Civility

Information icon Hello, I'm Brianhe. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Dodge Tomahawk that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Misplaced Pages is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.

Please don't describe other editors' contributions as "stupid comment" as you did here. - Brianhe (talk) 21:01, 24 December 2015 (UTC)

Are you joking?

You said my edit was not civil, but it was the summary you were talking about not the edit. Dont remove my edit because you dont like the summary.Zachlita (talk) 21:20, 24 December 2015 (UTC)

I'm not joking. All of your communication on Misplaced Pages is part of the record, including edit summaries. It was the incivility of your edit summary that caught my attention, as much as the actual deletion of content which is also problematic. Are you willing to engage in a polite, consensus-based community process? If not, your contributions here will be of limited value. You might want to review WP:PILLARS; civility is one of the five core principles here and is non-negotiable. - Brianhe (talk) 21:34, 24 December 2015 (UTC)

First time you said to me you changed my edit cos I was rude. Now you change your mind? ive edited wikipedia before i know about discussion and dont appreciate your condescending tone. i didnt call anyone stupid. I called their edit stupid. criticize the edit not the editor. if you wanna talk consensus look at the article, there are a million editors saying remove the stupid speed stuff and maybe 1 or 2 saying dont. follow the consensus.Zachlita (talk) 21:40, 24 December 2015 (UTC)

You're still saying "stupid" in this very conversation when referring to other editors' contributions. That is not civil. Please stop it. There are other ways to disagree with content, without disparaging. - Brianhe (talk) 22:05, 24 December 2015 (UTC)

This would not be seen as constructive or civil by anyone. Again, please try to approach this with a collaborative attitude. Dennis is one of the core members of WP:WikiProject Motorcycling, has been credited for two Good Articles in that area, so he knows what he's talking about. Don't you think he deserves more respect for his contributions and perspective. – Brianhe (talk) 05:19, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
