Long-term semi-protection: An IP keeps adding incorrect information and unsourced information to the article...while removing sourced information. That IP has been reverted for months now at that article; see its contributions. Reporting the IP at Misplaced Pages:Administrator intervention against vandalism will not help for long because the IP is not above using a WP:Sockpuppet to carry out the same edits, which I noted on the IP's talk page when warning him or her. That IP is the same person, obviously; he or she is sockpuppeting, like I stated above. That's why I stated that reporting the IP at Misplaced Pages:Administrator intervention against vandalism (I meant the IP being blocked through a report there) would not work for long and that long-term semi-protection is needed in this case. Full protection: Persistent vandalism. Venezuelan users keep changing the map of Guyana to reflect outdated and unrecognized claims to 2/3 of Guyana's territory. Please lock the map to the standard map which doesn't reflect Venezuela's outdated territorial claims. There is already a page "Guayana Esequiba" which reflects these territorial claims, as well as a section in the "Guyana" page which reflects these claims. There is no reason for the main map to display territorial claims which are not recognized by any country other than Venezuela.

Semi-protection: the subject has had a couple of recent news articles written that are being forcibly inserted into the article in order to push POV. IP 71.105.111.52 has attempted to astroturf the edits to Reddit and has set out his stall quite clearly with most recent edits "You can censor and I will repost all day long." and personal attacks. .
