Victuallers name is Roger Bamkin. I'm a wikipedian administrator, an IT consultant, co-creator of QRpedia and I was one of the co-creators of GibraltarpediA and (I was with ) MonmouthpediA. I became chair of WMUK in April 2011 and served for one year. My background is in relational databases although I have dabbled in artificial intelligence, material science and engineering. Actually I've dabbled in quite a few things so that is why I probably like Misplaced Pages. I'm passionate about sharing information and I believe we are making a difference. I've become more involved after supporting the work between the British Museum and Misplaced Pages. I've got qualifications in IT, Engineering and Education, but I frequently comment (way) outside these areas.

I spoke at the GLAM WIKI conference in November 2010 (presentation) and in Bristol at the Wiki Academy and the 2011 Wikimedia UK AGM. I was a Wikipedian in Residence with Derby Museum during their partnership with Wikimedia U.K.. I co-invented QRpedia codes and I was running "The Wright Challenge" with Andrew Dalby. (See video). I've spoken in Haifa, Bristol, London, Berlin, Vienna, Tangier and Lillehammer concerning Wikimedia UK recently. I am very involved with the exciting project MonmouthpediA which links Misplaced Pages with the people of Monmouth and Gibraltarpedia which is a tadge more ambitious. I have worked, and do work, as a consultant on project management and I.T. related issues.

I am interested because of the Americans present.) Congratulations for your achievement! Binksternet (talk) 03:56, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
