You've been warned about this before. "...great mouth watering bakery foods", "...along with a great ambience.", and "It has also made itself proud in Agricultural networks." is unacceptable for an encyclopedia. The rest needs to be sourced. --] '']'' 14:16, 3 January 2014 (UTC) |

Drop me a message, I will gladly read it!Welcome!
Hello,Abitoby, and welcome to Misplaced Pages! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- How to create your first article (using the Article Wizard if you wish)
- Manual of Style
A few suggestions
Hi, I notice that you have managed to get yourself into some hot water already. This is common with new editors. One of the things that you seem to have been confused with is that you are taking ownership of articles. This is something that is not permitted by the copyright license that Misplaced Pages operates under. Whenever you submit something to Misplaced Pages, just above the save page button it says "By clicking the "Save Page" button, you agree to the Terms of Use, and you irrevocably agree to release your contribution under the CC-BY-SA 3.0 License and the GFDL". This means that anything you submit no longer belongs to you under that copyright license. This applies to everything we submit to Misplaced Pages, including this message I am writing.
By tradition, when an editor posts to your talk page it is assumed you have read it if you delete it. Generally, it's preferable to archive talk pages but there's no policy against deleting posts. If you want help with that, I can copy over the template that I use.
My next point will be about reliable sources. Please read the link that I have added here carefully about sourcing. Poor sourcing can lead to an article being deleted through the article for deletion process. Also, I notice that you had some copyright warnings. You must not copy the text from any source and post it to Misplaced Pages. This puts the foundation in legal danger of being sued for violating copyright by the publishers of the original text. Use the text but rewrite it in your own words. This also leads into two other things to be careful of, which is original research and synthesis of sources. Misplaced Pages is not for the publishing your own research nor are you permitted to take sources and create your own view point of the material.
Finally, I will point you to the policy on disruptive editing. A very large number of editors have been blocked for violating this policy. Most usually get the point after 1 or 2 blocks, but repeated violations of it by some editors have c aused them to be blocked indefinitely and some have been banned permanenetly from Misplaced Pages. Please read this link very carefully to avoid the same fate.
Hopefully, that might clear up some of the issues you have been experiencing. I won't be offended if you delete this message as I will assume you have read it, but I sincerely hope that you have a read through the links that I have pointed to otherwise you will be in for a very difficult time here. Warning
This is clearly not an acceptable edit. Many editors have tried to reason with you on acceptable editing behavior, but you don't seem to listen. We require a certain level of capability to edit the encyclopaedia, including the ability to abide by policies and guidelines around content building and interaction with editors. If you continue to ignore all the suggestions and assistance provided, and continue to indulge in disruptive editing, you will be blocked again, possibly longer, or until you agree to abide by policy. —SpacemanSpiff 10:16, 24 July 2012 (UTC)

No consensus for article rename
Your move of Mother Teresa to the new name of Mother Teresa of Calcutta had no prior discussion and no consensus, so I have reverted it. I would suggest that you read Misplaced Pages:Requested moves and also WP:DE and please discuss potentially controversial actions and edits before making them. File source problem with File:Sudip Bandhopadhay Trinamool congress.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Sudip Bandhopadhay Trinamool congress.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Misplaced Pages. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. dave pape (talk) 13:13, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Mukul Roy Railway Minister of India.jpeg
Thanks for uploading File:Mukul Roy Railway Minister of India.jpeg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Misplaced Pages:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Misplaced Pages's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. dave pape (talk) 13:15, 18 September 2012 (UTC)

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Mukul Roy Railway Minister of India.jpeg, has been listed at Misplaced Pages:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 13:32, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Sudip Bandhopadhay Trinamool congress.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Sudip Bandhopadhay Trinamool congress.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Sagarika
Hi Abitoby, please don't move pages without discussion as you did in Sagarika. If you think the page needs to move then start a discussion on talk page. Thanks. Torreslfchero (talk) 13:25, 16 February 2013 (UTC)
Kolkata image additions
Thanks for your additions of the images to Kolkata, some are really good I must accept. However, it being a Featured Article it is essential to maintain certain standards and quality. If you wish to add any image, it need to be discussed at Talk:Kolkata first, then after receiving consensus, such additions might be considered. Amartyabag 16:50, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Acting President of India
The article Acting President of India has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- There is no constititutional position for acting president.Vice-president and acting president are virtually the same
While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Suri 100 (talk) 13:30, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
Your contributed article, Acting President of India
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Acting President of India. First, thank you for your contribution; Misplaced Pages relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Vice President of India. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Misplaced Pages. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Vice President of India – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Misplaced Pages looks forward to your future contributions. Suri 100 (talk) 01:01, 12 May 2013 (UTC)

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Jeet Gannguli. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Misplaced Pages. Thank you. Tito☸Dutta 09:18, 26 September 2013 (UTC)
India
I just wanted to let you know that while adding images to an article is usually okay (though you have to be careful not to add too many), on featured articles, it's usually best to ask first on the talk page, since image review is one of the aspects of the FA review process. This is especially true on India, which is the most viewed FA, and on which pictures have long been contentious, and it's really important that we get consensus first before changing or adding them--we really have to be careful not to overemphasize certain things. So you are welcome to propose adding those pics on the talk page if you want. Qwyrxian (talk) 13:32, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Jyotiprakash Samal (Album Actor)
Hello Abitoby,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Jyotiprakash Samal (Album Actor) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Livit⇑/What? 14:16, 24 October 2013 (UTC)

Please do not add promotional material to Misplaced Pages. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Misplaced Pages is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. NeilN 02:16, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Amartyabag. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Kolkata because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Kindly note image addition in a Featured article should generally be made after a discussion. The image added by you has unclear copyright notices and missing Metadata/EXIF info. Amartyabag 14:30, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
- You also need to turn down your peacock prose. Describing something as "a beauty" is not encyclopedic. --NeilN 16:18, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

KMOMA
Hi! Thanks for creating the article on KMOMA. I have recently observed that you are overcategorising the articles. It is perfect to add only the most relevant sub-categories and not use the main category in the article. For example, for KMOMA, there is no need to add the category "Kolkata", adding "Museums in Kolkata" is enough, as the later is sub-cat of the former. Use common sense while adding the categories. For sake of simplicity, use the most relevant sub-category you can find. Let me know, if you need any further assistance or help. Amartyabag 06:43, 23 December 2013 (UTC)

Bisk Farm
Why have you reverted my edit on Bisk Farm? Chris Troutman (talk) 05:37, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Misplaced Pages. However, please remember that editors do not own articles and should respect the work of their fellow contributors on Bisk Farm. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Misplaced Pages, as you did at Bisk Farm, you may be blocked from editing. NeilN 06:59, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you use Misplaced Pages for soapboxing, promotion or advertising, as you did at Bisk Farm, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. NeilN 14:11, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
Please stop with the advertising
You've been warned about this before. "...great mouth watering bakery foods", "...along with a great ambience.", and "It has also made itself proud in Agricultural networks." is unacceptable for an encyclopedia. The rest needs to be sourced. --NeilN 14:16, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
