Why did you delete it? FellowWikipedian 15:44, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

Nathan wanted to. --GeorgeMoney  15:49, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Why? FellowWikipedian 15:55, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
He felt that it made him look like "He is not being Wiki-Like" --GeorgeMoney  16:01, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
It can be seen as assuming bad faith of other editors and it can make people think "Who are they to tell me what I can and can not post?". It's a good idea in principle but not in theory. — Nathan 18:27, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

Note: there's still User:Nathanrdotcom/Filter/Message (and it's talk) to be deleted. Misza13 17:20, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

I guess we should get Nathan to delete it. --GeorgeMoney  17:22, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Yep. I just actually noticed I posted this on the wrong talk page. ;-p I have notified him. Misza13 17:28, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Nathan is right about this. FellowWikipedian 22:55, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

nathan is only getting more and more annoyed with you. I suggest you just leave it alone for a while (you don't have to listen to me though). ILovePlankton 22:30, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

You're probably right. I just want him to forgive me. --GeorgeMoney  22:35, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Give it time. That's what I've been saying all along. :) — Nathan 22:37, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Well, will you forgive me for continually asking to forgive me? --GeorgeMoney  22:40, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Grrrrr.... Fine. :p — Nathan 02:55, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Yes

I want you to host a program that records the history of Misplaced Pages. General Eisenhower • (at war or at peace) 23:19, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

I want a program that records history of Misplaced Pages such as who becomes an adminship when, or even the biography of Jimbo Wales or Angela. General Eisenhower • (at war or at peace ☢✍☎☺) 23:22, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Cool. It might be time comsuming. FellowWikipedian 23:31, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

How about a program that lists all stubs. General Eisenhower • (at war or at peace ☢✍☎☺) 23:31, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Just look at Category:Stubs --GeorgeMoney  23:33, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Then, how about a program that lists all userboxes. I can run the program myself from your site. General Eisenhower • (at war or at peace ☢✍☎☺) 23:36, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

How about on all awards not documented on the awards pages? General Eisenhower • (at war or at peace ☢✍☎☺) 00:14, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
That will be easy. General Eisenhower • (at war or at peace ☢✍☎☺) 00:26, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Sorry & Thanks

I'm so sorry not to have noticed your reversions. Must have been an unlucky set of circumstances that I missed your edits. A big thank you for watching over my page. Cheers. Srikeit 01:56, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

I have 1400 pages on my watchlist. --GeorgeMoney  02:01, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Wow, I have only about 800, as any more will take a hell of a long time to come on my slow connection. Srikeit 03:00, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
The ironic thing is that half of the pages on my watchlist I don't really care about. --GeorgeMoney  03:50, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

United Editors of Misplaced Pages

What exactly is this organization?--TBC (aka Tree Biting Conspiracy) 04:44, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Civility

May I ask you are a little more civil. Making comments about projects does not generally boost the WikiLove in the community. If you have issues with any publications, I think you should address the matter with them, rather than externally attacking them. I hope you can see this how it is intended,

"Don't worry, the spam isn't bad and annoying like the Esperanza and Community Justice spam. My spam is just news and events."

Thanks! Ian13/talk 13:27, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Can I also ask you remove the link to your shocksite (well, or whatever you call it), titled "Don't click this link!" on your page. I think some editors would not like your loop of JS, and may not know how to escape it. Ian13/talk 13:35, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Ok, I'll remove the link. But I don't know how you could think that saying that "EA spam and CJ spam is annoying" is uncivil. First of all, I said that over two weeks ago. Secondly, people sign up for those projects, and it doesn't say anywhere, "Note: When you sign up for this project, you will get spam!". Third, all spam is annoying, so spam that you didn't know you were going to get is really annoying. Fourth, I could get many people who agree with me in the fact that "colorful, badly formatted, spam is annoying". --GeorgeMoney  15:26, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
On the matter of badly formatted spam, I had to edit the last CJ newsletter (when it was CJ) on almost every member's talk page and fix their formatting. Remember that? Nobody noticed. (Then again, if I didn't do it, I don't know who would've) — Nathan 09:59, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Hi George, of course you're allowed to think spam is annoying, and yes, many people agree with you (although many others don't), but regarding point two and three of your argument: here's the way the Esperanza membership page looked like the moment you signed up: http://en.wikipedia.org/search/?title=Misplaced Pages:Esperanza/Members&oldid=48600191. --JoanneB 15:31, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Well, I guess you're right about that, but what about CJ CCD?--GeorgeMoney  15:35, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

No, I like your username. --GeorgeMoney  16:05, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Regarding the article High School Musical 2

When you reverted the vandalism on High School Musical 2 by 71.235.64.130 it reverted it to another vandal's edit (69.138.237.251.) Be careful: sometimes two vandals will strike a page before it is reverted and using the rollback won't work. I fixed it for you but be careful about stuff like that. --Evan Robidoux 16:14, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

RE:?

