Ann Herendeen

Hi, I see you have tagged Ann Herendeen's page and I would like to resolve what you consider the problems and remove those tags. BelindaEdgeworth (talk)

Well, let's start with the extraordinary claim that "queering" the Regency novel was innovative in 2005! I don't know how young Herendeen is (this "article" omits trivia like that, concentrating solely on selling her books), but that trope goes at least as far back as Victoria Ramstetter's 1981 The Marquise and the Novice, which we reviewed on the old Sunrise Book Review TV show back in the 1980s.
And since I've brought it up: who is Herendeen? Where did she go to school? What does she do for a living? This is a biography, not a sales pitch (or at least it's supposed to be). --Orange Mike | Talk 14:02, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

1. The Marquise and the Novice is not a genre romance, but an historical novel, (post-modern Gothic pastiche).

2. Herendeen is a novelist from NY who went to Princeton University.

Her work has been nominated for a Lambda Literary Award (Pride/Prejudice), (flatteringly) noted in Salon by Laura Miller (Pride/Prejudice), and is referenced in The Cambridge History of the American Novel (Phyllida and the Brotherhood of Philander). Page 857:

"The first novel of Ann Herendeen, Phyllida and the Brotherhood of Phlander (2005) is a Regency romance, with a bisexual hero who courts and marries both a heterosexual woman, and, with her consent and the help of a ‘molly chaplain’ (a term for a cleric who performs mock weddings for gay men), a homosexual hero. To create a companionate union, the hero must reocognize his love for his wife (in addition to, not instead of, his long-acknowledged love for the man he will also marry), he must learn techniques appropriate for sex with a female partner, and he must revise his idea of 'family' to include two spouses. Herendeen, who has named as her literary forebear Georgette Heyer, the mother of the Regency romance, explains in the preface of Phyllida and the Brotherhood of Philander (2008) that she consciously adopted the typical Regency tone, 'blithe comedy with sparkling dialogue' and the subgenre’s typical characters, aristocrats who were 'the ultimate in glamorous sophistication.' In this novel, sentimental values domesticate sexual practices and family structures that were (and still are in some cases) against the law. Novels like Phyllida show that the romance novel, once derided for its heteronormative ideology, is proving more inclusive than society at large." - Pamela Regis, "Female Genre Fiction in the 20th Century", The Cambridge History of the American Novelhttp://www.cambridge.org/gb/knowledge/isbn/item5636084/?site_locale=en_GBBelindaEdgeworth (talk)

The detailed Regis citation is just the kind of thing we need: thanks for the specifics. (I knew about the Lambda.) In my opinion, the Ramstetter novel was intended to be of the genre, and certainly strove (successfully or not) for the proper Heyerish tone. As to biography: we look for the usual things here, which seem to be missing: what does the subject do for a living (few novelists make a living that way); what high school did she attend; is she married, if so is the spouse notable, does she/do they have children? What ideologies and affiliations has she professed? What does she do besides write? I'm not expecting as much as we have on Doris Lessing, Suzette Haden Elgin, Sheri Tepper or James Tiptree Jr., but a writer exists in a cultural context, and did not spring full-grown from the breast of Alma Mater! The requisites for notability are clearly there; we just need to trim back some of the press-release and blurbish content, to achieve the proper neutral tone and point of view. --Orange Mike | Talk 20:47, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

Thanks, it seems to me to be neutral now (you objected to "innovative" and I changed it to "atypical", which is indisputable.) I am sure you will understand my concern, because I originated this page, that the tags imply an accusation against the Living Person who is its topic, Ann Herendeen, who had nothing to do with the page except for supplying, at my request when I emailed her, a few pieces of factual info~(her Princeton education, and some specifics about the original subsidy edition before Harper Collins issued Phyllida.) I have no connection to her or her publisher; the page was not conceived as marketing or advertising for Herendeen - though there can be no doubt that all encyclopedias publicize their content - but as information connected to and illustrating trends of some significance concerning sexuality in popular culture. I am sorry if my enthusiasm for the subject slanted the article, but I think that is repaired now. And as for biographical information, there is no published biography of Ann Herendeen, so I don't know how I could verify and source the sorts of personal details you are looking for without doing "original research" and violating "WP:NOR" as well as her privacy. BelindaEdgeworth (talk) 21:47, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

