Haven for Hope was founded by a man named William Bill Greehey. Mr. Greehey was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa in 1936. He was the man who started it all. He had a vision to open up a place for the homeless community. He did just that. He wanted there to be a safe place that anyone could show up to, to receive help. He met with a number of people such as city leaders to help get the ball rolling. William Bill Greehey is of a very high status. He is a well-known philanthropist, and president of the board at Haven for Hope. He is also a chairman of the board for Nustar. William Bill Greehey was also the chairman, and CEO of Valero. He turned the rather struggling company into a billion dollar corporation.

At Haven for Hope there are dozens of life saving services. They strive to make the less fortunate better. Their mission statement is as follows “Our mission is to offer a place of hope and new beginnings. We do this by providing, coordinating and delivering an efficient system of care for people experiencing homelessness in Bexar County”. They make sure that they can provide whatever resources that are needed to succeed. They provide services such as: haircuts, dental care, and medical care, shelter for a pet, rehabilitative services, childcare, school transportation, and fitness programs, and more that come in handy. All of these services are free of charge to the residents who stay on the campus. Not only does Haven for Hope provide shelter and safety for their residents during troubling times, but they also find a path to success for them. They try to make the experience there as normal as possible for the whole family.

Haven for Hope depends largely off of donations. They receive many from your everyday people, and big businesses that are appreciative of all the work that Haven for Hope does in helping people get back up on their feet. Some of the donators are people who were once residents there. They are very grateful, and appreciative of everything that has been done for them. Donations help everyone there. They not only help the kids be prepared for school with supplies, they also provide kids with fun activities to do. For example sometimes kids are given bikes or something of that nature. They recently opened up a playground for the kids there at the campus.
:::Agree with ]. It's much more clear how it's supposed to be done ''after'' you upload the image and see what you did incorrectly. There should be a "show preview" button or something. I'm almost tempted to fill out the required fields with gibberish and upload it so that I can edit the file page directly. ] (]) 01:07, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
There are plenty of volunteer opportunities for anyone who wishes to help or contribute in some way. These volunteer opportunities help to keep people out of trouble, and give back to their community. They also help many to gain a greater understanding on the community, and everything that goes on there. These volunteer opportunities are open to everybody. They’re open to residents, and basically everyone that feels the need to help out in any way that they can. Some past residents who have found their way again sometimes go back to help out. They end up making that their goal in life to help someone the way someone had helped them. Volunteers are essential to helping Haven for Hope flourish into the vision of William Bill Greehey.
The faculty and staff at Haven for Hope are also an essential component of Haven for Hope being able to function. They are the ones who also make things possible. From the security guards to the office staff they are all needed. The staff behind the scenes help to make sure that each, and every resident is being taken care of properly. Promoting Haven for Hope, and receiving donations is one of the main components.
Since the opening of Haven for Hope the downtown population of homeless people has decreased by eighty percent. The success overall success rate they have is ninety percent. Success rate meaning people who don’t fall back into homelessness. In order for their residents not to fall back into homelessness they help them with presentation. They help their residents get back into school, and finish what they started. They help find them a job that the person can be happy about. They dress them for success on their interview day, and provide them with clothes when needed.
There are all walks of life staying there. Anybody and everybody are allowed to stay at the campus. There are a lot people who are at a certain place in life who all of a sudden take a fall, and lose everything. Situations that they just can’t handle take place in their life. There are some who go to Haven for Hope, and some who stay on the streets just because they haven’t yet heard of Haven for Hope. In knowing this the organization gets a team together to do a street sweep, and take all the people that will go with them to Haven for Hope. They give them shelter, and come up with a plan specifically to fit the resident’s needs, and to help them get back on track. For those not willing to take the next step with Haven for Hope they are allowed to stay in the courtyard that is provided by Haven for Hope. There are also meals that the organization provides for the homeless that do not wish to stay there at the moment. They provide them with clothes or any other tools they may need as well. They also provide them with the guarantee of open arms if they end up wanting to stay there for the long haul and start making some changes.

No, you're not the author, the publisher of the magazine would be. (You're making a faithful/slavish reproduction of a copyrighted work, which is not considered to create a new copyright via US law). --MASEM (t) 19:12, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
I did not want the answer, I want it made clear in the uploader. I see that once you have uploaded it, some moderately helpful information appears, which would have been useful before. If anyone else is having trouble, see Template:Non-free use rationale serial publication. Chemical Engineer (talk) 19:32, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
Agree with User:Chemical Engineer. It's much more clear how it's supposed to be done after you upload the image and see what you did incorrectly. There should be a "show preview" button or something. I'm almost tempted to fill out the required fields with gibberish and upload it so that I can edit the file page directly. Lizard (talk) 01:07, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

What can I put something on I have on my IPhone to put it on this. Thanks Hayes Runner (talk) 04:59, 15 September 2016 (UTC)

No probs

I'm fairly WP savvy but usually get confused by the ambiguity and vagueness of file upload instructions. It's a lot clearer now. Thanks. (May still be a bit of a challenge for newbies - don't know - but at least this ten-year veteran isn't left scratching his head any more.) --Anthonyhcole (talk · contribs · email) 05:46, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