Yeah, I kinda messed up there; he was still on AIV so I went to his userpage and saw the block notices. I checked the block log manually and didn't see any blocks for the user; so, I removed it because I didn't want any AIV admins thinking he was already blocked. However, after checking the block log from the template, I saw that he was in fact blocked, so I reverted myself. Master of Puppets 18:20, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Misplaced Pages:Miscellany for deletion/User:GeorgeMoney/UEW

You shouldn't have closed Misplaced Pages:Miscellany_for_deletion/User:GeorgeMoney/UEW for two reasons:

  1. Conflict of interest
  2. It hadn't finished, or anywhere near finished

If you wish to close deletion debates, please stick to speedy keeps and those which have ended. Computerjoe's talk 19:06, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

It was obviously keep. --GeorgeMoney  19:08, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
No, it isn't. Consensus may not be reached, which though results in a keep is a different outcome. Also, it is far too early to close. I wouldn't close any AfD or MfD I was involved in for the conflict of interest. Computerjoe's talk 19:12, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Misplaced Pages:Miscellany for deletion/User:Computerjoe/Status

G'day George,

I am about to close this MfD as being too silly for words. It is plainly obvious that you have taken a disliking to Computerjoe (talk · contribs), and are merely trying to get back at him for perceived slights through MfD. Please remember: we are not a toy. You may not abuse Misplaced Pages processes just to get at another user. If you do this again, you will be blocked. Happy editing, fuddlemark (befuddle me!) 19:18, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

So now you are saying that he can nominate my pages for deletion, but I can't nominate his? --GeorgeMoney  19:21, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
No, he's saying that you tried to make a point by nominating his page for deletion because he nommed one of yours. Stop it. Ral315 (talk) 19:23, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
George: Quite honestly, this is really silly. By your logic, my status pages have to be deleted too. Do you see how silly that is? Please observe WP:POINT. (This isn't personal) — Nathan 10:09, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

time for a holiday

G'day George,

I think it's time that you started concentrating on those aspects of Misplaced Pages that aren't Computerjoe. You'll be surprised how many there are. As you two have been continually sniping at each other lately, I am going to enforce a holiday for the two of you: you'll stop using your editing privileges to get at one another, starting now, or you will be deprived of those privileges for a set period of time. We tend to be fairly patient on Misplaced Pages, but this is not High School, and your constant bickering is counter-productive and unwelcome. Happy editing! fuddlemark (befuddle me!) 22:08, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Fine. I'll go away. First, I need to remove my question on hs RfA. --GeorgeMoney  22:11, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Oh, there's no need to go away. Just ... do something fun, like editing articles, and not something dowdy and dreary, like editing RfAs. Enjoy! fuddlemark (befuddle me!) 22:17, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Ok fine. I'll go and do non Computerjoe-related stuff. But I just don't know why he has to go and try to get one of my subpages deleted because it has "no purpose". I am about to go watch some TV, because my addiction to WP has overridden my addiction to TV and I need to watch some of the shows on my Dvr, and this would be the perfect oppurtunity to finally watch TV after a month. --GeorgeMoney  22:22, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Relax George! You don't have to leave me alone, just please don't prove a point. Computerjoe's talk 08:14, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks

After trying to fix the script, I noticed some bugs to other things that I did not catch before. I gave up trying to fix GML. Fotunetely, however, I made an IE revert that looks identical to the regular ones (revert (vandal) and AGF revert) but works slightly differently a while back. I added a case-wise if that switches to IE revert mode for "&" cases, like . I will past it into VoA/monobook shortly.Voice-of-All 23:26, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

OK, the IP warning thing only appears on IP talk pages now.Voice-of-All 05:28, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Archive

How do I archive my talk page? FellowWikipedian 23:54, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Copy all of the content (except for the header part) into a page called User talk:FellowWikipedian/archive1. Then you're done! I will do it for you. --GeorgeMoney  00:00, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Age

Yes, for a while I did not join mainly because I thought I would have to be 13. Then, the day before by 12th birthday, I decided to look at the form. Seeing as it had no age, I joined. ~LinuxeristFile:Tux-linux logo.svg A/C/E/L/P/S/T/Z 12:34, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Userpage bug

I noticed, and don't know what to do about it; checked the code over and over and its the same in every section, only that one place seems to be cutting off for some reason. Master of Puppets 13:01, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
