Pay what you feel/want

Hello there, I added details of a graphic design company I have come across while in Melbourne - 3 Halves Design http://3halvesdesign.com/ - You deleted it. I thought it deserved mention as many other commercial ventures are mentioned on the page. I believe 3 Halves is a unique pay as you feel/want business. Perhaps I did not pop it in the correct area or I worded it in a way that was incorrect? It should be in the 'History and commercial uses' area? There is mention of albums, restaurants, software, theatres, bakeries, video games and may more on the page - why not design? Apologies but English is not my 1st language and this is my 1st time using wiki pages. Please do let me know your thoughts and concerns and reasons. Multiple Accounts

Thanks for blocking all those spam accounts that were merely created to endorse Third Party site on Misplaced Pages. Since the content was copied from my user page I got a bit tensed that even my account may get blocked as it might have created confusion that all this is done by me. But I'm glad that you blocked the actual spammers. Thank you.

Lord Laitinen

I know why you think you rightfully deleted my article, but you are wrong. As I said in my edits, my article and my user name are based on someone I once met, not myself or a close friend or family member. It is not a blatant hoax, because, to my knowledge, all of the information is accurate and truthful, no matter how unbelievable it seems. I find it insulting to have my first page deleted minutes after I wrote it, and I consider leaving Misplaced Pages because of your rudeness. I will not return those links, but I find it very odd that you are the only one deleting all my pages and edits. If they were breaking rules, why does no one else delete them before you? Surely, there must be other administrators on this huge website. I suppose my next note will make you, David J. Johnson, and FreeRangeFrog quite happy. User:Aei4eia

I noticed your blocking of Aei4eia for ISU and as the Account creator that created this account, I was hoping you could give me some insight as to how this username represented a group, organization, or website so that I can improve my filtering techniques for future accounts. I blocked the account because the user page the created was linked to the management consulting firm at http://www.aei4eia.com.au/. It also contained typical marketing buzzwords and phrases, though they were removed after the {{db-spam}} tag was placed on the user page (by a steward, though I just noticed that and it wasn't a factor in my deletion and block). It was obvious from the web link and the material added that they were there to promote or act on behalf of the company.

I don't know what the account request looked like, but the account name by itself wouldn't have raised any flags for me. It looks pretty innocuous being fairly random looking. It was only after their edits that the company question was obvious. The company website does appear first if you Google the name, but I don't think you want to be Googling every name requested. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 03:20, 9 February 2014 (UTC)

• Goggling requested names is actually a fairly common practice, although I'm guessing I didn't for this particular name because I wasn't expecting there to be any possibility of Aei4eia being a notable name or word. Had I seen that, I likely would have created the account anyway as that kind of name would fall under AGF. I likely would have used the {{Welcome-COI|newuser=yes}} welcome message though. clear deleted logs

I'm sorry, but I can not remove deletion logs. While some logs may be suppressed under certain circumstances, I do not believe this is one of those cases, though you are welcome to make a request. Removal of logs because it appears in Google is not a valid reason for suppression except under specific circumstances. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 23:32, 9 February 2014 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) I don't see Misplaced Pages results for that. Google has the bad habit of showing oft-visited pages in search results despite the fact that they are not in their index, so that might be the case here. §FreeRangeFrog 19:04, 10 February 2014 (UTC)

I Googled it, too, and I don't get the deletion log results either. The first site returned is their corporate website followed by their Facebook page. Restricting the Google search to just en.wikipedia.org doesn't find it either. All you get is the Twinkle CSD log for the editor who tagged it. The log will never show up in Google results because both the deletion log and the redlinked article all have <meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow" /> in it. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:27, 10 February 2014 (UTC)

You might want to answer KrystianSzastok about their specific questions, but I think I would leave out trying to figure out where the template came from or if they are taking some SEO course. Even if you find out where it came from, there really isn't anything that can be done about it. Help needed to fix a few more Survivor links

Hey thanks again for helping to fix all those links back in December! Recently a few other articles on Survivor contestants have been resurrected and had either broken or missing links to their CBS bios in the "External links" section. They are Earl Cole, Todd Herzog, Sandra Diaz-Twine, Tyson Apostol, and Susan Hawk. Could u help me fix those too? I'm still having a hard time finding some of them. Thanks!