And as for "ideologies and affiliations", I think the article situates her project through one published quote regarding her aims and a section of Regis' remarks in the Cambridge History of the American Novel. Herendeen has lectured about her genre, and I will try to obtain some material from her lectures or essays to elaborate this aspect of the topic, but I do not see why the tags denouncing the article as of disputed neutrality and "reading like an advertisement" should remain until I can enrich it with material from her critical commentaries. These seem to be distinct problems. I hope you will consider removing those headers. BelindaEdgeworth (talk) 22:29, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

Well, clearly we're working towards the same goal here. The personal details are part of what we always look for in a well-rounded biographical (as opposed to bibliographical) article. My hope is that she's given some interviews in which this kind of detail appears (I forgot to ask about date of birth, a bog-standard fixture in biographies).
I also want to add my embarrassed apology for somehow conflating The Marquise and the Novice with the book I meant: the 1986 Naiad Press publication Pembroke Park by Michelle Martin (novelist), who also wrote traditional Regencies for Fawcett Crest back in the day! Sadly, we have articles neither on Martin nor on Pembroke Park. --Orange Mike | Talk 23:24, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

Thanks very much OrangeMike. I'll have to hunt up this Pembroke Park. BelindaEdgeworth (talk) 23:54, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

During Women's History Month, I'd like to enjoy this chance to assert that a case can be made for the novel Pembroke Park, if not the novelist, as notable enough for an article. It's been mentioned in a few histories of GLBT images in genre fiction, I believe. --Orange Mike | Talk 23:58, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

Hey Orange Mike, do you think the citations are adequate now to remove the flag? BelindaEdgeworth (talk) 23:36, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

April Masini

Hi OrangeMike! I wonder if you might be willing to help me? I am going crazy trying to properly list two pdf files on the April Masini page as references and cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it. A Quest For Knowledge was kind enough to help me post the Governor of Hawaii's Proclamation of June 4th, "Al and April Masini Day", and I don't want to bother him again.

If you happen to have a spare moment, the two pdf files are currently in my sandbox. They are also posted on the April Masini delete discussion page, albeit improperly I'm embarrassed to admit. (I was didn't know what else to do in response to MrRichValentine's assertion regarding the Governor's proclamation.)

The first file I need to post on the April Masini article is from Imi Loa Magazine, Remaking Government Renewing Hawaii, Turning the Tide. This magazine is put out by the Office of the Governor of Hawaii. And while the entire article is very valable in substantiating April Masini's work, the most essential quote is, ""Masini, who along with her husband Al have almost single-handedly revived Hawaii's television industry, made a pitch for Baywatch to make Hawaii it's new home." This article vividly demonstrates the work April Masini did and (I hope) will put an end to some of the naysayers comments regarding her ex-husband.

The second pdf contains 3 pages taken from the 1998 Miss Universe Hawaii Official Program and further substantiates April Masini's role. This one is important for those like MrRichValentine who do not believe a proclamation from the Governor of Hawaii is enough to prove credibility.

Any help you might be willing to offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance OrangeMike. Jennyspencer (talk) 13:17, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

We can't link to scans like those, since they 1) could have been tampered with; and 2) are copyright violations. (And as somebody who has occasionally helped get a Proclamation from a public official, I assure you: they are not evidence of much of anything except that somebody knew somebody in the right place in the right office.) --Orange Mike | Talk 13:44, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for taking the time to respond MikeOrange. I'm sorry to learn you are not willing to have an open mind towards further examining the topic. However, just fyi as this one quote illustrates, April Masini really did do the work -- as much as you guys appear to all want to say otherwise. http://archives.starbulletin.com/98/04/22/features/memminger.html "The point was driven home when April -- who has been working daily on it until 3 a.m. -- attempted to describe all the work that has been done and is yet to be done and broke down momentarily, unable to go on. Al stepped in and carried the ball until she was recomposed. If anyone at the press conference at first didn't believe the pageant organizers were putting their hearts and souls into this project, they became believers after that." Thanks again. Deletion of Víkingur Ólafsson entry.

