DYK for Continuing Appropriations Act, 2014

Updated DYK queryOn 9 November 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Continuing Appropriations Act, 2014, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the Continuing Appropriations Act, 2014, which resolved the 2013 U.S. government shutdown and debt-ceiling crisis, may just be kicking the can down the road? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Continuing Appropriations Act, 2014. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

List of leaders of the ALP

Hey Ewawer, this should be moved to here → Leader of the Australian Labor Party, to be consistent (and professional) with these:

(An admin can help with that page move.)

Also, for completeness, you should create Leader of the Liberal Party of Australia, the other major political party. Thanks! Best, --Discographer (talk) 01:41, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 14

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Victorian state election, 1973, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Democratic Labor Party (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Problem IP editor at Plurality (voting)

Hi Enthusiast, could you help with a problem at Plurality (voting)? An IP editor keeps placing inchoate text in topic, related to plurality, apparently using several IP addresses. See this edit, in particular, which is similar to a previous one. I don't feel that I can tackle this on my own, so I'm hoping that you can help. Sincerely, User:HopsonRoad 18:00, 31 December 2015 (UTC)

Senate change

Hi. I've reverted your division of the senators list into three. This is the kind of thing that has really widespread implications and really should be discussed before doing it (since there's clearly a project-wide standard you are proposing to change). I would suggest WT:AUP as a good place to start a discussion. Frickeg (talk) 00:00, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
