Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Non-Muslim view of Husayn ibn Ali

Information icon If you are expressing the view that the article should be retained, please could you place '''Keep''' at the front of your text. At the moment, a cursory glace at the page suggests that nobody favours retention. You might want to consider whether there are any reasons for keeping the article - if you can think of any, now would be a good time to write them down at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Non-Muslim view of Husayn ibn Ali. Please take all the space you like. If it takes fifteen minutes to read your views on why the article should be saved, that would be time well spent.

As for my personal biases, I am biased in favour of Misplaced Pages having good coverage of Husayn ibn Ali. This means taking an interest in what he was really like. He was not a djinn who could kill 700 armed men in a day with his sword. Nor was he a perfect person without fault. Misplaced Pages is not meant to be an altar.-- Toddy1 (talk) 08:42, 19 November 2015 (UTC)

DYK for Palestine (2011 book)

Updated DYK queryOn 20 November 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Palestine (2011 book), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that while addressing the United Nations General Assembly, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu held up a copy of Palestine, an Iranian compilation of Ayatollah Khamenei's statements on Palestine? You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Sockpuppet investigation

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Misplaced Pages account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet investigations/Saff V., where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Misplaced Pages administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Misplaced Pages policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Misplaced Pages community.

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. DYK for Russia–Syria–Iran–Iraq coalition

Updated DYK queryOn 1 December 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Russia–Syria–Iran–Iraq coalition, which you recently nominated. The fact was ... that the Russia–Syria–Iran–Iraq coalition may have been devised during a visit by Qasem Soleimani, the commander of the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution's elite Quds Force, to Moscow in July 2015? You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Question

Can we use the shia portal talk page for coordination and help? For example help for deletion discussion and guidance etc. Nannadeem (talk) 19:34, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

Nannadeem: Sorry for the delay, you can use it for all what you think is related to the portal. "help for deletion discussion and guidance" are not related to the portal! Mhhossein (talk) 10:54, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
Ok thanks. Nannadeem (talk) 14:51, 7 December 2015 (UTC)

@Mhhossein Would you like to see the page Mohammad-Taqi Bahjat Foumani history. If our editing receives such ending, then what best we can do! Nannadeem (talk) 17:36, 17 December 2015 (UTC)

Nannadeem: Per Misplaced Pages:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle you are suggested to revert the disputed content and discuss the material on the talk page if you think the removing is not valid. There's already a topic opened for this matter and you'd better join that. Mhhossein (talk) 18:37, 17 December 2015 (UTC)

thank you

Hi Mhhossein this is Rmashhadi from wikifa, I wanted to thank you for making Arba'een Pilgrimage, they wanted to delete this article in wikifa but I stood up now I see you made it in enwiki, thank you man I realy appreciate it. I haven't seen you in wikifa but where ever you are and what ever you do, I wish you all the best.

take care--Rmashhadi (talk) 13:04, 16 December 2015 (UTC)

Hey Rmashhadi. Why did they wanted to deleted such a notable subject? That's why I don't tend to edit the Fa wiki. Btw, I put steps forward and took the article to the main page. You're welcome. Mhhossein (talk) 13:09, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
You did one hell of a job, I wish you were in wikifa too there are not so many Muslims there and I feel a little bit lonely :( about deleting the page they said "It's more like a show business rather than a real thing" or something of that nature. but this wasn't the sad part, the sad part was the user that suggested to delete it I always thought he was a believer, but apparently he is not, that's why I feel lonely there.

I'm a little bit talkative, sorry for bothering you, I wish you joy in Yalda--Rmashhadi (talk) 20:52, 16 December 2015 (UTC)

Rmashhadi: That's kind of you, I just tried to do my best. I'll be there editing when it's needed (I have had some contributions there!). You did not seem talkative to me at all. Btw, I wish a nice Yalda, too. Mhhossein (talk) 21:17, 16 December 2015 (UTC)

A technical group for dispute resolution

Salam Alaykum Eid al-Milad al-Nabi Mubarak.

There are many Islamic-related articles which may become controversial between Muslims and non-Muslims or different Islamic Madhabs. Following our succesful attempts to improve the lead of Ali and current effort in Taqiya, I suggest forming a "technical group for dispute resolution" in WP:Islam. I hope this effort pave the road to solve more severe controversies such as Islamic terrorism.--Seyyed(t-c) 07:28, 26 December 2015 (UTC)

Seyyed: I congratulate this great Eid, too. It's a smart scheme to solutions and I support that. I saw that you had also invited some other users, hence I'd like you to invite GregKaye Nannadeem and SheriffIsInTown. Mhhossein (talk) 08:00, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
