Skandar Amin Casper Keynes (born September 5, 1991) is an English actor. He is perhaps best known for starring as Edmund Pevensie in the 2005 film version of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. He will appear in the film's sequel, currently scheduled for release in December of 2007.

Keynes was born in London to writer Randal Keynes and Zelfa Cecil Hourani. His maternal grandfather, Cecil Fadlo Hourani, was a famous writer of Lebanese descent, and the brother of Albert Hourani, also a well-known writer and professor. Through his father, Skandar is the great-great-great grandson of the famous scientist Charles Darwin, and is also an Atheist. He has an older sister, Soumaya Keynes, who has appeared in various productions for Radio 4. Keynes attended the Anna Scher Theatre School from 2000 to 2005 and currently attends the City of London All Boys School (which is also currently attended by actor Daniel Radcliffe).

Keynes studies Tae Kwon Do and plays the cornet and the flute. Since his voice broke during the filming of The Chronicles of Narnia, Soumaya, his sister, had to voice some of his lines.
