Disambiguation link notification for October 5

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Gadget and the Gadgetinis Episodes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page YTV (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:48, 5 October 2013 (UTC)

Blocked

Hi Tristan, I am sorry but I had to prevent you from making further edits. You have been changing articles to say things that do not appear to be true, or cannot be shown to be true with references to reliable sources. Also, you have never talked to other editors to explain what you are doing. This is a problem on Misplaced Pages. Can you please explain what you are doing? Why would it be OK to make the kinds of changes you are? If you can explain what you are doing, or promise you won't make the kinds of changes you have been, your account may be allowed to edit again. Thanks... Zad68 23:18, 13 October 2013 (UTC)

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Zad68 23:20, 13 October 2013 (UTC)

Welcome back!

Because of your "I'm sorry" message I have unblocked your account. Welcome back! Please continue to use this account and not your Tristan.136 account. Based on how you're using that account, I actually have to block that Tristan.136 account, sorry about that... but keep using this account for your work. Zad68 15:45, 27 October 2013 (UTC)

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Luitenent Gadget is suitable for inclusion in Misplaced Pages according to Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Luitenent Gadget until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Speedy deletion nomination of David Vadant

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on David Vadant requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. ...William 14:34, 9 November 2013 (UTC)

General concerns about your contributions

Hi Tristan, I've noticed that you seem to be having difficulty understanding some of the rules at Misplaced Pages, for example, the ones governing the use of reliable sources, or maybe some of the lesser-known rules, like how flags don't belong in infoboxes. If you are serious about editing here, you might consider asking for a mentor via the Adoptee program.

More pressing, however, is that many of your edits contain significant spelling and grammatical errors, as well as formatting and typographical errors. In these edits you misspelled "Lieutenant", then later created an article on the misspelled Luitenent Gadget. In these edits your write-up under Season 6 contain a number of spelling errors as well as inconsistent capitalization, etc. And there are a variety of problems at the article you've created for And then it Happened.

Misplaced Pages expects that articles be written in a professional style and tone, consistent with the style and tone of any other professional encyclopedia. Misplaced Pages editors are told to assume good faith of other editors, and I assume that your intentions are good, but if you are not able to spell adequately or communicate properly, at some point your contributions will be considered disruptive and harmful to the project. If English is not your primary language, you may have more success working on a Misplaced Pages project in your native tongue. You may also wish to take a look at WP:COMPETENCE to understand why one's abilities are important to being considered useful at Misplaced Pages. Good luck, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask on my talk page. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 01:56, 16 November 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Edo Japan (Restaurant)

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Edo Japan (Restaurant), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Speedy deletion nomination of St. Julia Catholic Elementary School

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on St. Julia Catholic Elementary School requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Misplaced Pages:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Almost no elementary schools are notable enough to warrant an article. PKT(alk) 14:48, 17 November 2013 (UTC)

Final warning

stop This is your final warning. Stop misusing flag icons like you did again here and here. And pay more attention to proper spelling, as "vocied" isn't a word. Totally Spies!

Hi Tristan, it appears that you are having difficulty understanding fundamental concepts related to Misplaced Pages editing, particularly those related to original research and providing reliable sources. Understanding these concepts are crucial to your ability to edit here. I reverted your edits at Totally Spies! for a number of reasons, including the unexplained removal of content (writers/directors, et al from infobox), the unexplained removal of the show's history (as flawed as it may have been), the apparent copy/pasting you did from here, and for the critical reception section you copy/pasted from the same fansite, which is entirely unsourced and makes bold and unsubstantiated statements about critical reception being "mostly positive".

It's okay to make a few mistakes here and there, but you seem to have trouble understanding core principles, for example, that sites like Wikia.com are not suitable as references, and the result is that your edits are damaging existing articles. I've previously given you some advice on where to go for help, but you don't seem interested in taking the advice. I understand that you might be a kid, and kids are welcome to edit, but kids must also be competent editors. This is your last warning that if you submit unsourced content again, or improperly sourced content, you will be reported for administrative intervention. I believe that you want to do a good job, but your execution thus far has not been up to the community's standards. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 07:09, 26 December 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Zodiak Kids

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Zodiak Kids requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.zodiakrights.com/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Misplaced Pages to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Misplaced Pages:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Misplaced Pages:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Image Entertainment Corporation logo, Image Logo.png

A tag has been placed on File:Image Entertainment Corporation logo, Image Logo.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Misplaced Pages (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Image Entertainment Corporation Logo used Since 2011.png

Thank you for uploading File:Image Entertainment Corporation Logo used Since 2011.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Misplaced Pages may not meet the criteria required by Misplaced Pages:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Misplaced Pages:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Misplaced Pages policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 22:37, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm Dogmaticeclectic. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of Teletoon original series, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dogmaticeclectic (talk) 02:52, 2 February 2014 (UTC) Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Image Entertainment Corporation may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Proposed deletion of Mari Tranior

Hello, Tristan.andrade.136. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Mari Tranior, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Mari Tranior to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, Wgolf (talk) 20:57, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Mari Tranior

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mari Tranior requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages.

Flat Out let's discuss it 23:03, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Books for Boys

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Books for Boys, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Misplaced Pages:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

BiH (talk) 23:50, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Stoked (TV series). Your edits have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Misplaced Pages's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Misplaced Pages's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Dogmaticeclectic (talk) 13:16, 8 February 2014 (UTC)

Hi Tristan. Unfortunately, from what I can see, you are likely to get indefinitely blocked from editing on the English Misplaced Pages soon, if you continue what you have been doing.
Maybe you need to slow down and be much more careful. Or, maybe you need a mentoring program that would help you see how to edit.
I don't have time for a mentoring program right now, but other editors including User:Rcsprinter123 might be able to do one. What do you think of that? --Demiurge1000 (talk) 20:40, 1 March 2014 (UTC)
Sorry, I'm too busy also. You'd have to find someone else. Rcsprinter123 (parlez) @ 21:50, 1 March 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 4

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of programs broadcast by Disney Channel (France), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Violetta (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