Greetings! As I looked up Icelandic classical pianist Vikingur Olafsson (Víkingur Heiðar Ólafsson) I found out that an entry on him had recently been deleted by you (a7).

While I very much appreciate your "deletionist" general policy (as explained on your user profile), I would argue this entry belongs in Misplaced Pages. The distinction may be a foggy one, but my stance is that this is indeed an artist of significance - at least if we regard the multiple other young artists whose entries remain on Misplaced Pages as significant. I didn't get a chance to see the original article, but I'd be happy to edit it and add citations to neutral sources.

Vikingur (I'm using his first name in line with the Icelandic patronymic tradition) is a three-fold recipient of the Icelandic Music Awards (twice as Performer of the Year, once as Brightest Prospect) and can thus be safely said to be one of the best known and celebrated classical musicians in Iceland. He's released two solo CD's (I'm not sure if adding links to reviews here is appropriate - nudge me if I should) and has a budding international career, having performed with renowned artists such as Björk, Martin Fröst, Vladimir Ashkenazy and others (again, not sure whether this is the right place to dump citations and links - but these can be confirmed both at Vikingur's own website http://vikingurolafsson.com and at neutral sources (news archives, etc.).

I suggest the entry be reinstated. Best wishes (and apologies for any errors I've made as a novice in the Misplaced Pages community)

Karlheinzklopweisser (talk) 14:10, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

I'd suggest you start a new article from scratch. The deleted article by User:Vikingur.olafsson boiled down to a list of where he went to school and who he studied with, and the locations of two performances he put on (his debut and his New York debut); plus an obscure award he won back home. It did nothing to show or assert notability. We need solid sources (nothing from his own website); we need information on what label released those CDs (i.e., if they are self-published, that's no evidence of notability); we need information on these awards you cite (there is no article at present on the Icelandic Music Awards, so that's a pretty feeble claim to notability).
If you'd like to improve the English-language coverage of Icelandic performers, you might want to start with an article on the Icelandic Music Awards, then go from there. The articles in the Icelandic Misplaced Pages would probably be a good place to start. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:29, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

Many thanks for your excellent points. I shall do what I can. I have one other quick question before I start - to avoid the pitfalls of the previous entry writer. Regarding notability of performance locations - do performances at prestigious, highly selective venues never count as clues to notability? What about when performances at prestigious venues take place as parts of high-profile events or with prestigious collaborators, such as orchestras or conductors? Very many thanks for your help again. Karlheinzklopweisser (talk) 14:54, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

I'd start by reading our guide to notability for musicians. Remember that notability is not contagious: you can play at a prestigious venue, or be on the stage with a notable performer, without "catching" their notability. As the bizarre career of the American singer Mrs. Miller brings out, anybody can book a hall if it's going to be dark otherwise. --Orange Mike | Talk 15:02, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

You're quite right, haha. But this can be tricky - in the classical world at least, many are "guilty by association" of notability, as who you perform with (especially when you perform with them repeatedly) very much defines your status (The logic running like this: If, say, Daniel Barenboim thinks Person X is good enough to collaborate with again and again, Person X must be pretty good). But I better err on the side of caution - thanks ever so much for the guidelines link. I'll plunge in. Karlheinzklopweisser (talk) 15:27, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

thanx orangemike

Page Deleted

Hi there,

The page I created "Trade Tech Inc" was deleted because the information was perceived as advertising. Is it possible to edit this? I have created a new description that follows the wiki guidelines.

