James Robert Frederick Stunt (born 21 January 1982) is a British billionaire and entrepreneur. Stunt's total wealth is estimated at $5.5 billion. Stunt has investment in the gambling, art, mining and transcontinental shipping industry.

Early life

James Stunt was born in London. his mother Lorraine Stunt was an affluent woman and father Geoffrey Stunt was a corporate printing and publishing tycoon. He has a brother, Lee Stunt. Stunt grew up between Wentworth Estate and Wilton Crescent in London and Monaco.

Personal life

James Stunt married Petra Ecclestone Stunt. In February 2013, Petra gave birth to the couple's first child, Lavinia. In April 2015 Petra gave birth to twin boys, James Robert Fredrick Stunt Jr and Andrew Kulbir Stunt. Andrew Kulbir Stunt named after James Stunt’s best friend and New Look heir, Andrew Kulbir Singh.

In 2014, James Stunt put the expensive castle back on the market with a price tag of $150 million. The Manor was on the real estate market for several years with an asking price of $150 million, it was the most expensive residential real estate listing in the US. The 57,000-square-foot (5,300 m2) mansion was the former home of Aaron Spelling and Candy Spelling, and is the largest residence in Los Angeles County.

Stunt has over 200 rare collector’s cars between his collections in the US and UK. Stunt is typically seen driving around in one of his many bullet-proof and bomb-proof custom Mansory Rolls Royces. In the UK, he owns private license plates for his vehicles, sequences are S1UNT, S2UNT, S3UNT, S4UNT, S6UNT, S7UNT, JA51UNT, S1VNT, 57UNT, 157UNT.

Wine collection

James Stunt has the largest collection of Petrus wine in the US, along with large collections of Romanée-Conti and le Pin wine. His Petrus collection is the finest private collection in the UK. He also has Chateau Lafitte Rothschild wines. James is reported to have one of the top five collections of rare wine in the world.

Art collection

Stunt made an expensive art bid £12.5 million for a 17th-century self-portrait by Sir Anthony Van Dyck. In 2013, James Stunt won the bid against the National Portrait Gallery. However, the British government placed an export ban on the piece citing its national importance. Later, Stunt withdrew his bid for the Van Dyck.
