'''Male sexual assault and rape''' may involve forcible rape committed by other males or by females as well as statutory rape of minors by adult females.

==Rape of males by males==
(Male rape is serious, and is more common than we ever may start to imagine. Overwhelming this problem is and yet underwhelming is the attention brought to the victims by a few major agencies who understand that a weaker male is easier controled. Now is the time to be healed, to start seeking those who can address that which millions of us have gone through. You are not alone, we are here with you, we are working on it, and you'll know what to do soon. Seek a therapist, firstly, and one who is female, preferably, and who has experience counseling female rape victims and trauma. We need to be heard, every one of us, now. Our healing is more important than our sadness.)

Please, help us allow this problem major attention. Please, help us share healing, by un-ignorance. Now.

Thanks.

A recent example of this is that of ] of Greco Middle School and her teenage student. The controversial case questioned the view that women do not cause harm when they engage in sex acts with children.
