*From May 1990 to March 1991 the ministry in charge of social welfare was called Ministry of Labour, Veteran and Disability Issues (''Ministarstvo rada, boračkih i invalidskih pitanja'') and was headed by Marin Črnja.
*In March 1991 the ministry was renamed Ministry of Labour, Social Welfare and Family (''Ministarstvo rada, socijalne skrbi i obitelji'') and Bernardo Jurlina was appointed head of the renamed ministry.
*In the ] which was inaugurated in April 1993 the ministry's name was shortened to Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare.

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia (Template:Lang-hr) is the ministry in the Government of Croatia which is in charge of health care and welfare.
