The first phase of Anting new town construction will completed around June 2007, and the second phase is planned to start before the end of 2007, and the duration is about three years. After the whole project is done, a lovely and quiet town will be a modern community of more than 50,000 people. But there is also a possibility of delaying phase 2 project in Anting New Town due to the financial reasons and poor sales.

Anting (Chinese: 安亭; pinyin: Āntíng; lit. 'Pavilion of peace') is a town in Jiading District, Shanghai, bordering Kunshan, Jiangsu to the west. It has 52,800 inhabitants and, after the July 2009 merger of Huangdu (黄渡镇), an area of 89.28 km (34.47 sq mi).
