The objectivity of this page is clearly in question. Any discussion of Koran burning, crime rates, and racial conflict are removed from both page and discussion. POV warnings are taken down against Wiki policy. This page deserves a POV warning. I have a PhD in American history from the University of Florida. Yes, please keep an eye on this page. It is a booster page, nothing more. I am still blocked for insisting on this POV. | |||
Can you keep an eye on this page? I'm well past 3RR (although vandalism is exempt, and I think his edits qualify as such), and nobody seems to be responding to the RFPP and SPI requests I filed. or
That's thank you, from A to Z (by word or language). Sometimes I'm not good about thanking folks who thank me for my aimless fiddling around on Misplaced Pages. So in case I do forget, this should cover it. If you'd like more words of appreciaton, find them here.
Hey, they even have translations of the classic My hovercraft is full of eels!
Here (and on my user page) are a few of the photos I've taken in my NRHP roadtrips. More to be found here.
Also, if you have an issue with me on Misplaced Pages, please comment here on Misplaced Pages. Not on Wikicommons, not on WikiVoyage, not on the Tardis Wikia. Here. Or not at all.

Ben Affleck
As someone who has made over 35 edits to Ben Affleck and has edited the page within the last year, I would like to call your attention to a discussion at Misplaced Pages:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2011_March_20#Template:Ben_Affleck.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 19:40, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
More photos taken
Just got back from Miami and the Keys. Hundreds of pics to sort through and upload, should take a while. Btw, I've now been to, and take photos in, every county in Florida. So huzzah! :) --Ebyabe (talk) 14:44, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
Service award level
There has been a major revision of the the Service Awards: the edit requirements for the higher levels have been greatly reduced, to make them reasonably attainable.
Because of this, your Service Award level has been changed, and you are now eligible for a higher level. I have taken the liberty of updating your award on your user page.
Herostratus (talk) 06:22, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
Actually, with your very high number of edits, you must have been eligible anyway, but you're eligible for the next level due to time in harness so I updated you anyway while I was here. And you'll be eligible for the next level in about a month. Thank you for your many contributions to the Misplaced Pages! Herostratus (talk) 06:22, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks! Who knew? :) --Ebyabe (talk) 12:22, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
Florida State League (Baseball)
I don't know if you are a fan of minor league baseball - but the Florida State League is about to start its season next month. Many of the teams need photos (I'll take care of the Daytona Cubs) Gamweb (talk) 22:05, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
- List of FSL teams
- Actually, I'm not a sports fan at all. My mom was the sports fan of the family, yelling at the TV and everything. If I happen to be in the neighborhood of any of them, I'll see what I can get. Don't forget to put photo requests for them on their talk pages, if you haven't already. That'll let others know. :) --Ebyabe (talk) 23:55, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

- Looks like he's been blocked for a day, so you can take a rest. And the dude is quite misinformed. Ocala, where I live now, is the hotbed of racism, not Gainesville. At least that's what the lawyers for Wesley Snipes were telling a judge to try to get the trial moved. Didn't work, by the by. --Ebyabe (talk) 18:00, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
- Let's hope he doesn't pick up tomorrow. I have a full load of classes tomorrow (four classes, spanning six hours, with one break in between. I'll not be available to undue his nonsense if he's back after the block expires. Unfortunately, this guy seems to be pretty persistent; he first started this nonsense in February, and the latest stunt by the people at that damn church seems to have set him off again. And I remember the whole Wesley Snipes thing; I rolled my eyes then, too. Horologium (talk) 18:13, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
- We'll manage somehow. I can report him just like you did. If he keeps this up (which seems likely), he'll just get indef blocked anyway. --Ebyabe (talk) 18:35, 4 April 2011 (UTC)

Florida
Happy to pitch in. It's always good to have a second set of eyes review these things with all the details involved. Great work with all the photos. I'm slowly but surely making my way through the Bay Area. Now that it's finally stopped raining here, I plan to get back out there with my camera in tow. --sanfranman59 (talk) 03:12, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
- The temperatures generally stay pretty moderate in the Bay Area throughout the year. It gets hot up in Sonoma and Napa and east of the Oakland Hills during the summer months, but it's very dry. Nothing like Florida's insane summer heat and humidity. As far as I'm concerned, we've got just about perfect weather here. It makes me crazy when I hear people complain that it's too hot (i.e. anything over 70) or too cold (anything under 60). I tell people to go live just about anywhere else in the U.S. for a year and then see if they still want to complain about our weather. --sanfranman59 (talk) 03:44, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