Thanks, — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.150.167.227 (talk) 18:52, 27 March 2012 (UTC)

Well, the item that was deleted was totally unsalvageable, and the information was perceived as advertising is a lie: there was no information. It was an embarassingly shameless promotional hard-sell, full of meaningless buzzwords like "solutions" and faux folksiness such as first-naming the principals of the company. If you're the person who wrote it, I fear I am rather dubious that you are capable of doing the necessary hard work of creating an impartial description. Have you read our standards for notability of corporations? Our Manual of Style? Our rules about editors with conflicts of interest; or our guidelines as to best practices for editors with conflict of style? --Orange Mike | Talk 19:00, 27 March 2012 (UTC)

Milton William Cooper

My edit of the wiki information regarding William Cooper was reverted. The person who wrote the wiki review, butchered the English language to the point the information presented is intelligible. Why does wiki have someone writing a master article regarding William Cooper, who could not pass basic elementary English? Further, the epitome of ignorance is to comment on a book one has never read, yet that is exactly what the reviewer did regarding the book, Behold a Pale Horse, written by William Milton Cooper. The review is pathetic, siting unsubstantiated random opinions. The reviewer appears barely literate and his credentials are non-existent. --68.231.20.254 (talk) 19:12, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

Your edit was an unsubstantiated attack on another person, something we try to keep out of this project. As to the other matters: we don't hold much to credentialism here. Given your inability to distinguish between "cite" and "site", between Misplaced Pages and a wiki, I'd suggest that you should be cautious about criticizing other editors. --Orange Mike | Talk 19:42, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

I discovered my minor usage error and repaired it prior to reading your response. You avoided the fact that the Wiki description of William Cooper, is nothing short of pathetic. The review is barely intelligible, includes an opinion on a book the reviewer has never even read. I'll submit what is written to the Journalism Departments of an accredited University for their review. In fairness, I'll have it reviewed by students and/or faculty at New York University, Arizona State University or Washington State University and post their independent reviews. --68.231.20.254 (talk) 00:13, 30 March 2012 (UTC)

You still don't seem to understand the distinction between Misplaced Pages and a wiki; nor do you understand the difference between a review and an article. You make an uncited attack on a third party; and you seem to think that you will find a competent member of a major university journalism department who would take this book seriously. If you have substantive corrections to offer, make them (or suggest them on the talk page of the article); just don't expect me to take Cooper and his hallucinations or delusions or whatever they were seriously (or even pretend to). --Orange Mike | Talk 00:18, 30 March 2012 (UTC)

Page deleted and blocked

Hello, I had a page that was deleted and blocked by you recently "Historic Meeker Hotel". I am very confused as to why it was perceived as advertising. We have done a lot of research and have found many many hotels on wikipedia. All of our information is correct information from the Hotels History. I included a couple of books that were written about the hotel, interviews from previous owners and their family, and also some articles that were written about it as well. Can you please inform me as to what I did wrong, and how to fix it? We would really like to have this information out on the Web so that people can see the extensive History of this 115 year old hotel. Can you please unblock it and let me fix whatever it is that needs to be fixed. I would really appreciate it, Thank you. <MeekerHotel> 3/30/31 @ 11.57am

1. The account was in the name of your business; we don't permit businesses to have their own accounts.
2. You have a severe conflict of interest and should not be even editing articles about this hotel, much less creating one. Articles about places like the Maxwell House Hotel were not created by anybody working for the Maxwell House, but by people interested in the subject, based on information published by reliable sources.
3. The hotel's historical name was the Meeker Hotel, not the Historic Meeker Hotel; that would have been the right name for the article as well. --Orange Mike | Talk 18:18, 30 March 2012 (UTC)

So just because I work for the hotel we can not make an article? The resources I gave were reliable resources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.218.144.30 (talk) 19:03, 30 March 2012 (UTC)

Greetings! I've expanded Townsend Letter with an attractive infobox. Also, I've added the following text to the article: "The Letter is abstracted and indexed by EBSCO Publishing, Gale, and the British Library.".

Are you interested, now, in changing your vote to delete it?

Also—I'm curious—did you read the old deletion discussion (under the article's old name) before starting your new one?

