This Church legally changed its name to the '''Anglo-Lutheran Catholic Church (ALCC)''' on Octobver 16, 2007 This is a ] in the ] ] tradition. It was founded in 1997 by former members of the ]. Its headquarters is in ]. The ALCC has two theological seminaries: Wittenberg Lutheran Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri, and The Alcuin Institute of the Trans-Pecos in ] which is also an institute for research in biblical and ancient Middle Eastern languages. The ALCC is governed by a ] who is assisted by the ] (which consists of the bishops of the Church,) and a National Standing Committee.
