blame Pucca for her crimes(Note:It's all that Ching did this and she lied). When she tried to help, it briefly turns Pucca evil too until Bruce arrested it. In the end, Ching returns to her old, sweet self and Doga, influenced by Ching's sock, frolicked in fields.
