			There is a small rocky hill at one end of the village called Jadcherla Gutta or simply "Gutta". "Gutta" has a Ranganayaka Swamy Temple on top of the hill and has a holy pond in front of the idol. The holy water in that pond will exist throughout the year. Even though at such a great height, water will never drain in the pond, which even surprises many people. Every year during the Shravana Masa, Pilgrims visit this place and worship the god. There are 3 Dargahs also there, Haleem Kaleem Shah Dargah, Hazrat Abdullah Bin Siddique (Yaba Ki Dargah), and Hazrath Mohabbat Ali Shah Dargah.

Jadcherla (also spelled Jadcharla) is a town in Mahbubnagar district, Telangana, India. It is the main commercial center for the surrounding villages and towns. Recently it was turned into a municipality. Jadcherla consists of two towns, Jadcherla and Badepally. National Highway 7 passes through Jadcherla. It is located at 83 km (52 mi) away from state capital Hyderabad. Dr. C. Laxma Reddy is an elected MLA from Jadcherla and he is currently serving as the Health minister of the state.

History

Pre-historic habitation traces were found in and around Jadcherla town while the explorations and excavations conducted by the Archaeological department.

Gutta

There is a small rocky hill at one end of the village called Jadcherla Gutta or simply "Gutta". "Gutta" has a Ranganayaka Swamy Temple on top of the hill and has a holy pond in front of the idol. The holy water in that pond will exist throughout the year. Even though at such a great height, water will never drain in the pond, which even surprises many people. A large Ruined and Rare Brick Temple is present here at the site and the excavated sculptures were moved to a Museum at Pillalamarri near Mahbubnagar. Gollathagudi is 6.5 km from Jadcharla and located on Jadcharla-Kalwakurthy road near Awnapally Village.
