Information icon Hello, I'm Ibadibam. Your recent edit to the page Bucatini appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Ibadibam (talk) 19:07, 18 August 2016 (UTC)

It seems to me that the edits you made to Swensons were not with the intention of improving encyclopedic coverage of the topic. I have removed the sentence and accompanying link that is apparently a picture of you, your friend, or someone you're trying to embarrass. Everything else I have tagged for further scrutiny. Please share your rationale for these edits at Talk:Swensons#BBYO. Ibadibam (talk) 19:13, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Misplaced Pages, as you did to Swensons, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Ibadibam (talk) 01:07, 20 August 2016 (UTC)

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce jokes into articles, as you did at Swensons, you may be blocked from editing. Misplaced Pages is a serious encyclopedia, and contributions of this type are considered vandalism. Ibadibam (talk) 23:45, 15 October 2016 (UTC)

Please stop edit-warring over the article. Start a discussion on the article's talk page instead, and build consensus for the inclusion of the material you wish to add.

You might want to read WP:Verifiability and WP:Identifying reliable sources. If, after reading them, you still believe the section of puffery you're fighting to add to the article is adequately sourced, please start a discussion at WP:RS/N and see what the editors there think. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz /Stalk 01:47, 13 April 2017 (UTC)

Please stop and use the article's talk page to discuss your proposed changes. Otherwise, I will report you for edit-warring and you may be blocked from editing. — MShabazz /Stalk 17:38, 14 April 2017 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest

Information icon Hello, Mark612. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Misplaced Pages, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Misplaced Pages articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Misplaced Pages article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Misplaced Pages's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Misplaced Pages's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. NeilN 17:46, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
