Please put new entries at the BOTTOM OF THE PAGE

Speedy Deletion

Hello @reddogsix it seems you flagged the page for Joseph sutton (author) for speedy deletion, and I would like to know more about why. I would argue that Joseph Sutton is a significant San Francisco literary person. Joseph Sutton’s work represents an unusually broad range of subjects, in both non-fiction and fiction formats, including the immigrant experience, the art of writing, the contemporary family and the all American pastime of baseball. His authorship of 13 books starting in 1991 shows a long lasting contribution to the field, to he will continue to enhance. This entry for Joseph Sutton into Misplaced Pages is important for people looking for contemporary writing on topics of importance and interest to Americans. Speedy Deletion

Hello, you nominated my page, on Kevin Anderson & Associates, for speedy deletion for the following reason:

Lacks non-trivial support for the company. Although uses recognized authors, the author's works are their own work product (granted it is not acknowledged as such, but neither is it acknowledged as the company's) and the author's notability is not inherited by the company.

The company is the most widely-cited in the ghostwriting industry, and, as such, it seems to me to offer a valuable contribution to the discussion of this industry as a whole. You mention that the authors works are their own, but many of their works were written under contract with Kevin Anderson & Associates.

I certainly want to make this article conform to community guidelines. Any suggestions for expansion/alteration that you have would be more than welcome.

NOTIMILLOS

Hi RedDogSix You have recently marked that the page that I created of NotiMillos is canceled because you consider that there are no reliable sources to validate the information ... I would like to be able to answer you with arguments but I am not part of the management team of the page, but as user I consider that since they founded in 2011 the web have more route and achievements to be able to have a wikipedia.

As a forum user I can tell you that the administrators themselves uploaded photos when they met with the management team and when they gave their own medal of honor, it's a shame that we have to rely on news in the network to determine if an organization or Institution must have wikipedia. I hope you consider leaving the page alive, I ask you from the heart, they will have credits in the forum and the web always, I am going to communicate to Notimillos, please, don't be bad. --ShayminCat (talk) 02:01, 15 November 2016 (UTC)

Antonio buenaventura A10

Hi, I declined your A10 on Antonio buenaventura since it was a plausible redirect (I had redirected the page upon noticing the double creation in the New Pages Feed). Assuming the main page is deleted as a copyvio, the deleting admin will delete it per CSD G8. TonyBallioni (talk) 15:43, 15 November 2016 (UTC)

Micahelfrahn

Hi RedDogSix. You recently marked that the page I created of Anne Eisenhower should be deleted because it was unimportant. I think you were definitely too hasty in doing this. She is the granddaughter of a president of the United States who spent her childhood in the White House. She was in the public eye of the American people for years. She also went on to become one of the countries most famous interior designers. I request that you take away your marking of my page, please. I am a historian with more than 40 years of experience. I know what is important when dealing with history. Thanks so much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Micahelfrahn (talkcontribs) 22:53, 15 November 2016 (UTC)

User group: New Page Reviewr

Hello Reddogsix.

Based on the patrols you made of new pages during a qualifying period in 2016, your account has been added to the "New page reviewers" user group, allowing you to review new pages and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or in some cases, tag them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed.

New page reviewing is a vital function for policing the quality of the encylopedia, if you have not already done so, you must read the new tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the various deletion criteria. If you need more help or wish to discuss the process, please join or start a thread at page reviewer talk.
  • Be nice to new users - they are often not aware of doing anything wrong.
  • You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted - be formal and polite in your approach to them too, even if they are not.
  • Don't review a page if you are not sure what to do. Just leave it for another reviewer.
  • Remember that quality is quintessential to good patrolling. Take your time to patrol each article, there is no rush. Use the message feature and offer basic advice.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In case of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, the right can be revoked at any time by an administrator. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:34, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

Pandicorn

Just a friendly heads up. I declined the speedy on Pandicorn, since it's a real thing. Gsearch isn't showing notability, however, so I'm going to PROD it.

Thanks, good call.reddogsix (talk) 02:50, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

PU Mirror

Not from my perspective. Others may disagree, but I have CSD'd it. reddogsix (talk) 04:05, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

Javier Echecopar Article

Hello Reddogsix, How are you? I come to you again to ask for your help. Last Year I created an article called Javier Echecopar but it was deleted because the article had problems. Misplaced Pages detected a copyright infringement. About this problem I tried to explain that the data manager of the official webpage of Mr. Javier Echecopar uploaded by mistake the documents designated for Misplaced Pages. As much as we asked him to fix the problem, it was too late. The article was deleted. This week I talked with Mr. Javier Echecopar to revisit the issue. This week we agreed to delete the documents of the web page to avoid the conflicts of copyright. All the information is totally true and we had work so much to make this correctly. Today I wish to ask you for your help to solve this problem. I wish to know what can I do to fix it and to be able to properly publish the article. I have some questions: My user is enabled to try to edit this article again? Which steps can I follow to fix this problem? I really appreciate your help. I'm waiting for your news Best Regards --Xhendyc (talk) 16:40, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

