Welcome!

Hello, Islam90, and welcome to Misplaced Pages! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Salafist Call, may not conform to some of Misplaced Pages's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Tea House, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Misplaced Pages:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Ben Ben (talk) 01:18, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Salafist Call

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Salafist Call requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Ben Ben (talk) 01:18, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Muhammad Ismail al-Muqaddam

The article Muhammad Ismail al-Muqaddam has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Misplaced Pages policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Ben Ben (talk) 01:21, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

Soma (Singer)

Hello Islam90,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, Soma (Singer), may be copied from http://flachdcd.com/category/soma-%d8%b3%d9%88%d9%85%d8%a7/. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Misplaced Pages is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

Thank you for helping build a 💕!Template:Z18 MadmanBot (talk) 14:08, 14 October 2013 (UTC)

October 2013

Hello Islam90, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. Your addition to Soma (Singer) has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Misplaced Pages, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. S.G. ping! 14:19, 14 October 2013 (UTC)

3rr warning

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. -- Jeff3000 (talk) 22:19, 15 October 2013 (UTC)

Hi, there are a number of rules in the English Misplaced Pages which you may not be aware of. One is that instead of edit-warring you should bring up disagreements on the talk page of the article first. Associated with this is that you cannot revert an article more than 3 times in a 24 hour period, which you did on Baha'i calendar. Please check the logs. The other Misplaced Pages policy that I should let you know about is the assume good faith policy. Just because I may disagree with you that doesn't make me "religious intolerance". Making such a statement makes it seem like you have already made up your mind about me, which is against the Misplaced Pages policy. Misplaced Pages is based on verifiability based on reliable sources. What you may think is important, if it is not distinguished in reliable sources in the same extent may not make it notable in the context that you are pushing. Hopefully you will read the English Misplaced Pages policies and become a useful editor here. Warm regards, -- 01:59, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
Multiple times you have reverted changes that are under discussion in the talk page. As I noted above the method of editing is Misplaced Pages is to talk about changes on the talk page, and you have failed to do so. There are problems with the way that you are presenting things that don't match with the way they are in reliable sources. Please bring up your concerns on the talk page before reverting any further. Warm regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 17:49, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
If you want to be able to contribute on the English Misplaced Pages you need to be able to communicate. You are again not assuming good faith with your "religious intolerance" statements. Your edits don't abide by the some policies such as .. You will need to bring up your changes on the talk page, rather than reverting. Please translate the above if you don't understand. Regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 23:16, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
Also remember that you already have three reversions in a 24-hour period, and if you revert another time you can be blocked by passing the 3rr rule. Warm regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 23:19, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

Just an another aspect - Islam90 - do you see the comments in edits? See But you should more importantly think about what you are doing. --Smkolins (talk) 00:14, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring. Thank you. -- Jeff3000 (talk) 02:26, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring, as you did at Template:Babism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Bbb23 (talk) 04:07, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

Removal of AFD notice

As you may not know, it is against Misplaced Pages policy to remove the AFD notice from the page. Actually it states that quite directly on the template stating "Feel free to edit the article, but the article must not be blanked, and this notice must not be removed, until the discussion is closed.". Regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 14:48, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

I guess you don't know what Misplaced Pages's policies are again, but I'll point you some policies you should read. Not everything that exists in the world can/should have a Misplaced Pages article. Only things that are notable, by Misplaced Pages policy and definition, are allowed to have Misplaced Pages pages about them. What does notability mean; it generally means that the subject of the page has "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject". This means that there must be secondary sources that talk about the subject, and not just in passing. For the two pages that you created, no-one is saying that the books don't exist, but they are both non-notable. That the primary source of the article exists, and there may be a number of self-published blogs about the books on the internet doesn't come out to be "significant coverage in reliable sources". Regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 15:14, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
Did you even read what I wrote about, and the Misplaced Pages policies. It has nothing to do with if it's a real book or not; it has to do with notability. And notability is defined by "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject". If I write a book, can I have a Misplaced Pages article about my book? The answer is no, and that's because it's not notable. It's the same thing about these books. Because it has not received "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" it is not notable. Regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 15:26, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

No personal attacks

Your comment on my page in Arabic is a swear word and is considered a "personal attack". Misplaced Pages does not look to kindly to personal attacks and there is a policy on no personal attacks. If you continue with such personal attacks you can be blocked. -- Jeff3000 (talk) 15:30, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

Tahirih Poets

I have redirected your newly created page Tahirih Poets to Tahirih's page. I still don't think you understand the English Misplaced Pages's policies. You may understand the Arabic Misplaced Pages policies, but each Misplaced Pages has it's own policies. For one, you should read WP:content forking and summary style. I think the intention of your article was something like "The poetry of Tahirih", and your English was very bad. Regardless, the way you add content first in such a manner is to add the content to the appropriate page, rather than just create new pages. In this case, the most germane place is in the Tahirih article, and only once the content becomes too large, then you create a summary style sub-article. Regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 03:05, 22 November 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 19

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Tamer Ashor, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Pop and Rotana (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Dealer movie.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:Dealer movie.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Misplaced Pages (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

Islam in China

You have created both Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Islam/Islam in China work group and Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Islam in China which contain identical content. Please decide if you and any other participants want this collaboration to be a working group of WikiProject Islam or an independent WikiProject and delete the page that you will no longer be using. It is redundant to have both pages and, as the creator, you can request a speedy deletion and bypass AfD. Liz 18:31, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

You haven't responded, Islam90, but it looks like you are favoring Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Islam in China over Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Islam/Islam in China work group. If this is so, please add a WP:CSD tag so that this page can be deleted. Thank you. Liz 01:31, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
Looks like this has been taken care of. Thank you! Good luck with Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Islam in China. Liz 16:18, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
