:Hello,
:As you can easily see, even Algeria and Tunisia and mentioned without the precision that they were under French rule (protectorates for Morocco and Tunisia, French territory for Algeria).
:So, you have the choice between the geographical entities which are Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria, and the political entities that are the French protectorates of Morocco and Tunisia and "France", since Algeria was a part of the French territory (3 ''departements'') not a colony.
:Since the most stable version consisted in the one mentioning the territories, I'm keeping it like that.

French Morocco and not Morocco

The names of political entities should be respected and put in their historical context. As a matter of fact, we should speak about American airfields in French Morocco...

Hello,
As you can easily see, even Algeria and Tunisia and mentioned without the precision that they were under French rule (protectorates for Morocco and Tunisia, French territory for Algeria).
So, you have the choice between the geographical entities which are Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria, and the political entities that are the French protectorates of Morocco and Tunisia and "France", since Algeria was a part of the French territory (3 departements) not a colony.
Since the most stable version consisted in the one mentioning the territories, I'm keeping it like that.