Kind regards, Unforgettableid (talk) 21:27, 30 March 2012 (UTC)

Need an Admin. help

Hey, I was looking over the photo for Rudy Rotta, for whom I had added a photo to the infobox some months ago. Upon scrutiny today, it appears that the entire article from start to finish is the biography on his own web page online. Word for word. Can you initiate the necessary measures to address and/or delete it? I fear copyright violation more than any other Wikipedian sin, just because such activity ties with libel as the biggest threat to our continuing existence here on the web. Thanks. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 02:00, 31 March 2012 (UTC)

For the record, another admin (User:Daniel J. Leivick) took care of this before I even saw this request. Thanx, Daniel. --Orange Mike | Talk 21:14, 31 March 2012 (UTC)
Yeah to both of you; I figured that's what happened since User:Daniel J. Leivick responded to this with near speed-of-light! Although I've been editing here for some years, and am quite aware of WP:OWN, I find many others (esp. the types to leave behind stubs like that) who take offense and I don't feel comfortable even considering deletion propositions, so my appreciation. Mike, that one issue with the editor who was blocked for a time was well enough for me! :) --Leahtwosaints (talk) 06:26, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

Off Wiki attacks

With reference to Misplaced Pages User:Deh343 I (User:Theroadislong) and User:RHaworth have been subject to a lot of unpleasant abuse which has over flowed to here... http://www.davidhenderson.com/2012/03/30/looking-behind-the-veil-of-wikipedia-and-who-is-pulling-the-levers/ where he is confusing us as being one person. I have been so frightened by his vitriol, I have stopped editing for the time being, even though Jimbo Wales gave me a barnstar! Jimbo has commented on the blog post but not followed up the responses.Theroadislong (talk) 23:02, 31 March 2012 (UTC)

I have retired after further threats off Wiki and on.Theroadislong (talk) 09:28, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

thanks for

your recent edit at Talk:Feminazi. I'm basically an inclusionist but ya gotta draw a line somewhere, even on talk pages, and I like where you chose to do it. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 02:17, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

This particular individual has a small set of articles he rants in. He uses a semi-dynamic IP, and waits a few weeks between insertions; but the characteristics are easily recognized: the use of the term "misandrist", the accusations of bias against obscure feminists; and the persistent comparison to the Stalinist dictatorships of the 20th century. You get to where you recognize his style and his word choice as well as his narrow set of obsessions. --Orange Mike | Talk 02:23, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

Well thanks for taking the time to recognize him. I'd think that with Feminazis he'd do better comparing to say, Joseph Gobbels or Himmler or someone. I'm mean, these aren't Femicommies after all. Carptrash (talk) 02:41, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

Wild-Touch

I just don't understand why you deleted this article while there were some sources (including serious/notorious French sources) and the article clearly explained how it was notorious enough to have a WP article (including the fact that this organization has been created as a consequence of the worldwide success of March of the Penguins). You also seem to have ignored the existence of the French interwiki, where it's far more developped and referenced. Moreover, a speedy deletion doesn't appear to be the right procedure for such a case. Please restore and launch a DR. Thanks. --TwoWingsCorp (talk) 17:43, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

For your information, I've just launched an undeletion request. --TwoWingsCorp (talk) 17:58, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

If you look back at the earlier revisions of the article, they were written in the proper tone of what is required for Misplaced Pages. Overzealous employees of the hospital made unacceptable changes which resulted in the article getting deleted. Please revert back to the appropriate revision and undelete the page. Kgashok (talk) 03:58, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Thank you very much for undeletion. I promise to clean up the article. 16:35, 8 April 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kgashok (talkcontribs)

Question.

IP keeps reverting a blanking of the talk page of a temporarily blocked user at . The IP was already blocked once for being disruptive and posting info on the user's page.. They are also taking a hostile attitude on my talk page, but nothing I can't shoulder. I could be wrong, but since Alison was temp. blocked and not banned, Alison can still blank their talk page if they so choose, can they not? Surely they should be able to at least delete the parts not related to the block at any rate, otherwise they would have been blocked access to their talk page. This IP user has said their IP changes around (phone) so there is no doubt it is them, they aren't denying it. Even while being right, the way they are dealing with it is rather disruptive, and I felt contacting a neutral admin for an opinion was my best option. Since the IP just came off a block, I'm guessing they would listen to an experienced admin. Or if I'm wrong, well, then I learned something. Either way, I'm not looking for a battle, just trying to prevent disruption. This IP has a fixation on Alison. Dennis Brown (talk) 16:49, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Changing all the Mayflower Titles

Mike, why did you change all those titles? Now it is even more confusing than before. You also changed the title of Mayflower Passenger List to List of Mayflower Passengers.

