Welcome!
Hello, SeoMac, and welcome to Misplaced Pages! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Misplaced Pages

- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. before the question. Again, welcome! Victuallers (talk) 13:16, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
Regarding your message: Thanks! I was using Huggle, so I only reverted the blatant vandalism. I didn't notice any more in the diff. You were doing a nice job with your edits on the previous vandalism and on improving the article, by the way. Keep it up! Krashlandon 19:51, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
Jaffrey
Hi - Thanks for the message. Usually when an anonymous editor changes a date like that without any supporting reference, I just change it back and indicate I was reverting an uncited change. Your way of finding the reference is much superior, so I appreciate the effort you put into it! --Ken Gallager (talk) 14:17, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
Vietnamese?
I have to agree with you. I have no idea how to create an edit for someone else on another language without their mistake or their password. I'm curious as to how you spotted it? I wonder if you might do me a favour if you are intrigued. I'm running this and we plan to have a multi lingual challenge. Could you create a Chinese stub for the museum article? I see you have some abilities there Don't worry if you are busy too but it would be intriguing, even if it is not perfect. Victuallers (talk) 17:14, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks. I went into my user page, then My Contributions and then Global Contributions. I scrolled down through my bunched edits for each language-- no surprises until the end, when I found an entry for the VI project. I clicked through to the article. Once there, I checked View History (which is not in Eng., but is in the same place on the page, of course), and saw an edit for SeoMac. It must have been simply the most recent one on the Eng. article Galerga at the time the Vietnamese article on Galerga was created. Strange. A simple stub for the Derbyshire Museum might be possible: don't have a program for characters, but there's cut and paste. (That's how I've dealt with characters so far.) Thanks for replying. ZéroBot
Salut! SeoMac (d) 25 juillet 2011 à 05:30 (CEST) (moved from fr.wikipedia)
- Thank you for your rapport. In fact, this is not an error since the bot checked this page just when the vandal redirected the page Nancy Pelosi to The Witch of San Francisco. I've made the bot correct this on all wikis where this article is present… Regards, Toto Azéro 15:46, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, Toto Azéro. Merci. I'm glad that it could be corrected globally. I realized that you and your bot did not know that vandalism was involved. SeoMac (talk) 18:23, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
Re: IP address
Re your message: The blocking of the IP was due to an autoblock of the IP used by the blocked account MnZemike. Publicly accessible IP addresses do have a higher chance of being autoblocked because vandals like to use these open access computers. Editors who find themselves blocked through an autoblock can request an unblock through the {{unblock-auto}} template. If you find yourself repeated autoblocked, you can ask for an IP block exemption. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 20:38, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