Hello, Xhendyc
This is indeed an interesting problem. The difficulty you will have is the materials have been published elsewhere and therefore copyrighted. The only way to avoid a copyright issue is to donate the materials to Misplaced Pages. See WP:DCM for an explanation of the process to do so. Best of luck. reddogsix (talk) 16:48, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for your suggestion Reddogsix. I'll read carefully to do that process. I will keep you informed of anything. Best Regards --Xhendyc (talk) 03:33, 1 December 2016 (UTC)

Hi! I was just adding sources when Daniel Doherty was deleted. I did not understand how to add sources on the first page because I already had them but they did not copy over. But when I clicked save and the format changed, I could then add the sources. Miasdae (talk) 02:20, 20 November 2016 (UTC)

Why threaten me

the statement you made at my talk page was both uncivilized and uncalled for. If people ain't taught how to use Misplaced Pages by people like you then who will. you went to my talk page and started threatening to block me. For crying out loud I've been on[REDACTED] for over a year just tell me what is wrong with the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mahveotm (talkcontribs) 23:34, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

@Mahveotm - I suggest you read the CSD placed on the article. If you have any specific questions, please let me know. As far as the warning placed on your talk page ,that resulted from your removal of the CSD from the article. If you wish not to get warned , then stop removing the tags. The CSD specifically prohibits doing so. Again, I suggest you read the CSD, before reacting to it. reddogsix (talk) 23:55, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

New Page Review - newsletter

I hope I am posting in the right page as I can't seem to see where to post. I don;t understand why each time my posts are getting 'deleted' or changed even thought I own the copyrights. Satya adt (talk) 03:28, 29 November 2016 (UTC)

@Satya adt|talk, this is the right place to communicate with me. As I indicated on the image pages, you need to follow the process outlined in WP:DCM. Ltjough you say you own the images, there is no proof you do. Because we are dealing with internet, anyone can say they own the image, but without providing ownership, anyone can say that. The process is in place to protect you, the owner, from misuse of your images. reddogsix (talk) 03:36, 29 November 2016 (UTC)

I have unreviewed a page you curated

Thanks for reviewing Black Horse Spitfire, Reddogsix.

Unfortunately Kudpung has just gone over this page again and unreviewed it. Their note is:

This page should be PRODed

To reply, leave a comment on Kudpung's talk page.

I've "unreviewed" one (by the more straightforward process of removing the CSD tag) on Annemarie Lewis Thomas - it's a good idea to quickly search on existing articles for a name to see what comes up (in this case there was a hit on Musical Theatre Academy). Also found the BBC News source the Black Horse Spitfire was probably cribbed from and removed the PROD. Ritchie333 18:31, 30 November 2016 (UTC)

Yair Koas

Hi. You marked the page on actor and martial artist Yair Koas as meant for speedy deletion. First off, thank you for taking the time to patrol new articles, but in this case I believe you are mistaken. For martial arts you can check USAT (the olympic Taekwondo registrar) which marks Yair as being a registered coach as well as a competitor in the state championships in 2013 (next would be the National championships and then olympics - so all are noteworthy). His regional theater credits and tour credits are under major Broadway actors and directors, and are in large theaters; once again worthy for credibility. He is also signed to a major agency. I am heavily involved in the acting world and know when someone is major. Hoping you can take away the speedy deletion tag on that page. 129.64.150.144 (talk) 05:11, 29 November 2016 (UTC)

K.B. (Kirkland Bodie)

I am excited to join the Misplaced Pages family.

This is my first article and I hope to share more about the wonderful culture and cultural figures of The Bahamas.

If there is a challenge with the way this article is written, please offer any advice for improvement.

Thanks for your input.

Speedy Deletion of Brian D. Evans

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (The page Brian D. Evans should not be deleted, Brian is know globally as an entrepreneur being featured on several top sites like Forbes, inc, huffington post,entrepreneur.com and others. He has been named by Forbes as one of the top 7 people to lookout for in 2017. Please, Review this page once again, Thanks Historywiki11 (talk) 00:30, 5 December 2016 (UTC)

Read the tag you yourself placed on Whitelash

Read the tag you yourself placed on Whitelash.

It says:

"Disambiguation pages and redirects are not eligible for this criterion."

{{Wiktionary redirect}} defines itself as a "soft redirect".

Therefore the tagging and talk page warning were both inappropriate.