The idea is to make it easier for these articles to be found. If you were a student would you look under List of -- or Mayflower Passenger List. Am trying to keep the titles as close together on some articles as possible.

Please talk about it first before you change anymore titles.

I do not understand why you did that? Would you please tell me your rationale? Thanks. Mugginsx (talk) 21:53, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

That is so funny! OrangeMike is aware of everything and he can speak for himself, in fact we have been discussing this back and forth without you advice Strange. Mugginsx (talk) 22:23, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
Funny indeed, because any editor is entitled to an opinion on Misplaced Pages. —Strange Passerby (talkcont) 22:25, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
An Opinion is part of a discussion, not in changing everything without discussion and without uninvolved troublemakers added their own opinion. I am starting not to give a damn about these articles. I thought we had a good discussion going. I go to the doctors and come back and it is all changed. If you want to discuss fine, I will be happy to, if not, do whatever you want. I have studied this subject and done a tremendous amount of work on it, including speaking to scholars on the subject as I already told you. If that is WP:OWN then the changing of all the titles without us finishing our discussion is the same. Perhaps Srange doesn't understand why an American would care about the Mayflower crew. It's to be expected that non-Americans not realize ir importance but I thought they would be important to us to discuss. It is up to you. They are worth discussing but without "Strange's" strange interference.
In reading your User page, It would seem you would have even a more personal interest in seeing these articles are correct than even the average American. So does the man I have been working with for these many months. If you want to talk you know where to find me.Mugginsx (talk) 22:33, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

This is Misplaced Pages, a global project. One of the ways we work is to share our thinking with each other. Thus, I welcome the Strange Passerby's contributions as well as yours, Muggins. As to the substance of the discussion: we have certain naming conventions for articles here. One is that a list of Xs will be titled List of Xs, not Xs list. Another is that we title articles in a manner consistent with all articles in Misplaced Pages, not in a manner peculiar to a single narrow subject. Thus, if there is only one Fred Schlabotnick of note, we call the article Fred Schlabotnick, not Fred Schlabotnick (couturier), even if there are many other articles about couturiers where the parenthetical "(couturier)" 'is added to disambiguate. An article is "correct" here when it conforms to Misplaced Pages standards, not when it conforms to peculiar usages exclusive to a narrow subject matter and its specialists. In the English language, and therefore in the English language Misplaced Pages, a "pilgrim" is a person who goes on a religious pilgrimage, not a Plymouth Colony Separatist. If you want to set up your own wiki with its own nomenclatorial and terminological conventions, that is your right; but in this project, you must conform to our standards and conventions; Misplaced Pages does not need to conform to those of Mayflower specialists or believers in American exceptionalism. --Orange Mike | Talk 12:42, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

OK Mike, then what's this - and there are many more where they came from - made by many editors from many countries: Alan Fletcher (graphic designer), Andrew Fletcher (politician), Carl Fletcher (Canadian soccer), Rod Fletcher (basketball), Guy Fletcher (songwriter), Gareth Hopkins (footballer), John Hopkins (motorcycle racer), John Turner (disambiguation).
By the way I took these names because they are the last names of Mayflower Pilgrims - and there are many more. I could go on all day. Are the Mayflower Pilgrims not at least as important as these? There are only a limited number - maybe 50, I haven't counted. I respect you Mike but I think you are wrong on this one issue. Try to change the article titles I just linked here and see what happens. That's all I'm saying. Mugginsx (talk) 13:06, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
  • Please Muggins, learn to use wikilinks! So what point are you trying to make. All the people you have listed have "qualifications", eg. (songwriter) after their names because there is more than one person with that name in Misplaced Pages. That is why we have had to add (Mayflower passenger), etc. to some of the names in Category:Mayflower passengers. But Peregrine White and Resolved White, for example, do not need anything more in there titles because they are the only people with these respective names. I am sorry but I totally agree with Orange Mike in this matter. Incidentally and changing the subject, please explain this edit: in what way does the presence of resolution (music) in the resolve article "cause problems in searching"? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:24, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
