Hello Oldhouse2012. Please see ]. To the extent that your edits appear to have a nationalist motivation, they may lead to enforcement under this arbitration case. Your removal of Hungarian categories does (at first glance) suggest a nationalist motivation. Please consider participating in discussions to avoid people viewing your edits with alarm. In particular, consider responding to the thread at ] that was mentioned just above, since the evidence there is piling up fast. Thanks, ] (]) 19:57, 6 December 2012 (UTC) |

Hungarian edits
Out of curiousity, why are you going around removing "Category:15th century in Hungary" from various articles? Is that category being deprecated?Brianyoumans (talk) 17:06, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
- It is because categories were added to articles about places which are not in hungary. Oldhouse2012 (talk) 13:16, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- This is a contentious area, as the other editor said below. You should not make unilateral changes without discussing matters on the talk pages of the articles. Remember that certain events may be important to Hungarian history, even if they occurred outside the current or historical boundaries of Hungary.Brianyoumans (talk) 15:38, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Please define what you mean by "hungarian history" and please define which events. I do not see such events in articles in question. Also, user who added this WP template is obviously hungarian nationalist and it is future Greater Hungary what is he after, not "history". It is obvious from his edits. Oldhouse2012 (talk) 21:22, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Plese discuss your changes here before you revet my changes: http://en.wikipedia.org/Talk:History_of_Vojvodina#Wikiproject_Banners Oldhouse2012 (talk) 21:42, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

G'day
G'day Oldhouse2012. I notice you've been removing the WikiProject Hungary banner from pages relating to Vojvodina. Not sure why you would be doing that given its history, but please stop. I see it's only your second day editing under this log-in, so I'm going to assume good faith and advise you that this behaviour will only get you blocked quick smart, as all Balkans articles fall under WP:ARBMAC, and any admin can impose discretionary sanctions on you for that type of disruptive behaviour. Category changes
By the way, while I disagree with your removal of the WP:Hungary banner from various webpages, I think some of your Category changes look good. I noticed you removing something like "Category:Hungary in 1866" from some article - categories like that are way too fragmented to be useful, in my opinion. If you are trying to rationalize some of the category structure in this area, that is great! (Although you may wish to post notices about what you are doing on the appropriate WP talk pages to see if anyone objects or has better ideas on how it could be done.) I don't normally edit in this area and don't really have the time or expertise to get involved in organizing it myself, I'm afraid, but I'm glad to see someone working on it.Brianyoumans (talk) 15:23, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

Some articles of interest to you are covered by an Arbitration ruling
