== Ramsey injury ==

Someone added and cited the fact that Ramsey was sidelined for 10 months because of the tackle Shawcross and has been booed by Stoke City fans after he recovered. I am not sure why it has been reverted thrice.

Aaron Ramsey

The tackle did not cause the injury. Proof: http://gfx2.aftonbladet-cdn.se/image/12212934/480/normal/45808037869eb/fot480klar — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.133.198.88 (talk) 21:16, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

I need better proof than that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.95.133.137 (talk) 18:10, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

Height

there is no way that he is 6 foot 5, is there a source for his height? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Speeron (talkcontribs) 16:41, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Shawcross was certainly 6 feet tall at the start of the season, and I have records to prove it. However, there was a story a few months ago in which Tony Pulis claimed that Shawcross had "shot up" a couple of inches by Christmas. I doubt that he is as tall as 6'5", but I think he's probably taller than 6 foot now. – PeeJay 17:48, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

he is 6ft 3, its on the stoke website, the sun said he had shot up to 6ft 5 but i think they were wrong, he only looked a bit taller than vidic yesterday —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.191.224.106 (talk) 09:54, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

I can't say for sure. I do think he is taller than 6'3" though. Next to Thomas Sorensen (6'5"), he looks similar sized, and he was a bit taller than Adebayor, who is listed either 6'3" or 6'4".

Adebayor Incident (2007)

"Shawcross was retaliating after Adebayor had kicked out at him earlier in the match. " - Nowhere in the cited article is there any mention that Adebayor kicked out at him earlier in the match. Shouldn't proper citation be given to support the assertion? Otherwise, it should be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.67.72.122 (talk) 15:39, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Add92, why have you removed the off-the-ball tackle by Shawcross on Adebayor twice? I think it's noteworthy that Shawcross has been involved in several bad injuries given the number of games he has played. (Chorleypie (talk) 13:07, 19 December 2010 (UTC))

Because it was a nothing incident not notable at all. Also he has only 'been involved in several bad injuries' twice Jeffers and Ramsey.--Add92 (talk) 13:17, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

Adebayor was out for three weeks after a foul when both of them were off the pitch, that's what I call notable. Can you think of it happening to anyone else? (Chorleypie (talk) 22:09, 22 December 2010 (UTC))
Ta for rephrasing, rather than deleting, the incident, but it appears trivial without pointing out the length of the injury. I've also restored the Daily Mail reference because the BBC one doesn't mention that it was off-the-pitch. (Chorleypie (talk) 17:36, 1 January 2011 (UTC))
