Dance Central is a music video game series for the Xbox 360 that uses the Kinect motion peripheral. It competes with Ubisoft's Just Dance game series and is all 3 games were developed by Harmonix, creators of the Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises.

Dance Central 2 is a dance video game developed by Harmonix for the Xbox 360 Kinect. The game is the sequel to Dance Central. Dance Central 2 was officially announced at E3 2011 during Microsoft's press conference. A sequel titled Dance Central 3 was officially announced at E3 2012 and was released later in the year.
